Unfortunately you require the horrible Samsung Kies software (from their website) to update the phone firmware. Mine is updated to JM1 but it seems almost random as to which phones receive updates, my first UK based SGS updated, but the replacement from Portugal did not.

I'm comparing a Brazilian GDR2 (8.0.10328.78) update for the Ativ S phone.
I see there're 2210.13.7.1 firmwares while I have the 0424.13.10.1 version.
Is there a way to get this firmware or the complete GDR2 ROM?

Edit: Well...what do you know... I've been using the wrong GDR2 version all along. Using the "correct one" (from Italy), the firmware version seems OK and I'm updating via OTA to GDR3 as I type... finally! :victory:
I'm on D5833. Currently i'm on 1288-7054 Singtel SG firmware and it happens that the firmware makes my phone ineligible for Playmemories Online because of geoblock or something. Can anyone suggest which firmware is good? Thanks!
