first off quait is QUITE
another rom because you n6 slowed down? no. what you have to do is clean up your phone, thats why they usually slow down. you can go into your recovery and wipe your dalvik and app caches, then you can boot up and uninstall whatever apps you dont need and your big cpu hogging apps. then reboot. it should run faster after that. also, you can learn to adjust your cpu, and that includes learning about governers and schedulers. then you can setup your phone to run faster. but, if you do not like your rom, feel free to try pure android, as its pretty clean.
Thanks for your help.
In case I will chose to move to "pure android" - Is there any special directions between my version to the recent one?
Or just A factory reset and than flashing the zip file?

you can always try a "dirty" flash, that is without wiping anything, but make a nandroid backup in recovery before you try. that way, if something is messed up, you can restore your old rom. but yea, its always recommended to flash cleanly, with wiping data(and probably system) before flashing the new rom.
Hi,
As wiping system does not erasing the photos and it's even better to install only the necessery app's(I belive that i don't using 40%+- from my app's) - I would do a clean flashing.
You mentioned "pure android".
Did u meant to "Pure Nexus"?
Thanks!

lol, pure nexus, yes.. sorry
wiping system doesnt erase photos, no. but it does erase your rom, so you wont be able to boot up until you flash your new rom.
Oh yes - i know that.
After preforming the full wipe I will immediately flash the zip file of the Pure nexux rom(which will be stored in the memory).
So it would be fine, right?
As always - thank you for you kind help!

yup. remember to grab the gapps(google apps) and flash them as well, right after the rom.
you aren't running Xposed also are ya? I have noticed that running that with Gravity Box tends to be the cause of some of my slowdowns

The link is the latest version. Dan is waiting for the May-update. So keep an eye on the link.
The only thing I've changed is the kernel. Now using R44 of Franco.
Thank you @NLBeev

Search 'startup'.
With this app you can block apps from starting up when rebooting.
Give it a try and block apps and system apps you do not use.

The purpose of making it is to create a clean rom for people that might not want everything customised. eg. having a blank cardboard box. You can do anything with it.
A simple rom for simple people.
The improvements will be that it might be a bit faster and a bit more space.
i will in the future be creating a rom that is customized

First off, if you're an Android minimalist/purist, you're going to hate this ROM, so move on to another ROM, as it's not going to be your "cup of tea"
Introducing H Delicious 4.1.1
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL Memory Swap Available for this ROM HEREBuilt off of the JB leak OTA Blur_Version.98.4.7.MB886.ATT.en.US
Rooted, odexed, seriously debloated and themed.
Install Instructions:
MAKE SURE YOU'VE CREATED A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT ROM BEFORE PROCEEDING
You need to already be on the latest JB OTA to install. This has not been tested flashing with ICS!
ICS Version is in second post of this thread!
These instructions assume that you're rooted, have SS3 installed, and you know how to create a new ROM slot and install to that ROM slot. If you don't, please direct those questions in the appropriate thread, and not in here!
Boot into SS3, create a new ROM Slot.
Install from external SDCard
Reboot and enjoy!
What works:
Everything
What doesn't work:
Nothing
As always, the usual disclaimer:
If you bork your phone, consider it pilot error, as I take no responsibility whatsoever for what you do with your phone!
If you ask an inane question in this thread, ie: one that is obvious, or has already been answered in the OP, all you're going to see for a response is "Ignore List ", and you'll immediately be put on my ignore list, so I don't have to see, let alone read the drivel. I'm sorry that I don't have the patience of your mother or your babysitter.
We all know that our phones have very little storage space for creating ROM slots, so, if you want to consider this ROM for your daily driver, once installed, follow the directions in the second post for the "restore install method"
DOWNLOAD H Delicious 4.1.1 LINK
Mirror Download H Delicious 4.1.1[/URL]
Thanks to mattlgroff for the bandwidth and server space for hosting the files!
Thanks to Hashcode for SS3 and for fixing the WiFi issue with the script!

Rooting Utility Thread Here
You can install the Swap Internal & External Memory Script with this ROM found HERE
Download ICS 4.04 H Delicious
ICS 4.04 H Delicious Mirror Download
Download H Delicious 4.1.1 Restore File (to be used in SS3 using the "restore" function instead of flashing).
Instructions for using restore file:
Make a backup of your Stock ROM slot FIRST!
Extract folder from downloaded file.
Place folder found in the compressed file in your external sdcard "external1/TWRP/BACKUPS/whatever the next folder is named on your device"
Boot into SS3
Do a full wipe of ROM slot
Choose Restore from menu
Pick the Restore Folder "H-Delicious-1970-01-26--22-10-52"
Restore
Since it's apparent that most of you aren't reading the first post, here it is yet again:
First off, if you're an Android minimalist/purist, you're going to hate this ROM, so move on to another ROM, as it's not going to be your "cup of tea"
If you don't like it, don't use it! It really is that simple, no one is putting a gun to your head to flash this!
From the OP once again. This is what has been done. If you're expecting anything else, I suggest you build your own ROM.
Rooted, odexed, seriously debloated and themed.

Hi Guys.
I remember on the Nexus 5 people were kind enough to offer flashable zips to reduce the height of the nav bar.
Is anyone able to do this for the N6?
Would greatly appreciate this.
I know that there are a few ROMs that have this in the options. I'm running liquid smooth, and it has this, and so many more customizations on top of it. If you're going to try a ROM, give liquid a try.

Mostly all custom roms have this feature. If I was op I'd just switch to a custom rom because even if someone made the mod (I can do it) then when the next Ota comes it's going to fail because you did system mods and then you're going to wonder why the ota didn't work.
Just make life easy for yourself and flash a custom rom. Find the rom that's best for you not because of what someone offered you. Each rom has their own unique experience. Some may have everything, some may have minimal and just what you need. Depends what you want.

I hear what your saying mate but flashing a rom would mean having to resetup all my apps and everything else.
With a flashable zip i could carry on using my phone without having to redo everything.
When an OTA arrives i would start start from fresh again but life would be easy as i use Titinium Backup to restore apps and data.

You just contradicted yourself, like you said you'd eventually have to redo it anyways since you're invalidating your ability to flash OTAs.

What im saying is i wouldn't have to do the apps as Titanium would store my apps, but not system apps.
When flashing a different rom that is a no no. On stock it isnt a problem.

Titanium can be used to restore user apps on any ROM. In fact that is the recommended course of action. Its not a no no. Only restoring system data is a no no, which you shouldn't do stock or otherwise
As previously mentioned I have copied this thread to Android software development, so more people can learn about it. I have also moved my files and will now be uploading to Android File Host without mirrors, since they is a waste of time, AFH works great.
You can find the new thread here and subscribe to it:

I will not be updating this thread anymore so you won't miss anything. Please also post comments there since I won't be active here that much.
Another new thing is that I will be updating packages every two days, since firstly I don't have that much time available, but mostly because the apps itself don't get updated every day which means you are basically flashing the same apps twice.
That's about it, hope you join us on the other thread

Hey, thanks for your work.
I was wondering, tho, that if I have a previous version of GApps installed (Which I installed while installing the ROM), what is the use of these updates GApps? I can always update my apps through play store?

Yes, that's the best option. But let's say you have installed the pico package and now you want gmail as a system app. You can now dirty flash the micro package which will remove and replace all the installed apps and also install gmail and other apps from the micro package as system apps.

No difference other than that, right?
Like what about the apps that aren't available on the play store? Setup wizard for example? Do they need to be updated?

No, they're pretty much always the same, probably hidden somewhere in the pico package so if there was an update it would be installed anyway. The only other apps not available in the playstore would be Google Camera, Pixel Launcher and Pixel Icons (maybe others too).

Sorry, no. But I've checked everywhere and mostly people got "Don't ask for ETA" responses. Some people speculate that when LineageOS 15 gets more stable they will start building oreo opengapps. But those are just rumors.

I'd say wait a couple of minutes and if that doesn't work reboot into recovery, not system and reflash.
i'm getting stuck on "instalation complete" about 2m too , then TWRP auto reboot.

This happens on some roms, it's probably not the gapps's fault. After flashing remove the sim tray. Finish the setup and insert it again. DON'T insert it when it asks you to or it will force close again.
Since you've already flashed just remove the sim tray and reboot again.
Thank u
