I downloaded two, and yes, they started very slowly, then rushed after about 1-2 Mbs were downloaded.
There is some work to be done in the Smartworld for sure.
Also, I had to turn my screen off while driving with the 360 wallpapers as it's was quite distracting and even a bit nauseating.
Yes the download is very very slow. And it is so slow for everything. Now im trying t download one 360 video more than 250 MB and its a long long time to go.
I think no pages yet ...

I saw very little difference in battery drain - probably less of a drain then the Always on Screen.
I ended up not using them because moving around in a car/bus/train and looking at my screen would make me nauseous...

One question, i noticed than using a 360° wallpaper different than the stock one, when unlocking the phone there is 1 second of black screen before the wallpaper and icons show up, anyone have noticed that? Any solution?

Id love to have a nice cleaned up version of this. would be awesome.
Actually working on cleaning up the images in photo shop but i have a few questions.
is the res in the script the sizes i need and is that width by height or vice versa?
Is there a frame limit or is that only limited by file size?
do we have a color pallet limit? (eg. 256, 64k what not?
here is my basic idea, insert a few repetitive frames of the actual umbrella symbol to stabilize it a little longer before it goes a flutter again.
After counting there are 3 hangs in the original .gif that really make it pull the eye, so trying to isolate those frames.not sure how to tear apart a gif or i would try and pull all the original images so i could increase size and clean it up.
any ideas you got would help. New at this and flying by the skin of my teeth sticking with what i know. which in this realm is some what limited.
this occurred to me just after i clicked post lol. But anyone know if the live wallpapers are based of the same file setup? have an idea i thought we could toss around for alive wall paper to keep up the basic theme going here.Not figuring on co-opting you for a full theme unless it is something you are interested in. but if sounds like fun post it here or shoot me a private either way.

i havent really noticed any limitations, i guess just the file size has to be kept low, so it wont take up too much room.
as for live wallpapers, its completely different and i wouldnt know where to begin.

in the desc.txt it has height/width values. you could try changing those to get it to a decent size. will probably affect the quality though.
if you do edit the txt file remember that nothing within the "bootanimation.zip" can be compressed, everything should be stored only, otherwise your device wont read it.
thanks again gonna see what i cant do to rizize the images in photoshop try ad los some of the speckle and blur. if i get it going ill get it to you or post it with proper credit. Started researching the live wallpapers last night might take me a couple days as my scripting use is way out of practice lol.

Yo tengo las imágenes en 200 x 200px y se ven muy bien de hecho pensaba hacer también la petición aunque mi samsung gio no le he podido habilitar el boot animation y cuando quise probar el GioPro v1.4 no podía cargarlo se quedaba trabado en el boot animation.

I had a Htc HD2 before my LG STAR and it cames updates every day taken from another phones.

The Nexus S also has a gyroscope...
Thats a pretty cool effect. Is it possible to do the same with a live wallpaper on android?
Theres a swedish dude working on it. Im guessing there will be a thread on XDA when its ready.
In order to detect the angle of a phone you need an accelerometer. Not a gyro.
You can determine the angle of a phone with a gyro by integrating it's results twice but that is not very accurate and the error (actual position - calculated position) will increase dramatically over time. This is not the case when using an accelerometer. It works by measuring the pull of gravity (acceleration) on the device. Ofcourse when the device is accelerating (for example while in a car) the results will be off.

See them at the Market by name "3D Wallpaper Effect" (sorry I can't post URL's yet), also you can find my previous live wallpaper - "Green Live Wallpaper" at this market account too.
This Live Wallpaper for all Android phones, which support Live Wallpapers, not only LG Optimus 2x
In next releases, I will add selection of own images, tilt strength, and optimize refresh rate.

Too bad i cant test it yet. My 2x hasnt been delivered yet and my g1 lags with live wallpapers so i guess it will be even slower with an 3d one.

Seems pretty cool, but not quite so effective wow effect as in the video... image "wiggle" a little when holding the phone... guess it's jus my shaky hands, but could it be fixed? Higher tollerance perhaps?

Samsung Secret Live Wallpaper working on the xoom!! Just load like any other apk and give a sec or two to normalize! Runs ok!
What I like about these wallpapers is that they change with your current weather, just update the times in setting. If you use and like just hit the thanks button please!
Took off the first beaches live wallpaper until it is clearer. Will optimize both soon and re-post!

What kind of picture did you try? Panorama should look awesome on almost all pictures except direct lines and human faces.

May be the resolution of these images it too low, you can try any HD wallpapers and you'll see panorama is great!

HTC Sence 3.0 does not support wallpaper scrolling, sorry for that. But i can always use any custom launcher like Go Launcher, Nove Launcher etc.

On my first setup of the phone, i was able to install and use Samsung's own High Contrast II theme, which is the best black theme that i used until now.
I was forced to reset my phone, and after that, logging in with the same Samsung account, i was not able anymore to find that theme.
I looked into all themes of Samsung, and there is no High contrast theme there.
Can someone please upload it here?
It was free, so i guess is no issue with that.

The link doesant work it opens the theme but there it says error it.s not yet available
That URL, from post #4, if opened with Samsung Themes, it should show it ... but it seems it is not available for Romania anymore .. which is strange, as it was.
It seems that in the last week, premium theme store was launched in Romania .. and since then, this theme is not available anymre for us.
As it is a free theme ... if someone can, please post it here (i do not know what is the path where theme APK is saved ..)

I have both Samsung High Contrast
installed on my phone.
I also tried to paste link to theme here, but give same message as you stated above.
Best is to search Theme Store for
High Contrast.
Search should show 2 x themes ?
The second theme Samsung "High Contrast. Sky Black" is according to my installed themes the same theme..? as High Contrast 2
Otherwise
Oxy_OS_Black by Lucas Kendi (free on Samsung Themes) is very close to High Contrast.
Just note this theme changes you navebar icons (quite nice)
