Hi,
I am considering Ascend P7 as a new mobile phone. As I saw here, there is an option to root the phone which is a must for me.
I don't see any custom ROMs here. Looks like you are using only the official ROM.
Can someone explain the situation?

Both are stable. The HRT rom is deodexed, the other isn't. They are compatible with single sim phones. Don't know about dual sim though. Don't forget to backup before you try.

This is the ROM as originally developed. It's fully deodexed and not password protected. All of the tweaks are in Chinese. For English translations you need to substitute 2 apks which are here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6QnIbFOPM4pNEsxbjVTRmI4dzg&usp=sharing
So, backup your phone, flash the zip, then using a file manager such as FX substitute the 2 apks and reboot your phone.
There is a later version of this ROM (V4.0) but the only extra tweaks relate to resizing the nav bar and waking the phone using the vol button. The author of this ROM will probably release a new version soon which will incorporate EMUI3.0 and various tweaks.

Can anyone help me with a custom stock rom for p7-l10 emui 2.3 or 3.0 zip type?(install with twrp)
I try to flash my phone and I erase all.
I have been searching for a custom rom for my asus zenfone 4 a400cg but never found one.
Asus has released the source code. So can someone with this phone help me to build a cyanogenmod 11 build for this phone as the stock asus zenUi sucks.

First of all zen ui does better than most UI. Believe me. i previosly owned a sony lww and zenfone UI and features are a heaven in itself
coming to zenfone 4. it is currently running smoothly is it not? Once Devs compile a working kernel and cwm, we can start porting.

The performance is good but many apps dont work on the zenui and as the name suggests, it is not a ui like miui or something themed...
Its actually a heavily customized rom.
Not jus visually but also internally...
For EX: many xposes modules dont work and so does gravity box[some features work though].
So an aosp or a cyan is most required

if it was that easy it would have already been made. it took around 6 months to make a working recovery on zenfone 4.

Actually the most important is to know the partitions of your device and some useful information about the board. Like cpu architecture, boot partition size, the cmd line of your kernel, the recovery image partition, the system image partition and then you can start adding wifi, bluetooth drivers etc...
I'm actually waiting for cyanogenmod rom for zenfone 4 a400cg stock Rom suck and it doesn't have good ram management plus min clock speed is 800mhz when in standby. Waiting for dev do the good work
I'm also a zenfone 4 user and i don't like ZenUi too.
So, if u want to flash your device with Stock rom made by Google then u can join me here and also on my Facebook page, "All About Tech".

If you have backup copy of Zefone4 system.img then you can flash it back and get working.
Hello, i have zenfone 4 a 400cg with changed motherboard due to which i am unable to unlock bootloader and install cyanogenmod on my device. Can anyone help in unlocking my bootloader from another method ?? The official apk shows network error due to changed motherboard. Plzzz help ... !!!!
Its working now, Asus Solved the servers problem therefore now u can Unlock your bootlader and Enjoy CyanogenMod 12.1.
CM11 is it available to download....

Anyway this ROM as great future ahead (Intensive Mahdi ROM user)
To be be a keeper it just needs wake with volume buttons and ability to change clear recents button position.
BTW, I tried with elementalX 2.03 and everything went OK.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature: no Google search bar in recent menu (other ROMs have it).

You have to use Google now launcher to have google search bar on recent menu. This rom have launcher3 by default, install Google Now Launcher and remove launcher3 from /system/app using root explorer or TWRP file manager.
Maybe you can give issues to euphoria OS thread on Google+ Bugs section added to OP

i use it as daily driver since today and camera is working fine (thats true i'm uploading a video recorded with my Nexus 5 with this rom )
Sound is working fine (note i failed to install Viper4Android)
Everything is working fine i didn't noticied any bugs for my part.

For now i have cm11... 4.4.4
The Kernel has to be modified to support a higher android version (MM and Nougat)
So for now i made cm11...
There's just one catch: It couldn't boot at first due to drivers...
When i use Galaxy Core Prime's drivers... it boots.
So i need permission from the galaxy core community to use their drivers on our tab...

with the current setup and kernel,it is impossible to port 7.0 roms from jiayu s3 in the way 6.0 roms are being ported.however developers are working on it and you can expect it one day.

I made a kernel from Jiayu S3 (built in drivers from K3note there). There are problems with a sound (I added the tfa driver to a kernel - perhaps that I missed that). I added CAM CAL similar to source code 6.0 - but cameras don't give operation signs.
Here in this post on 4pda (I have no access to spread links to XDA - I have no 10 posts)
At the moment I download the source code (in the form of archive). on Github didn't begin to load.

I've found a 7.1 ROM here- "www(dot)needrom.com/download/aosp-8/comment-page-5/#comment-303899". It works fine for me.
But some issues found-
1. DT2W not works.
2. Rill not works.
3. Bluetoothe.
4. Notification light ignite randomly.
5. Auto Rotation is so logy.
6. Flashlight not works.
7. Camera.
primarily above are diagnosed to me.
Excluding the above it works fine for me. Looks so nice. Works smooth on wifi.
Waiting for the next stable update.

How to update N
Finally, I flashed this ROM and my world, it's so smooth and has a great battery. The modem helped improved my LTE speed on band 7 will have to wait for a more stable one but this is a great step in the right direction.
Kudos to all who ported this ROM and fixing some bugs so far.
I did installed 7.1 asop rom in my k3 note.It was showing as invalid imei.I tried to change the imei no using chamelephon(imei change) app.But the phone shows no sim card.I also flashed the Universal 3g/4g fixing zip using twrp.But it's not working.Please help me to fix imei and also nvram problem
