Where is the kindle fire boot animation located. I am using a rooted kindle fire 5th gen 7 inch running fire is 5.1.2. Thanks.
From what I have read here on xda, the "Amazon" portion of the boot animation is contained in the locked bootloader. So that's not going to be changed by us any time soon.
The "Fire" bootup animation portion has been replaced, however. Loading the Nexus ROM will replace the "Fire" bootup animation portion with a dancing, pulsing dots animation during boot. The "Amazon" name portion remains during boot, however.
Here is a YouTube video by xda's RootJunky on how to load a AOSP Nexus ROM on a 5th gen Fire 7.
At 4:08 into the video is the modified bootup animation:

I used FlashFire to load the Nexus rom on 3 of my rooted 5th gen Fire 7's that had 5.1.2 firmware.
Does anyone know where the stock Fire logo boot animation is (or, better yet, can anyone upload the file/PM it)? I was gonna create a custom one starting with that as a base, but I couldn't find the bootanimation.zip to save my life (search was conducted with Root Explorer).

Hello all,
Just yesterday I fitted my Kindle Fire HD 7" with TWRP. I rebooted the decive and it started straight into recovery. Reboot again. Straight into recovery.
Here is everything I've attempted to fix it:
-Vol. Up Button during start up- Nothing happens
-Recovery/Restore- Restore Fails At System
-ADB Debugging- idme not found error
-Pokey 9000's Alt. commands- Cannot push to device
Is this a bootloop? Does this happen to others? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance!

Its happened because the tutorials aren't exactly up to par on telling people a little something, the newer amazon os checks to see if your boot loader version matches, if not it boot loops. Follow this tutorial and it should help you get a os loaded back onto it that will boot.

I need help ASAP. I was doing some things to change the default launcher from the Amazon one to Nova, but I decided to give up and undo all the things I had done. After I finished, I reset the device and when I boot it up, it showed the Fire boot animation with the text, " Optimizing system storage and applications...". I let it sit there for about 20 minutes with no sign of change except for the progress bar stuck at the end. Is my Fire bricked, and if it is, can I unbrick it if it's on OS version 5.1.1?
Thanks.

[Help][Can't boot into Fire OS] Amazon Fire Tablet 10" (7th generation) from rooting
My Fire tablet HD 10 was bricked from using the Kingoroot app. I closed Kingoroot and restarted the device. However, the Fire logo stayed on when I turned it back on. I can go into recovery mode and that is it. Contacted Amazon support, and they said you cannot flash anything onto the device (not even the Fire OS firmware).
Resetting to manufacturer defaults does not work.
This is not a boot loop where it shows the Amazon logo or Fire logo for a couple seconds and then turn off and comes back on in a loop.
I'm hoping to be able to flash Fire OS back onto the tablet. Thanks if you can help.
Sorry forgot to add:
-Bootloader is not unlocked.
-The Rom is Amazon Fire OS
-Can't check Kernel name since the OS is bricked
-I'm not using any mods
-No custom rom
-Tried to reset, contact support, and use tutorials online.
-Not rooted but failed during rooting
-Fire OS is bricked from root however I can still access Amazon recovery mode
-Tried contacting support
-Used Kingoroot Android App but stuck at 90%. I closed the app and restarted the tablet.
