I'm now on B177 and i can't factory reset via command *#*#2846579#*#*, it fails at the end of the process.
But if i factory reset form system setting I'm able to.
First question: Some one cal tell me the difference between factory reset via *#*#2846579#*#* and via settings?
Second question: Some one detected any but in this new version?
Thanks
How is your battery life with B177? I made the update a couple of days ago and I have a lot of battery drain. I think I will try to downgrade to B114 in which the battery life was pretty good.

As an heavy user - meaning 3 push mail accounts, social network notifications, whatsapp viber and so on, i cant complain.
For me it's like - Can i get home without using the charger? It's all good then!
Still no way for twrp and root on B177?

My friend is getting this message popping up about 5 times a day. Any ideas? He is not a root and ROM guy. It may have happened after he sent his phone in for repairs to Samsung.

is it booting to this screen automatically? because this is the download mode which you can get by pressing the volume down+power+home button and if you press volume up on this screen you will get to download mode. If this is happening automatically then it is an issue with USB port. Turn off the phone take out the battery and clean the USB contacts. there is a video on youtube for how to clean usb port. search for it. Send it to service center if still persists.

Touch sensitivity increased. Nice.
I received it a week ago. Touch screen accuracy is much better now!
Not sure what variant I have, English/US I assume, got a similar OTA from B002 to B003. Similar vague notes, slightly smaller at ~330MB.
Just received the OTA update for my BTV-DL09 C100 as well, updating from B006 to B009, so now also the LTE version is "up to date"... [emoji2]
I'm curious about screen accuracy improvement! [emoji106]

Hi, if I let this happen, will it mess my unlocked bootloader and rooted state?
Anyone hear anything on updates for the US BTV-W09? I can't believe that this tablet wouldn't also get an update to N.

Okay so my honor 5c wont boot because this error.
i think this happened because i relocked it.
didnt have any custom recovery installed tho.
- I cant enter fastboot.
- i cant enter erecovery.
- My screen wont turn off.
- When battery is empty i plug charger it will start and turn off again.
- and i only have 2gb sd cards if needed.
i tried to do fastboot when i plug charger in but that wont work.

Hi,
I finally unbricked my phone by forcing installation of update Full-OTA B357 from SD card.
Here is the URL I followed :
http://www.stechguide.com/honor-5c-b357-nougat-update/
In step 1 just replace the step with *#*#2846579#*#* by a cold start while pressing up and down volume keys.
For step 2 you can proceed like indicated.
My phone is back! I was able to install B359 right After using OTA notification.

Hi. After an upgrade to emui 9.0 and Android pie 9.0 everything was pretty darn smooth.
That is, until, my bank updates their app. Then this:

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
However, this Phone is clean. As you know you must have the damn bootloader code from Huawei to modify this thing, I never got that far, so I could never do anything to the Phone.
The old app works just fine, and due to my work i have an app for atleast 7 other Banks as well, so im assuming this bank (my primary bank) has done a boo boo and ****ed up their root check somehow.
The bank of course doesnt believe me.
My question is: What could possibly give this app a false positive root check? Do you guys know about any settings that might trigger it?
Im hoping I dont have to factory reset this thing.

99% sure you can't uninstall or move the about phone setting. As it's part of Android for the a2. Unless you can do something with root to remove and move it..
