My Galaxy S6 USB is busted and I do not have an AT&T sim card is there any other options? Another problem is that I am not in the US so going to store to have it flashed or fixed is not an option.

Hi I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 a couple of days ago, it is an international factory unlocked version, now my problem is that when I inserted my new micro SIM it doesn't detect it, one thing I noticed though is that aparently Im using and Orange ROM so I dont know if that's causing the problem, the version of android is JB 4.1.2 the latest build, so what do I do? (Note: I cutted my SIM to make it a Micro SIM but Im sure I cutted it right it fits perfectly and I didn't cut the chip) please help me with this I want to use my new phone

try another sim and see if the problem is gone if another sim card works its ur sim
try another Rom and see if the problem is gone
and also check the IMEI and also tell me where u bought ur device
and if none of this then its the sim tray
Thanks for the reply I'll try everything however don't you think that its strange that the rom is not allowing my micro sim to be recognized? Is there any way I can check if it is truly unlocked? My IMEI numbers match perfectly ( the one you see trough android and the one you see on the back of the phone)

there is always that problem which u can't predict in android
i don't know of such way but if your not check galaxy sim it unlocks the sim
well that is good cause if the IMEI didn't match on both means someone changed it and it is illegal to do so

just recently bought a used note 4 and I'm experiencing random reboots/restarts. i bought the phone thinking it was a n910t for tmobile but after checking the IMEI one site says it is a n910c and another says n910t . the phone was working perfectly fine until i inserted my sim card and did a factory reset. i tried with and without my sd card, Bluetooth on/off and even in safe mode. im new to flashing firmwares or doing anything like that but i do have a level of common sense.
what are my options wth the phone? should i put a n910c firmware and see what happens?
Hello to Everybody,
3 days ago I bought in Hong Kong a new Samsung Galaxy Note 5, model N920R4, I think US Cellular. The Phone worked correctly with all the Sim Cards, but now, after a Soft Brick and a new Flash with Odin of a R4 Rom, the phone don't take the signal. He ask me to put the Pin Code but after that No Network
In the First Start, after a Flash with Odin, in the windows "Activate Device" I see a message... "Unsupported Sim card" . Maybe was Unlocked and with a new Flash I relock the Sim Card?
I tried with Chinese Sim card and Italian, the both worked correctly before. I'm sure that is not an HW issue.....but how I can fix?
Thank You very much
Ok, I think that my phone is not Locked. But there is somethings that don't allow it to have service. In the menu setting I can select LTE/GSM network but don't work. My MSL/SPC is 000000.... Can be this the problem?
Thank you guys

Hello everyone. While I'm not new to visiting this website, I am new to posting here, so forgive me if I make a mistake.
My S5 doesn't have an active at&t Sim card, and before you say to use Odin to downgrade to PA2, or to go to Best Buy/ Samsung Experience or whatever it's called, the USB port on my phone is broken (currently I charge it wirelessly). My S5 is on PA5, and I would like to update it to the latest version of Marshmallow (PH2 I believe).
Can anyone tell me where I could get the files to do so via the recovery menu? Or even better, can someone provide them? I'd really appreciate it.
If not, borrowing a Sim card is still an option, but it's gonna be a long while before I can do so.
As of now you must downgrade to PA2 first. For now this is the only way.
Your best bet is to find someone with ATT sim card and use it to OTA
