Alcatel One touch Elevate xposed framework - Xposed General

Hello! I wanted to know if Alcatel OneTouch Eleveate (Lollipop, 5.1.1.) Is compatible for flashing the zip file needed in order to get it activated. As far as I have seen, my Alcatel is compatible with a few rooted apps like when I patched it with Lucky Patcher. But I don't know if flashing it for Xposed is safe or not. So does anyone know if it is safe for it to flash?

Instead of just posting that this isn't the support section, which achieves nothing, please report the thread so we can move it. Thanks.

Simple way to root SM-G800F with Chainfire and Odin

Hi All,
since friday a YouTube video is out showing how to root the SM-G800F in only 2 minutes.
You can find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XpGTwifH50
You will find all needed downloads in the information section of the video: Odin, CainFire SM-G800F root, Samsung USB Driver.
You don't need to re-configure your device afterwards.
I just tried it and it works perfectly without reinstalling the rom or anything else. Just the typical Odin stuff, some clicks and it's done. Everything stays as it was before, you only get root.
Enjoy! :victory:
IMPORTANT: it's obviously only for the SM-G800F!
It would have been nice if you mentioned who created this rooting method here as well as on youtube. You say Chainfire, but he officially does not support SM-G800F. Check http://autoroot.chainfire.eu

sure? check out the file name, cf-auto-root-sm_g800f-kminilte-xxu1ang7.*tar.md5 sounds like a chainfire file to me or possibliy it's a modification by ?kminilite??
sorry, I'm not a developer and also not in the "scene", I'm just an Android enthusiastic and modder and want to help here. to be honest, I have no idea if it is from CF itself or the guys from xda-root.com or both. If this is soo important to you, you have to find out the 100% correct answer by yourself or some other supporter

so you didnt created anything, but only tried one's work with your own device - we are all thankful.
Second, we dont have any prove that Chainfire already know that before.
One way or another, thank you polyconvex to point it out
..Thank but it's only for Root or install also a CWN ?
And in term of root which is the difference with root http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54592755&postcount=4

It is a bit more than trying a prepackaged binary on a new device. That won't work at all. If you don't believe me then download any file you like from chainfire's website and try to use it on SM-G800F. The trick is to modify enough of that original code to work on the new device. That modification is my own work, which I published on the other thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54592755&postcount=4, without any permission to redistribute it. A big part of the file is originally from chainfire, another big part is from Samsung itself, the modification to combine it all in a way that it works on SM-G800F is mine. The name 'kminilte' refers to the SoC chip on the phone as shown by the kernel.

In any case Chainfire now has his own version of autoroot for each S5 Mini variant in the market. Mine only works on SM-G800F not on other variants. My file has the md5 sum dc6517140efa4058d1f67c8e1784efe7 and Chainfire's files have different md5 sums as listed on his website.
build numbers
Anyone know if this method will work with a different build No?? KOT49H.G800FXXU1ANL1 - S5 Mini
Or how I can get it to work!? Need root
Many thanks in advance!
Flash counter?
I'm new to the Samsung modding scene, so excuse me if my question is outdated.
But are the flash counter / yellow triangle still a problem on Samsung devices? Do I need to take any preliminary measures, to ensure that I can revert to stock and not give away that I have had it flashed (for warranty cases)?
If we use this methode to root our device, do we need to re-install all our apps as it would on a new clean install ?
To awnser my own question
No, we don't re-install all the apps as stated in the first post.
Chainfire's bootloader is fantastic !!!!
Is it good for G800F lollipop firmware ?
If you do so, you work:

question on xposed framework?

Will the xposed framework work on a root android one phone? Specifically the gravity box mod? Has someone installed the xposed framework on a stock android one rom?
My phone is kind of a daily driver, so just checking to see if some one already has done this and their experience if any.

Thanks guys. Based on feedback went ahead and rooted stock ROM. Got xposed installed and gravity box running.
Did not loose data as I did not unlock boot loader. So app data remained, which is what I wanted.
Overall, I would recommend anyone with this phone to go with xposed framework.
What are the other modules that you guys are finding helpful apart from gravity box?

Scroll through the list to discover others that you need. Hope this helped

[Q] Xposed on Mi Note Pro

Does anyone have any experience with it?
I tried with Xposed arm 64 and the result is bootloop
It should be wsm tools instead of xposed I think. But I don't believe there is a version that is compatible with our device currently

xposed is incorporated into their firmware, though it has been highly modified.
So did anybody managed to get a full Xposed support ?
Has anybody tried WSM tools ?
No, WSM cant install the framework either...
I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3165211 and it didn't work either
Any update guys?
No Update, Unfortunately
I did manage to get a bit further, I already said this on MIUI forum. I have successfully flashed SDK21 without any bootloops but the problem is that WSM Tools does not support SDK21
Someone said it works now?

I'll try the minks given by the user who said it works and I'll report.
However it's highly doubtful it'll work ?
Was going to try it out at home but since you are giving a go let us know how it goes.
Well I tried but Xposed is still incompatible with our processor's architecture :/
Still not working for me

Are there any Xposed for Lollipop yet for the LG G4 4 T-MOBILE???

On my G3 I loved it but I have been having problems trying to understand why we dont have it yet but then again we just got ROOT!!!
So whats your take on this matter and have you ever used Xposed for Lollipop ?
G4 has a 64bit processor where as the G3 had a 32bit. Xposed currently not working on 64bit w/ 5.1 OS.

Installing xposed in its current state will leave you with boot loops for breakfast. There is a thread with someone trying to get it to work in the general G4 forums but sounds like he has a ways to go still.
Why would this question be asked here. There is a main xposed thread

Someone with the H815 tried it and it bootloops. romracer did get logs from someone today in his thread though, so maybe something will happen. I feel like we might have CM up and running before we have Xposed for the stock ROM.
I tried the latest unofficial this morning (the one from 8/4) and it's still bootlooping. If you're going to try, make sure you make a backup before hand that you can restore to.
v70 8/8 build, still not working. I was able to reboot to twrp and flash the uninstaller with no problems.if

Use ARM for Nexus 6. ARM64 is for 64 bit processors and x86 is for Intel based chipsets.

As always - please post a logcat, otherwise I can't help you. Maybe the Xposed log will also be sufficient, that depends on the cause of the issue.

Did you actually activate some modules? If yes, then please post a full logcat, taken as soon as possible after booting. Issues like this might occur if SELinux blocks access to the file. Maybe it doesn't appear on my Nexus 9 because I have installed SuperSU 2.52, including the modified boot image.
