Sir my phone from USA

Unlocking the bootloader will neither void your warranty nor affect your ability to receive updates.

Depending on where you purchased it, consumer protection law may trump that.

About Bootloader?

Q. If I flash the stock rom then will it make bootloader locked again?
Q. If not, I tried the Easy Unlock Tool to make the bootloader locked and it made the status
of the device to relocked instead of locked. Is there any way to make the status to locked instead of relocked?
NO.. You cannot get "locked" again

Nah, people/companies accept it, as long as you haven't damaged it hardware wise or hardbricked it.

You will only need service if there is a hardware problem, like display breaks or speakers stop working or something like that..
Apart from that, we are here to help

[Q] Re-Lock Bootloader

I was wandering if there is a way to relock the bootloader, so if my phone bricks, or presents any sort of problems in the future, i can still get the warranty support
If you request an unlock code from Motorola then no, even relocking won't help. If you unlock the bootloader on a non Developer Edition you void your warranty.

Yes, requesting the code voids the warranty.
****, now that everything its ****ed up, i might as well as unlocking this piece
Even if you do/can relock the bootloader it has a separate flag to indicate the warranty is void in the phone.

You can relock your bootloader by running fastboot oem lock but this would not restore your warranty. The phone would still show as re-locked instead of locked, so they would still know that it has been unlocked and re-locked. Afaik, it would also still show the Bootloader Unlocked Warning Message even if u re-lock it.

I don't think just requesting the code would void your warranty.

Simply requesting an unlock code will void your warranty.
See below.

Don't be surprised if/when they deny your request to exchange your phone.

Sorry, your warranty disappeared the moment you sent in the bootloader unlock code request.
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a
You have only yourself to blame. Once you get the unlock code, your device is no longer covered by the Motorola warranty; in other words, please don't blame us if things go wrong, even if they appear unrelated to unlocking the bootloader.

From the legal terms link:
5.The*following*applies*to*all*devices,*except*for*Developer*Edition devices:
Obtaining an unlock code voids all warranties.*Once*you*get*the*unlock*code your device is no longer covered by the Motorola warranty,*or*any*other*warranty*provided with the device. Neither Motorola,*nor your wireless carrier shall*have*any*duty*to provide warranty or customer support for unlocked devices.

You do not lose your warranty on these any more. Moto posted this in November.

Why cant you root with HTCDev?
im not sure that the warranty will still be okay if we unlock it
plus the phone is from orange and it might not work

you will loose guarantee either way as the bootloader will show as tempered. More chance to keep it valid if you use the tools HTC provided.
Orange should work just fine. Just try...
On another note i sent 2 phones for repair to HTC "unlocked" and they never charge me for the repair.
yes, i was thinking of only gettin root and not unlocking bootloader

You can undo the root and unlocked bootloader, before you send it to HTC. If you cannot undo because you have too big problems with the phone (frozzen phone,...) they cannot controll it either.

yes you can undo and get back to full stock but hboot will show "Relocked" so they will know you mess with it.

Manifacturer warranty is not lost unlocking bootloader.
It's obvious that if you brick flashing something wrong.. warranty will not help you.
