Remove back cover and with a pen press the yellow button which is really small(it is near the led, in the center, near the sd card). Press it for 10 seconds or until your phone vibrates 3 times if it doesn't that means it is already powered off. Then load the .ftf with flashtools and when it shows you the picture it has the steps- you plug in usb cabel while holding the volume button.

Please be a little more specific the next time you post
By not booting did you mean that your screen is not showing anything, not even the Sony logo? Or is it stuck in bootloop?
I think he just stuck in bootloop or something else becuse he said that he didn't wipes but just installed the ROM update, so i think the recovery still can be access..
So you can boot to recovery again and wipes all data then install the rom again

Sorry mate, how Vinay_FXG said: you have to be a little more specific. Do you have a locked or an unlocked bootloader, stock rom or a custom rom ...
Please go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2683688
here you can find all roms until today. Or you go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2683688
a thread of mrjraider where you can find the custom roms. And btw .207 firmware is stockrom!
Greets:fingers-crossed:
Thank you
Dear people,
So i tried flashing my android phone with rashr and installing Android 6.0 marshmallow, so when i went into rashr and pressed "reboot into recovery mode on boot"
it keeps booting into recovery mode, although i have a black screen when it's in recovery mode and i can tell that it's on because the phone gets warmer the longer it's on.
I've honestly tried everything on the Internet, i think i even got some viruses on my computer now, is there anything i can do?
Or am i screwed? ;c
Thanks,
Alanaaya

I do not know why they had this problem, in my case and in all the people who tested here the phone worked normally. I think the problem is to enter FFBM with the bootloader locked, bad with the bootloader already unlocked FFBM will work only for the phone to call as the factory default
Anybody can confirm this?
Edit:
For reference of other users, I tried this but it didn't remove bootloader messages and phone booted to some sort of factory test software.
Help. FFBM MODE just came up on my phone. I can't get past it. The phone will do nothing . No idea what I'm doing. Help.

So I was trying to restore back to stock firmware with miflash, but for some reason it messed up and now wont boot at all.
Yes ive tried force rebooting it, plugging it in my pc, nothing will work. i say a notification led that blinks every like 30 seconds.
its just stuck at a black screen, i left it off the charger to drain the battery but im not sure if it still has battery or not.

Correct I tried holding it for like 30-40 seconds and nothing. all i see is the led blinking and nothing else
OK, try this :-
-install JDK 8
-download and run https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools
-select fastboot tab
-Hold down power button again, see if anything pops up in the left box
If it does, then you can download the latest global / eea rom and flash it from there. If nothing comes up, we'll see what else we can do
