LeEco's Le 1s Eco leaves the competition in dust! - Off-topic

It has been a great quarter for smartphone fanatics with the launch of numerous sought-out phones in 2016. Sifting through the recent launches, I decided to freeze on two phones which were within my budget range – The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016)and the Le 1s Eco. I decided to compare the phones purely on the basis of their tech specs since the Le 1s Eco is yet to be sold in the market (the Flipkart flash sale launch date is mentioned as May 12, 2016).
Beginning with the processors, the Le 1s Eco has a Helio X10 1.8Ghz- True Octa Core which is a high-end chipset whereas the Samsung Galaxy J7 – 6 possesses a 1.6 GHz + S5E7870 (Exynos 7870), Octa Core, a mid-range chipset. In terms of memory, the Le 1s Eco offers a significantly higher 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM as opposed to its competitor’s 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM offering.
Coming to the display, Le 1s Eco’s 5.5" In-cell FHD trumps the Samsung J7 - 6’s 5.5" sAMOLED HD Display by virtue of its higher resolution. Both phones have comparable cameras, with a 13 MP ISCOCELL on Le 1s Eco while the Samsung Galaxy J7 - 6 has a 13 MP camera.
In the looks and sturdiness department, the Le 1s Eco scores again with its premium full-metal unibody against the Samsung phone’s metal frame and plastic body.
Last but not least, the competition is most apparent in the pricing department where the Le 1s Eco costs almost 6,000 Rs. lesser than the Galaxy J7 - 6. It’s no big surprise that Le 1s Eco offers not only superior specs but far more value for money!
Found this awesome review on web. Check it out guys.

Samsung Galaxy S 5

For those who do not know
Source: http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/new...s5s-525-inch-qhd-amoled-display-report-462909
"As we are approaching the end of 2013, Samsung's alleged 2014 flagship smartphone; the Galaxy S5 is hitting the rumour mill on a regular basis. The latest buzz about Samsung's next flagship reveals that it would sport a 5.25-inch QHD (Quad HD) AMOLED display and that it has entered mass production.
Sammobile*cites a*Korean publication*and claims that the display for alleged Galaxy S5 would comprise diamond pixel arrangement, which the company has reportedly used on Samsung's 2013 flagship smartphone,*Galaxy S4*and recently unveiled*Galaxy Note 3. The report suggests that the new diamond pixel arrangement would offer enhanced sharpness and pixel density.
Further, the Galaxy S5's screen resolution is said to be 1440x2560 pixels, with the pixel density to be 560ppi, much in-line with our earlier reports. Not too long ago, a GFXBench listing had revealed a device codenamedSamsung SM-G900S sporting a screen resolution of 1440x2560 pixels*(2K).
Recent reports have already suggested that the South Korean manufacturer has plans to*release two versions of the alleged Galaxy S5. As per the report, there would be two variants of the Galaxy S5: a premium variant which would sport a metal chassis and a flexible OLED, and a variant which will come with the usual plastic body, as found on other Galaxy smartphones.
Earlier this month, a report claimed that the*South Korean maker would again use plastic for its next flagship smartphone, instead of the*metal chassis rumoured for quite some time.
Rumoured specifications of the alleged Galaxy S5 include a 64-bit Exynos chipset or a Snapdragon chipset; 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera, a 4000mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top.
Samsung has also been rumoured to equip the allegedGalaxy S5 with an eye-scanning sensor. Samsung's expected next flagship smartphone (the Galaxy S5) will probably be the first device to pack such a feature.
Some reports have indicated that Samsung may announce the*Galaxy S5 as early as January, in a bid to overcome 'disappointing' Galaxy S4 sales."
4000mAh....
I wish but I don't think that's going to happen.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime

Samsung is rumoured to have a version called the 2K Galaxy S5 Prime up its sleeve. As the name suggests, it'll have a 2K screen, also known as QHD (as in "Quite High Definition", no, okay "quad HD"), packing 2560x1440 pixels rather than the current S5's 1920x1080.
Within Samsung's hallowed halls, the 2K Galaxy S5 Prime is said to be known by the codename 'KQ', with the model number SM-G900. A handset with that model number was recently spotted on a shipping database. It's reportedly being used for research and development purposes.
So why not launch the S5 with the better screen in the first place? That was the plan, according to SamMobile, but it was abandoned due to production issues. These are currently being ironed out, and the hi-res S5 should be with us this year.
Hopefully it is soon. It would be nice if they offered some type of trade in for all the people who might want to upgrade from the s5. I think moto did something similar with the X? They gave people the option to return theirs for a wood back one for 50 bucks or something.
Although it might not be worth it. Would need to have similar battery life or that would be a deal breaker.

Samsung to launch Galaxy S5 Prime in June
This is what I hope:
1. At least 32GB for internal memory.
2. The replaceable/removable battery.
3. A micro SD card slot for external storage of up to 128GB.
In addition to all of the other enhancements over the current S5.
I will have no respect for Samsung if this is true. They outright said to us that there will be no "premium" Galaxy S5. If that is true, it might not be an "S5" it might be part of another series.
These are the specs released on the news.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime Specifications:
5.2” , 2560 x1440 display
2.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor
Andreno 420 GPU
3 GB RAM
32 GB of storage
16 MP camera
2 MP front camera
Android 4.4.2 KitKat

Those were actually the initial rumoured specs for the generic S5... So whichever journalist dug those up should be fired for being incredibly slow.
planned marketing
Yeah they do that kind of thing all the time, release a nice phone with a few features of current technology missing, then a few months later they release one with the better tech so people upgrade. If there aren't free upgrades (which there won't be since it's not a fault) it's just a planned marketing strategy to make more money. yay!
I dont think they will release anything else to kill the S5 they have just released this year. They smart enough not to **** with those who has purchased the S5.
Analyst assumptions was the S5 Prime was to shore up their product offering before the two new iPhones launch, but now it is reported the new Prime might just be a small launch due to cost of display production.
If this is true, the iPhone 6 will likely destroy Samsung in sales. First big iPhone display and an even faster/efficient chipset than the i7, which is already faster than the S801. This might be the first time since the S2 where the iPhone trumps Samsung.
I am not an iPhone fan, so do not find this potential scenario of revived dominance a good thing. I do like the iPad Air though, in spite of my Android affliction. That said, Kitkat's killing of sd card writes ofr third party apps is making Android more like iOS....

I think that if Samsung released the S5 Prime, then it would anger a LOT of people.
However, I'm not quite sure how you got the impression that Apple's Cyclone based A7 chip is faster than the i7. Quite simply put, it's not.
Look at the Geekbench comparison down further on the page: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4700MQ-vs-Apple-A7
Even if the score were four times higher, it still wouldn't match up with the MOBILE version of the i7 Haswell.
Things get spaced even farther apart when you compare it to a desktop class i7 Haswell: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4770K-vs-Apple-A7
I agree with you in terms of iPhone 6 sales outpacing that of the S5. Apple usually sells more, and has more loyal followers.
