Xposed:
Lollipop: Go to [OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop/Marshmallow [Android 5.0/5.1/6.0] It is more complicated than installing it for KitKat. You need a custom recovery and you have to flash xposed-v**-sdk2*-arm.zip file and clean your cache from recovery after flashing !!! Install XposedInstaller_***.apk afterwards.

This ROM is awesome works well, The bugs are Incall audio and Camera, but is sad to say bit I got to deadlocks today, by the time the deadlock were happening my phone started to heat like the hell

Not sure if troll or not. He obviously used zim's rom to port MaxiCM and doing so does not necessarily fixes the bugs.
For their differences, I suggest you do your own research.

Hmm, 2 days and no single bug. 58900 ANtutu
edit: Just dirty flashed new version over old one, deleted davlik - First boot created davlik cache than after creation is done one SOFT reboot than when rom load one System ui has crashed and press ok on that, Rom working as should. Than i turned off again and next boot is without any error and even that davlik cache thing after second restart finished job, just like on Cyanogen mod original when you dirtyflash rom.
btw, before this rom i have clean cyanogen mod since almost first release and dirty flashed since february at least 20+ roms one over another and no single fail there. I make backup of that rom and install this, because i wanted more tweaks
This is very good and fast as original cyanogen, maybe even a little faster. There is a little flick on screen on some widget when refreshing them and loading Viber..

EDIT 2: There is a governor BUG. When you change from Balanced to Quick, nothing happen, but when you change from quick to Performance than from performance to Quick, than it`s ok. Because on quick one core should stay non-stop on 1190 Mhz rest cores are offline if no used.
I`m using Quick all the time and phone is super smooth and it`s very little impact on baterry life.

Good morning guys. I'm going crazy. With firmware-based CM 13 (Resurrection, AICP) the device must always be in boot when I make a call. I installed the modem OJ3 but have not solved the problem. You have a solution? TW 6.0 S5 I have no problem. I would like to install this rom but so is unusable.

Go to sammobile and install latest official firmware with latest modem i think is DOL2 and you will get all new stuff needed for CM 13 to work. Than Full reset phone, than install CF-Auto-Root-ks01lte-ks01ltexx-gti9506.zip with odin and i think you can install any CM 13 ROM after that. Before install is recomended to remove battery from phone, wait 20-30 sec put it back than flash new rom. In very rare situation turning off the phone don`t help so remove bat.

AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

2. Hotspot (just connected a device.didnt test transfer like xender)
2. RIL (Calls ,SMS, Data). Didn't test dual sim. Able to set to 2g only mode.
3. Multi Window
4. Root (Flashed Magisk 12) edit:- lost root afer some reboots. May be after setting magisk busybox.)

7. Mic ( tested by voice calls and WhatsApp voice notes)

What's Not working .

Camera and H/W decoding should done by backporting. Like M.A.D. Team they uses Snap Camera with worth libs Jiayu S3 has no permanent perfect device tree but they manage it. They uses their own kitkat based rom to nougat of RC Builds
Libs and init.c will take their further instead.

Edit: Fixed my APN issue, my problem happens on all Oreo ROM's not just this one.
Same stupid problem with APN settings as other Oreo Rom's for me. Arrrrg

How come OP recommend a gapps and you recommend a different one? If you face issue with the one recommended by OP, it would be better to elaborate instead of just recommending another one. My opinion

OP make this post yesterday morning.. at that time Official OpenGapps are available for download but still it has issue while flashing from TWRP as tested & confirmed by many people on this Forum (Currently official OpenGapps are not available for download)... I don't know if OP tested Official Gapps or not. but the Gapps from above link are working & from trusted source..

short review
its pure aosp ofc dont expect customizations at all.
its not super smooth plz dont think after flashing this you will get pixel smoothness or oreo and nougat smoothness.
didnt face any "MAJOR" bugs bluetooth works so does wifi
camera is ok works for the most part but mostly crashing installed gcam seems ok didnt try getting in the settings tho.
all pie perks present
battery page is weird like I used the device for 30mins but still says screen on time was 0 mins also i dont know oif the mobile standby drain is still present because the battery usage page is prolly broken
the device gets hot after some time expect these things from alphas gapps worked fine no issues.
otherwize i would say the hard part is done its booting with everything working now its just optimizations with custom kernels and also i forgot the button backlight is not working.
