If by that you mean you want to install other g2 variant rom to your verizon variant, then i prefer you try installing custom rom for better experience. If you are trying to get rid of stock rom due to battery issues, then make sure you disable all bloadware, use greenify and amplify and you should be good to go. Let me know if you need further assistance.
Change from vzw to t-mobile
My phone is not rooted yet.. )need to find an way to do it. (flash drive ?) Anyways.. When I put my t-mobile sim in it, and change the apn and net work mode it works fine. I would like to get rid of the VZW firmware and install t-mobile for it.. will this brick my phone. I was thinking I could put in t-mobile marshmallow 6 and be good to go. any ideas ?

Hi, I was told to post my question here. I bought my Note 3 with AT&T but switched to T-mobile with sim unlock. The device runs fine. My device is currently running N900A....NC2 (4.4.2). It is rooted, however not much has been done after rooting. I'm able to download OTA update. However, the installation fails after 25%. It is unclear if it is because I'm no longer with AT&T or is it because my device is rooted. I tried calling T-mobile but didn't get much help from them. What are my options at this point? I'm pretty new at this so any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Your update fails because you were rooted. You'll need to Odin back to stock NC2 before you can take the OTA. Everything you need to accomplish what you're trying to do is located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703006.
The NC2 files are near the bottom of the first post.

Hi, recently i managed to brick my Korean F340L G Flex so bad. I've tried almost everything software wise.
-The solution:
I'm planning to change the logic board from a Sprint LS995 model. I think it will work ok. Of course I'll have to some how get an unlock code in order to use it in Greece where I live.
I've seen in ebay some users providing for a small amount of money this code.
So, what do you think. Will it work as I'm thinking? Any comments, suggestions, guides welcome. Thanks
Here is a short story:
"Hello, to all, I'd like to share my experience and problem with my LG G Flex, as a last hope to find a solution to unbrick it.
I know that the talk here is about G2's, but I saw many users reviving their Flexes with OP's method.
So here is what I did in steps:
1)I rooted my Lg g flex F340L
2)New OTA, downloaded, but failed to install after reboot. The message was no OTAs for rooted devises
3)Tried to unroot, but with no success. Still no installation of OTA.
4)Found, and flashed the stock F340L rom , (had an EFS backup), from another user here(.tot file), with LGFlashTool.
5)SIM card was not recognized any more (Greece, Vodafone), so no calls. Did all the updates, but no SIM, still.
6)Hard reset, still no SIM.
7)Decided to flash stock F340K kdz rom, and install CWR. All good, SIM detected, OTA downloaded, but after reboot stuck at CWM nenu. Whatever I do just CWM.
8)No download mode, or usb support, just an LG FLEX unknown device. Got some drivers only to be seen as lenovo ADB device.
9)I found the test point on the motherboard and short circuit it. Got a qhsusb_bulk(qualcomm 9008) under COM ports, but not on a specific port.
10) No flash capability, and no partitions to try and flash the 10 or so, images. Ubundu, no luck with the partition detection either.
11)After many reboots and button long presses the CRW came back...again
Well as I can see, there is not so much support for the korean variants and I might have destroyed my phone. So, I need your advise in changing the motherboard. I found M/B's from AT&T and Sprint variants, to install to my F340L. I think it will work. After I will purchase an unlock code from lets say ebay to unlock it to all GSM networks ( I live in Greece).
What is CRW or CWR?
Are you referring to CWM? The recovery?
If you can boot into cwm your phone has a chance to be saved no need to change the mb.
By the way sprint doesnt give out unlock codes like att. There is an specific process to sim unlock sprints variant.

Yes sorry, CWM I was refering to. Well, since I have no other option at the moment. I'll try to find that specific process you've mentioned when I get the board(help or hint welcome)
As, for the M/B change, no system partitions are recognized in order to flash individual .images to unlock them.
If you can access CWM you dont need to flash the .img files for your phone. Instead you could flash a stock zip through adb sideload or flash twrp through sideload too. Twrp allows MTP use so someone using an F340K can help you with a stock backup and you can unbrick instead of changing board.

The only stock image I have is in .TOT file for the L variant. I also have stock .kdz file for the K variant. I can sideload to /sdcard/0/ directory only, if that helps. I'll try to find twrp.zip and try it. But the main problem is to find stock rom in .zip format.
I've managed to install twrp 2.8.0.0...

Ok, this will take time friend.
I will try to make you a flashable zip of stock F340L KK.
Maybe it will take me some 4 or 5 hrs.

yes use to unroot
Is the Cricket version ROM better in any way than the AT&T version? Maybe much less bloat? AT&T's crap is just ridiculous.
Does this flash on AT&T version too? I might go to Cricket after a month or two as AT&T is just too expensive.

I don't know if its any better but I can confirm it doesn't have all the ATT bloatware which is a plus.
I just flashed this to an AT&T S6 using odin and it flashed fine and seems to be working great.
Device Status: Official
Update: I can also confirm that I was able to root with pingpong root with this rom

Thanks for the update. I have AOE2 version right now with most bloat removed, but the phone feels it's slower than before. Opening task switcher takes about 1 second to load up. Of course the battery life is better and doesn't heat up as much as the pre-AOE2 version. I didn't try the Cricket ROM, but I may try it in the future.
Doesn't Cricket lack voice over LTE though?
since we have the cricket version , im pretty sure were not getting android M update seeing as s5 and s4 still haven't gotten the lollipop OTAs on cricket. any way around it or maybe we can just flash the international 5.2 version?

Have you tried it? I'm getting a Cricket S6, but it's unlocked, and I'm using it on AT&T, and I'm considering trying this.
I have a g920i that I am using on cricket. Does anyone know if this odin will flash on that model?
Thank you for this, my phone is up and running again after about a week of it being bricked. I only have 2 issues. First, my galaxy is not recognizing my sim card.. second, I get this pop up saying "unfortunately, IMS Service has stopped" which pops up every second or 2. My phone is basically unusable, ive tried reflashing stock firmware again and it just comes up again. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Could installing the Cricket bootloader on the AT&T variant unlock it like the Cricket version?
Also: Does anyone know if it is possible to install the AT&T G920A or Cricket G920AZ firmware to an AT&T G925A edge version? Basically, if you don't care to have the edge functionality would it work?
I found my answer to the second part:

Ok so just double checking... which file are you supposed to run and open in Odin? Isnt it the AP file?
There is an update from 7-15-15. The newest firmware is: G920AZTUU2AOF3
Has anyone taken the update?
Description: 129.10MB
-Find My Mobile and Reactivation Lock enhancements
-Android OS security enhancements
If I'm not mistaken, isn't the OF3 update, the one that does not have root? And there is currently no way to downgrade after taking it?

I am not sure. I haven't tried it to see. I'm actually running Xtrestolite right now on my G920AZ. I ended up having to flash back to stock at one point and noticed the update.
There is probably a difference between the G920A update and the G920AZ one that I was referring to.
Hi
I have a LS995 from Sprint. i am outside US and was to using it on GSM NW. bought phone from market as used one. It was working fine and I got and Update, it was "LS995ZVB" I think as shown in recovery mode after installation which corrupts for some reason. I search and found solution to recover Stock ROM TOT. I have done that and phone becomes fine but SIM was blocked. I again search and find a solution by copying "carrier" or "property" folder to my phone it also works as I am not updating from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2. if I upgrade it again crash. If first I upgrade and then try to copy the folders on reeboot the folder were deleted by phone it self. I need solution.
Please help

I can confirm that ZVA works with the carrier folder replacement mod for GSM use. I would TOT ZVA(4.4) or stick with 4.2 . there isn't much diffrence in the Roms anyway.
Turn off the updater by renaming it as a backup, and don't update!
Knok on won't work on 4.2
Knok on 'double tap' wont work on 4.2. That's why I have to update, there is also a issue of crashs as I tried 4.2 for few days

Then find the TOT or flashable ZVA (4.4), knockon works, and I have had no crashing at all.
Tot 4.4 for LS995
Anyone help me find TOT 4.4 for LS995 or flashable ZVA. I tried but no luck.
I NEEED HELP. After installing the rom I think it installed some sort of radio image or something. Because afterwards I couldn't use data. Even after going back to stock. Even tried factory reset. With ZERO LUCK. It detects the sim card. It even reads the contacts. It says it has bars. But it says emergency calls only. It says No service. Next thing I will try is getting a new sim. I'll keep this updated. I hope that fixes it.
