No, you can't. Even if these two models have almost similar specs there are a lot of things being different. The development for the Moto G 2014 is very active, I'm sure you'll find a rom that fits your needs.

Did you reboot between rom and gapps? If yes flash rom and gapps before booting up.

The most interesting thing is the optimized ART runtime. It's enabled by default and works with much more apps now.
I didn't try it on N4 yet, but on a similar device which basically is hardware compatible.

it's from master branch.
basically it's a mix between 4.4.3 and 4.5.
Google pushes core changes to master branch and hobby devs can use gerrit to merge changes into that branch.
The new features and UI changes are still closed source until google releases a new android update.

mainly ART, because it should work with much more(maybe all) apps now.
And many small optimizations.

CWM should have asked you to disable recovery flash.
anyway. you can easily flash recovery from fastboot

Installed and working ok
Installed on my Nexus 4 and everything works ok. Installed Banks' latest Gapps too. TWRP still working.
One weird thing is there's a red square flashing around the edge on some screens.
Have to go out so didnt have time to mess around any more.

Just edit build.prop (/system/build.prop) look for ro.build.type=eng and change it to ro.build.type=userdebug

Clearly there's been no more development for this ROM since 2016. Is there really nobody interested in developing a new ROM for Atrix? I'd love to see LineageOS running on it.

I'm just someone looking to see whats up with this rom and try to fix whats wrong with it. If a cm or los release is a viable option, i may do it

Edit 1 - Im testing the rom and Im loving so far...I could use it as a daily driver if my voice and the other person's voice wasn't distorced when I make calls, but it's a very nice rom, keep up the good work!

Thanks! Myself I know that trusted face is from the gapps selection, which right now it's pretty minimal so it's not present. Haven't tried installing P one or Pixel dump one tho

I've tried flashing pie open gapps but they won't install as it detects the Android version as incompatible.
I also found this one: cyanogenmods.org/downloads/bitgapps-for-android-10-download
But when I flash it from twrp, the ROM won't boot anymore.
Can you fix it plz?

Gapps will come with time, the packages are still alpha/beta
Lineage has too few customization options. I hope other roms will appear earlier. Do you know if it will appear within a month?

Am I being dumb? The gapps package doesn't install anything. No Play Store, no setup on first boot. Just doesn't do it on a completely clean install.
Third flash is a charm I guess. Weird... Still no setup on a factory reset though which sucks since you can't restore your info from Google.

Yeah there's no setup wizard. But don't worry, compiled Aosip Q and put in built in pixel gapps. Will release later
