Just recently received android 6.0.1 OTA update on my N920i
Firmware is... BPD3
New power saving option restricts sync to it's better not to use it, and then phone battery is like half the performance of what it was on 5.1.1
I've two devices both N920i and both have same issue.
Any solution?
Mine is working fine, I don't have battery drain.
I have a 920G.

I guess it's typically with n920i, because I've two phones and both have this issue, have you turned on power saver? And if yes, doesn't it affect sync?
I got the same issue on my N920W8 after installing the MM update even with a fresh wipe.

I remember someone suggested the samething for me but instead he asked me to make a full erase from recovery then flash stock rom twice. Still didn't work for me eventhough it worked for him.

For that fix to work you need to be rooted. I don't wanna root or anything. I just want stock rom with everything stock and still no deep sleep error. In simole words, I want my phone to be in a condition as it was when I bought it.

SO far works great thanks
I have International Note 5 with stock Singapore DVU firmware. After updating to stock Marshmallow a have serious battery drain and when the phone reaches 20% it shuts down by itself. I need to go back to 5.1.1. software,
I did downloaded the software from Samoblie, can I just start Odin and connect the phone a flash the old Lollipop software to the phone? Or is it better to do factory re set first, and then flash the software? I am not rooted. Usually i root all my Samsung phones but this one was almost perfect so no need to root. Am I missing something important? All my settings will be erased? What about pictures and music on the internal memory card? All gone?
thank you for your answers.

I fully agree.
Before 35.0.a.1.238, SM was great. Doubled my batt life. I got an estimated 54hrs with SM on BEFORE the .238.
Now with 35.0.a.1.238 i get a FEW MINS extra with SM.
Really hating the new update.
Anyway I can revert back to the stock build number?
Downgrade the system update?

Yeah.. Download flashtool and an ftf with the old firmware, flash it as the instructions say and you are good to go.
There are tons of guides on the net and you should be able to find an ftf firmware from xperifirm.com or something like that, flashtool can help with that also.
