Xposed Installer on S5 Neo (SM-G903F) 5.1.1 Possible? - Xposed General

I'm sorry, this has surely been answered somewhere but after spending most of my day trying to get Secure Settings working on Lollipop and a few more hours reading about the trouble rovo89 had with bootloops on Samsungs I'm totally confused. His thread didn't say he'd solved the issue but I found a couple of other threads that looked like they'd tried fixing it but I couldn't find anything specific for my phone model.
I have a freshly rooted Galaxy S5 neo running stock 5.1.1. and I have no idea if it's odexed or not (I used the Chainfire method to root). Can I use Xposed Installer on this? If so, where is the download please?

Please refer to this thread for information and discussion about Xposed for Lollipop. Read post #2, it contains all the information to identify the correct Xposed framework for your device. Most likely, you will need wanam's Xposed version, but please use the table provided in the official Xposed for Lollipop thread to identify the correct version by yourself.

Thank you! That's probably the one relevant thread I didn't find!

[Q] New Galaxy S4 Active (SGH-I537 ATT) owner needs advice on rooting

Hi, is there a "FAQ" for this phone which outlines all necessary aspects for rooting this particular phone? Mine is arriving Monday so I suppose I'll have to wait and see what OS etc. is on it.

There's not a FAQ for this phone since it's not nearly as popular as the S4 and didn't sell nearly as many units. That said it depends on which version you got.
If you have the i537, check this thread.
If you have the i9295, check this thread.
Other than that, just search through the General forum, most everything you are looking for can be found there.

Thank you Devo for the response, I appreciate it and the link you provided to the firmwares. I ordered yesterday from AT&T and believe it's the SGH-I537. I've been searching quite a bit and been looking at TenEightyPee's thread below and found that very useful
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347793
Now in that thread, for custom ROMs and recoveries, we still can or cannot load these?

The root method you linked to will only work for certain firmware versions on the i537. The thread I linked to has links to everything for all firmwares.
Since the i537 has a locked bootloader you cannot flash custom recovery or kernel. You can use SafeStrap to kind of get around it, but it's not perfect. The i9295 has an unlocked bootloader so you can do pretty much anything you want with it.

"The Death of Root" and Xposed

Hi! My title refers to Steve Kondik's post here.
In the post, Kondik describes how many root apps can be designed to not require root.
Here's an example of what he was talking about.
I was just wondering if the developer, @rovo89, might look into this? Thanks so much!
Also, I'm sorry if someone has asked something like this already or if I posted in the wrong area. For some reason I can search this forum using chrome mobile...
That's not possible for Xposed. Read the stuck threads on what Xposed modifies for more info - it just requires root to install.
These posts are from July 2013 and they are about Android 4.3. As you probably know, Xposed has not only survived Android 4.3, but also 4.4. As GermainZ mentioned, root is just needed only for the installation of the framework.

@quangdx21, it has been mentioned in this forum so many times already. These questions have to be asked in this thread, because you have a stock Samsung ROM.
Search before posting. It's getting annoying. READ the rules.
Next to that, I would like to tell you to NOT mention rovo89 for those kind of questions. Neither use those red, big letters. Just use normal font and colour.

I have the Samsung I9500 and CPU architecture ARM71

Yes that is what I used to flash Xposed as shown on youtube so I tried to do it all properly but its not working.
Do you have a Custom Firmware like LineageOS?
No I do not cause you should not need too just flash Xposed with correct version and your phone should boot.
Please let me know which firmware of Xposed should I flash?? Arm 21 variants do not work.

I believe that the following thread guide is the one for you.
Be sure to follow the steps on the OP. I saw some posts on that thread confirming that it does work on the I9500 with Android 5.x Firmware.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3113160
I had a feeling that there was a different approach to your S4 device and i didn't want to provide any guidance under an assumption for your specific device.
Also note the specialized apk and framework installation. This is why, what you tried, didn't work.
I wish you the best of luck!
