A nice quality Car dash camera in up to 50 bucks? - Off-topic

Hi!
Looking to buy a car camera for the dashboard in up to 50$.
Searched and in some local forums here and found few recommendations about the:
VIOFO A118C
If anyone herard of it - is it the best for 50$?
Do you have a good expirience with your own (up to 50+-) car-cam?
Must say: during summer weather here is HOT (average temperatures in summer 31-32)
So if you heard that a spesific camera is able to survived - it would be the best.
Thanks!

anybody familiar with double din experience

I Have a 2004 sierra and I'm looking to get my first double din so I don't know too much about them or have any experience on how they work or there UI.
I was really into the Alpine line but a blogger or whoever on youtube said Alpine is laggy, and said that pioneer has a really good GPS system and is updated the most frequent. But to my understanding I thought pioneer was a lower brand and that Walmart sells pioneer product. I'm not looking to spend $300 and hope for the best and I'm not looking to overpay just for a name. I really don't mind paying 600 since you get what you pay for. Does anybody have any good recommendations on a model that has all the bells and whistles and 3 RCA connections?
GPS (not so important tho)
HDMI or some way to mirror. I could do Google Maps that way
Bluetooth streaming.
DVD player
3 rca outlets for amps
Not laggy
I did see some Android powered double dins but from what I read they were all Chinese brands.

I had the sbh80 for 2 and a half years before they broke. I can tell you one thing that I was fully satisfied with paying 115 pounds for them. The sound quality is great and the battery life is also good about 9 hours with music play back. They have great bass and can reach loud volumes. When you put the sbh80 on in the morning you will notice they are there but very quickly you will forget that you are wearing them, very comfortable around the neck and very light.
If i was in your position I would purchase the sbh80 if you can still get them and make sure you get them in black the white ones will get dirty.
I use these at the gym, and they are pretty good, with excellent battery life:

Thanks a lot Amar . You seem to be from Mumbai. Do those fall over the neck while running? I do a lot of commuting in Mumbai trains. I thought SBH 80 was launched in Sep 2015.

Nope I'm not from Mumbai. Huge giveaway in my reply to you was that I said 115 pounds indicating that I am from the uk. Anyway the sbh80 aren't really good for running they will start to slide around you neck and will eventually fall off. But if you want to use them for running you can get some earphone clips and attach them to the earphones and then clip the sbh80 to your shirt to stop it from sliding around.
Here is a picture of the clips I'm talking about:

Also the sbh80 were released in March 2014 here in the uk.
Get the Samsung Level U Pro or the new Active Noise Cancellation ones - superb
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I have the LG HBS-1100 tone platinums. I listen to audiobooks all night at (8-10hrs) everyday and they are awesome. The retractable earbuds alot better to deal with then the previous designs.
If you can get the Samsung Level U Pro in-ear phones, go for them. They work amazingly with the phone and the quality is superb. The Level app is awesome as well. It may end up slightly beyond your price range when on sale, but not by too much.
I just upgraded to the from the Level U pro to the ANC version, will write a review but in short made a superb product even better

Samsung level U pro are great.

Hey, new person buying a chinese unit (help please)

I don't know where to post this so I'm posting here due to the amount of other Erisin posts.
I'm in the middle of looking for a double din head unit for my Rav4, this Erisin ES4763C head unit has come up on eBay / Erisin website when googled.
After reading a lot of reviews its putting me off spending around £250 on this head unit with camera, reverse camera, DAB+ etc.
I'm after a head unit that will do almost everything and it seems to fit the bill.
I'm wanting to know are they easily fixable, are they able to refund money if said item is broken? I'll be paying via PayPal to get some protection.
I like to research before I plunge in. Youtube videos seem to have helped a bit on what they do and they seem ok.
Would you recommend buying one or should I stay clear? - Just don't want to end up looking like Homer Simpson in my car with separate things like dash cam, satnav and bluetooth headset. (Season 14, episode 20.) (google "homer simpson car gadgets" since im not allowed to post links yet.)
After a bit more research, I've come across Xtrons PCD67HGT that does all the same stuff as Erisin but without the TV option. (But who drives with TV on?)
I honestly don't know which head unit to go for.
I'm after a head unit that can do these:
DAB+
Dash cam record + speed
Sat Nav
Reverse camera
Hands free phone
Steering wheel control
WiFi + 4G (or connect to phones 4G. Is this possible? So I don't have to buy another sim card?)
DVD + mirroring for back passengers.
What head units are there for me? Vehicle is a RAV4 2004 gen 2 D-4D.
I have around £260 to spend.
Thank you.

honestly stay away from any HU from china... they are all headaches one way or another. Go with something expensive.. like alpines andriod unit.. your looking at 1200 CAN. but w9rth every dime i sure wish i did and i use to install them for a living.
I got a seicane s0480.. had a bad circuitboard they sent me a new one.. now i cant use my screen..
Eonon have issues they all do. Spend your money on something worth it with less hassle
Im using Xtrons TA701PL and it really runs like a charm.
Some of the most important setups are there, and its got expansion slots for everything and then some.
Sound is way better than i expected, perhaps some would argue that the amp is a little to the lower side, but its still able to blast out your speakers if you want to.
Ive tried a various amount of the unbranded CH HU´s from Ebay/Amazon, but nothing compares to Xtrons, i even had one of these unbranded ones having 20 mins to open spotify!, on my Xtrons, its there allmost instant.
Support wise, they do have a forum, but its one of those forums where you cant just post anyways, but they have to allow your post to be shown, so its 110% useless, BUT they do have a online chat, where you allso can leave an email, and they do respond pretty quickly.
I had 1 issue with mine, a faulty cable, and they sendt me a new one, at no charge.
Only real wierd issue software wise i have, is some apps seems to see BT as turned off, this seems to be a trend among Android HU´s, every single one ive tried has this, it can sometimes interferer with some apps that need BT to be activated.
I bought mine directly at Xtrons

Im close to buying the PA77HGTP, reverse camera, DVR camera comes to around £251. I'm close to clicking the button but something's putting me off. They recently brought out 8.0 with 4gb ram. But doesn't fit my car
There's no videos etc for showing the newer Xtrons working that I can find.
Hmm just don't know what to do.

Main question is: how good are you at DIY electronics? If not good at all you might want to consider buying a unit from a specialized company that will also set it up in your car.
After using several chinese HUs here are my findings:
All the units I have seen have low quality glossy LCD screens. If you live in a sunny area don't expect to see anything on the screen.
There is no QC at the end of the production cycle. That is why people receive units with non functioning screens or get weird errors from units with bad internal connections.
System architecture is unnecessarily complicated AND has serious limitations. For example you cannot: use a BT dongle or use a generic camera with the DVR app.
Bluetooth phone connections are generally of poor quality.
Some 4G modems work, others don't - no drivers.
Dual-zone (i.e having satnav on the HU screen and play a movie on the back screens) isn't generally available and you should specifically ask for that.
Steering wheel controls work as long as you have a resistive- type SWC. If not, additional modules are required.
Older units (with Android 4.4 or 5.1) have too little RAM and may become extremely slow.
With that said you can still find good value for money, just make sure you talk to the seller before paying anything and confirm every single feature for your specific car model. Chinese will answer any question before sale and pretty much disappear after sale.
I cannot comment on DAB+, never used it.

How to choose a car?

I work as a programmer on call, do maintenance and repair of computers in different regions. Need a car for travel, quite roomy and comfortable. Stopped on option Toyota Etios Liva. https://autoportal.com/newcars/toyota/etios-liva/ What do you think about this car?
If my topic does not fit the topic, please move to the desired section. Thank you very much.
I know several auto mechanics that rave about Toyota and say you can't go wrong with that brand.
Here in the United States Toyota & Honda hold their resale value much better than most other brands.
Get a Honda Accord. Thank me later
I would recommend a hybrid version of Toyota Camry. Big car with a v6 engine and the gas average is reasonable too.

Nah............ Get the 4 cylinder.
The Toyota Camry is probably the best all-around dependable midsize family sedan on the market today. The 4-cylinder version is the staple for that vehicle and they really got it down pat. It has plenty of power and it'll get you up onto the merging lane of the Interstate in no time flat. It has the pep and response of a 6 cylinder motor. It also gets 30 miles to the gallon. Stick with that tried and true 4 banger.
Been driving a 2017 Hyundai Sonata with 43000 miles on it for the last couple of weeks. I got to tell you, this is a great fantastic car.
Mobility is required in my work, so the car must be reliable, I live next to the forest, so the roads are unpaved, I need a 4x4 off-road car, someone can do something?
I can do lots of things.

I need help finding Bluetooth earbuds for pocophone?

I bought myself anker soundbud slim but they have1-3 seconds of delay on anything from youtube to VLC playback and that's horrible. It is the kind of delay with the video stopping for a second or two and then the sound is behind, not normal bluetooth delay.
I want to spend around 30 bucks but if there is really a huge upgrade in quality i can spend up to 50. Waterproof, comfort, battery life is more important than sound quality. If i could get the option to pair multiple devices at the same time that would be a killer addition too.
I am sorry if this is the wrong forums or already answered but looking for earbuds earphones and headphones didnt give returns in this sub forum.
Thanks in advance folks!
I have the Sabbat E12, i think i made great decision. Almost zero lag for videos, 6-7 hours of battery life when fully charged + the case keeps them juiced up for a whole week, super comfortable but they are only sweat proof. Sound quality is excellent. I got them for 55$ a bit over your budget but they are awesome. Look em up, reviewers are raving about them.
Cheaper option maybe QCY 2 or something. People also like those. Can't say cuz i don't have them.

TYVM i will look into them.
I managed to get it fixed for a couple of hours by clearing all data usage and restart but i really cba to do that once a day.
Hey I have bluedio TE bluetooth buda and for the money they sing really nice, battery life is ok. As for build quality and stuff, I ride in then daily on my fixed bike, no matter the weather and vast amounts of sweat I produce. For the price they get a recommendation from me.
Xiaomi Haylou GT1
I've never had an issue with my anker buds, unless yours are faulty then I don't think the issue is with that model in particular.
Wavefun flex 2 on aliexpress are best
Love my xiaomi airdots (not the pro version they look ridiculous). Everything's working fine with poco and the sound quality is excellent. You just need to fine just the right ear bud so the sound doesn't leak out. I used the biggest one in my ears and it sounds fantastic. And I can understand a thing or two about sound quality my main headphones are the audio technica m50x
