You'll need to be much more specific. What do you mean insert into a full format? Convert into full format? Insert into a document? Both?
Should be a fairly straightforward answer, if you could just clarify what your asking.

If you want the date in a much more human-friendly format instead of the built in %DATE variable, you can do a Variable Convert and convert %TIMES and choose "Seconds to Medium/Long Date Time". Choose an output variable (maybe %date) and then you'll get the current date in a neat format.
i want to be able to somehow paste or insert the current date into any field where i am typing.
i want two specific things.
one is a long, full description of the date
ex,
17:1 PM Monday, May 23, 2016-05-23
and the other would be a short and concise versoin like,
20160523
just for year, month, and day.

Basically after an app that can convert JPEG/TIFF to IFF image files. I realise from some google searching that IFF is widely out of date and appears to be an old file format but i have some bespoke software at work that only accepts iffs.

XnView It won't let you do any editing but it's free and will convert to virtually any format out there and offers some batch operations.
Guys with all the talking of users trying to steal your hard work and trying to resell them, you might want to look into getting this software. and be sure to pass this on to as many users here who post pictures of the hard work.
http://tzechuen.wordpress.com/2008/04/12/adding-watermark-to-your-images-windows/
Upon launching the application, drag all your images into the white box area of the app. Choose the ‘General’ tab under ‘Convert Settings’ and choose your desired Output format (or leave it at default as jpg). Choose your output folder - this is where your watermarked images are gonna be put in.
Choose the ‘Watermark’ tab. Choose image and then Browse… and choose your watermark file. Then choose the preferred alignment (Top left, right, bottom left, right, center etc). After you’re done setting up, click the CONVERT button.Your watermarked/resized images should be in the folder that you’ve assigned the app to save in.
Hope you find much use with this tech tip

At home screen, under the weather panel, as you know there's date. It looks as "Mon, Jan 3" , but I want it to look like "Monday, Jan(or full name January) 3 2011" . There's a tweak option in Advanced Config program, but it doesn't work (there are some different layouts in a drop down menu and a "change" button right beside it, you can choose the layout but change button is inactive). So, I think I expressed my request throughly, is it possible to do this? How?
What values do you have under:
HKLM\\nls\overrides\SLDte
HKLM\\nls\overrides\SSDte
Thanks mate, you're the only one who rushes to help me all the time. Before placing this topic, I found something about changing the date format (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5713475&postcount=9) , and applied them but nothing changed, it was about changing the values under the ones you mentioned. Now, answers to your question,
SLDte value = dd MMMM yyyy dddd (actually this wasn't the default one, it's the format I'd like)
SSDte value = dd / MMMM / yyyy dddd (same like above again, not the default one)
Try this:
HKLM\\nls\overrides\SLDte
dddd, dd MMMM yyyy
No, it didn't work. Still same format.
Normally, you can not change this format using the registry. At least, in WWE versions. It is most likely preset somewhere in binary files. In addition, using of customized date formats for SSDte or SLDte values may cause problems with HTC Calendar items (appointments, tasks and so on) as HTC Calendar only accepts particular formats. However, if you use localized version of Windows Mobile there may be more opportunities to tweak the phone's interface. I have seen some threads on the xda-developers site containing some tips and tricks on this topic.
Yes Janissl, you're right. Yesterday, after I made some change in SSD and SLD, I realized that SMS's dates began to look weird. So I changed it back to it's default value, now SMSs are normal. And I decided not to tweak this kinda registry things, since it could cause to force a hard reset.
Maybe you can do it safer by using ACT:

It's written under "Update Description".

I already tried that at first hand, it had an extra settings as More Settings at menü, and there TouchFLO 3D settings. It looks like, you could do this date format there, but as I mentioned at my very first message, the "Change" button is unusable.
Good Evening Guys,
A few quick questions for you this Wednesday evening; looking to make some customizations to my Windows Phone. I would like to alter the word "Goodbye" when the phone turns off to display alternative text.
Question 1: Is anyone familiar where these settings are stored in the root offhand?
Question 2: Can anyone confirm if this is simply text or a prerendered image?
Questin 2: Has anyone ever tried anything like this before?
Best Regards!
Device Type
Almost forgot:
Nokia 1020
OS:8.0.10521.155
Um... we can't even made the smallest of changes to the Lumia file system (outside of the user documents/media folders and the app folders) or registry. Trying to change system stuff like this is pretty out of the question.
Since you ask, though: to the best of my knowledge, nobody has found that even on the Samsung Ativ phones, for which we have most of a working "jailbreak".
The string that is displayed is probably pulled from a .MUI file.
Thanks for the feedback guys. If I make any headway, I will post back. Would love to have the device power down with "Will I dream?" from 2010 The Year We Made Contact.
That would indeed be cool. You've got an uphill battle, though. If it is, in fact, a .MUI file then it's probably signed (MUIs are technically DLLs, and although they are usually just loaded as resource files they can contain executable code so I expect Microsoft signs and enforces signature checks on them). Thus even if you get filesystem write access, it may not work.
A true custom ROM, where you could remove the signature check requirements, would probably work. That's no simple thing to ask for, though!

What is free time for if not to obsess over little niggly things? Thanks for the feedback
Hi,
I'm trying to create a small DB, at first i thought about using Sqlite, but since my Xposed model doesn't always have context, it seems impossible.
So i thought using XML file (eventually, my DB contains only one table, each row has 2 values). but it seems there' s no good way to manage the XML file (i need to read & write every once in a while)...
What is the best practice?
Thanks,
I don't think there's a "best practice" – you'll just need to see what you want and what's best suited for your use case.
You could try getting a context using AndroidAppHelper.currentApplication().
