Marshmallow notification tray color - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

Just updated to marshmallow. Notification tray is purple and can't figure out how to change it. Any tips?

It was Samsung Good Lock.

Figured it out. I installed Samsung Good Lock and the default UI color was set to purple. Changed it by going to Good Lock > Routines > Default. It's the second setting.

You had Good Lock installed before you updated to MM?

[Q] Lollipop Update - White Button and Menu Background Color?

Sorry if this has been asked but I Googled and couldn't find much (I suspect because of the keywords- it wants to show me how to change the background or how it's available in white)... but, after the 5.0 update, there is one "annoyance" setting that I'm hoping can be reverted. Everything is now white instead of black (menus, app drawer, etc.). Can this be reverted to the darker theme easily?
As far as I know there is no way to revert to the "black theme".
Oddly, G's news app has a dark theme built in, but thats the only one I can find

It would help if you told us which ROM you are referring to. On stock android you can't customize the quick settings.
If you're using CM then go to Settings>Notification drawer>Select and order tiles.

Icons changed after Oreo update

I just got my update. How do i remove the while fill-in around all my icons?
Thanks.
Weirdly, i also cannot slide down the notifications/quick settings panel without the navigation bar sliding up as well.

There is an option in settings called icon frame, you should tick Icons only and your problem is resolved

Are you using the stock Samsung launcher?
I've uninstalled Nova (as I had it installed but I wasn't using it), but the option is still greyed out.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it's bugging me lol.
Weird.. I have the option available to me, but whether I click icons only, or select the other option, doesn't make any difference, it still shows with the ugly white border :S
Google and their insane obsession with the color white continues in Oreo. SMH.

Force the use of legacy icons in any compatible launcher. Nova has it once you enable Labs.

Same problem with me, you found a solution yet bro?
Same here after i updated to oreo the option Icons frames>Icons only it's bugged and isn't working.
Icon frame problem s7 edge oreo
I received oreo today and i am facing the same problem. Doesn't matter whether i choose with frame or without frame, the icons appear with frame. Did anyone's problem resolved or it still exists?
This is one of the reasons I hate Oreo. Mandatory adaptive icons.

[Q] Pie AOD Notification Colors - how to revert back to white icons before One UI?

I know I can't be the only one who can't read some notifications in direct sunlight now that the Pie / One UI update has "gifted" us with colored notification icons on the Always On Display (AOD). This article here shows the comparison I'm talking about, under the date on this AOD screen:
https://www.sammobile.com/2018/10/18/always-on-display-android-pie-update-samsung
The first picture has the MUCH easier to read white icons and the second has the awful colored ones. I use The Weather Channel app to see current temperature on the notification bar, and it switches between blue and red depending on the temp. It is a small number by design and when it is in color, it is HARD to read when there is any sort of ambient light around, IMPOSSIBLE to read when sunlight hits the screen!
I cannot find a single theme or setting on the phone to change those from colored icons to white. There are themes that show white icons but when loaded, Samsung's One UI takes over and colors them. I see the setting to change the color for the clock, and that too is not what I'm looking for. The color and date are both in white on the AMOLED black screen, I don't need colored notification icons, this should NOT be this difficult to figure out how to do! I'm using current version on my AT&T Note 9, no root. Thanks in advance if you can shed any light!
Same problem here...couldn't find a solution yet! Let me know if you get one, thanks!
I second this. I want simple B&W AOD like it was at the beginning. The coloured icons on AOD is a very bad idea.
Is there anyway to downgrade AOD app or apply a patch?
Please take a look at the attached pic - this looks awful, very cheap.
Thanks.
Also trying to find a solution to this...on the S10 it's even worse because there is no notification LED. And now the AOD icons are barely visible !
Since yesterday, i'm on CSDJ maisecurity Patch. But i dont have colored Icons on my AoD ? Also have no settings to activate or deactivate colored Icons. May Icons are grey/white like back in Oreo. So i ask myself, is this function maybe limited to specific devices ? Or are you guys on a higher Buildstring then CSDJ ?
*Edit* My (ex) Note 8 has this colored Icons too. But not for my Note 9.

I'm on CSE1 May 1st security patch, which (correct me if I'm wrong) is after CSDJ based on alphabetical order, and still have colored icons. Not sure the patch or software version made the difference, something else must have!

I'm on Galaxy S10 and the April update. I haven't update anything now since I'm traveling, will update on Friday when I get home. However a few days ago I update some apps and now my AOD icons are dark gray for some reason... Can't really see what it is and I have 20/20 sigh. Let's hope for a resolution to this.

Yes your String is higher than in my DBT. Maybe this is the reason why i have no colored Icons. Anyway this Build is absolute bad. Laggy performance on the whole Device. Rolling back on CSDE >.<
I disabled AOD becaus of this. It's stupidy that we can't customize it
Same here. So annoying! Basically Samsung support answered my question saying that for now you cannot change the color. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

Change appearance of the quick setting/notification panel

Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way to get a stock Android/Pixel like looking notification and quick setting panel/menu for EMUI 9.1 (I just like its simple icon style and the darker background compared to the particularized bright EMUI appearance).
Something like that is what I'm looking for.
I already found some information on launchers etc., but it doesn't seem to affect the panel in the top:
https://blog.en.uptodown.com/simulate-android-stock-huawei-emui
https://theunlockr.com/huawei-p20-stock-android/
This XDA icon pack does not seem to yield the desired results either (regular app icons are changing, not the top panel though).
Thanks for some info
The only way is to use PowerShade.
It creates an overlay on top of the stock notification panel.

We have to wait untill EUMI 9.1 themes will be available. 9.0/9.0.1 themes are not compatible.

Alright, I tried these kind of apps now and it doesn't really seem to be of any convenience. A lot of system permissions have to be set and then it only works for the drop down menu, but not the actual notification panel at the top.
Thanks though!

Sorry but this is all new to me. You mean we just have to wait until a custom made Android-like looking theme pops up in huawei's theme gallery?
I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but I really like this theme, and it gives dark notifications and volume slider...

Yes, right. There is no other way to change it. Some custom themes compatible with emui 9.1 are already on line.
