I have the tmobile nexus s. I've been looking online and found a few that look cool but don't really match what I want exactly or that are made for the Nexus S specifically.
This one is almost perfect. I'd rather it load from the top so I can pull the phone out without having to open the wallet. Like keep the wallet in the pocket and still pull out the phone. Also this one may be a tad on the small side for the dimensions of the nexus s. I'd also like to keep it thin. Cards, cash and phone.
I can't believe I'm the only one who would want that...
I think i kind of hate the leather covers, coz with time the cover tend to get bad smell...!!!
take a look on pdair, i bought a case for my ex aver liquid and is still looking good

Just bought a leather case, but it's designed for Galaxy S. I Hope it's going to fit
After trying several cases for my Nexus 7, knowing there aren't any specifically for the Nexus 7 at any retail stores, this was the best one I've come across. It will hold me over until an official case comes out (I've kept the receipt so I can return it). I just can't have such an awesome piece of tech sitting around without a case and without the ability to use it as a stand for viewing. The leather is genuine and the case is simply gorgeous. I love the way if holds the tablet without the clamps/rubberized holding mechanism actually rubbing or touching the bezel. All ports are accessible while it is in the case and the power/volume buttons are very easily accessible.
Found it at Fry's this morning on the way to work but it will set you back $59.99. One of the best portfolio stand cases I've ever owned for any of my devices. High end.

Here are some pictures I just took of it from various angles.

Nice! Any negatives that you can tell aside from price?

None, which is hard to say about most cases. I've always had something I've disliked about a case but have dealt with it. I've also always went for the cheaper the better in the past. This case is truly a "you get what you pay for" case. The way it holds the very edges of the tablet is my favorite part. It looks like it is floating in the case and the parts that hold the tablet in place never really become part of the view. The access to all buttons and inputs as well as the quality of the leather are great. The actual stand aspect allows for infinite viewing angles and never feels cheap, like the stand portion is going to collapse at any moment.
This case looks really nice. I personally want a colored case though and not the standard brown/black. Also, I'd rather pay a bit more for a case that I really like and thats going to last me a while then buy a cheap case that I'm not that into, deciding that Im not satisfied with it and having to buy more. So if I see something that I fall in love with then I don't mind pulling the trigger as long as its not 100+

Nice. It fits perfectly? Usually cases with the plastic clips are pretty picky about what they'll work with. If so, I'm thinking about buying one of these gtab 2 7.0 cases and adding a "smart cover" magnet to it.

Here's how well it fits Very securely! I'm actually shaking the case while I hold it upside down. Talk about making your heart jump a bit!
are you sure? I tried the same case and it doesn't fit too well, but its the best one
the corners are still lodged

haha, very nice. I may have to see how some of the gtab 2 7.0 cases fit myself. Nice to see you also brought your new baby to work with you today :good:

I just pulled the edges on the 4 rubber ends out slightly, if that makes sense, and when the tablet was in place, they wrapped perfectly around each corner of the tablet. It takes a tiny bit of "fitting", but once it's on, it's all good.

I had to bring it to work! It definitely is my new baby. Tethered 4G connection from my Galaxy Nexus Streaming music while getting my work on.
Sexy! The case too!
Thanks for sharing, that case looks made to order on the Nexus 7. :good:
How about the speaker in the back, is it covered or are there holes for it?
There are no holes for the speaker. I did a test at max volume and I have no idea why but it sounds louder with it in the case then out of the case. It could be the way it's configured with the speaker near flush but with a decimeter or so gap. I know with my phones and tablets that they tend to sound louder when they are angled near a wall and I seem to get the same effect with this case.

Okay. My point is that it's less than a centimeter. Maybe a millimeter or so. Enough tiny space to actually amplify the sound

rediculous price! that's 25% of the tablet. I've seen much better looking case off amazon.

Link? Cause I haven't seen any. All those cheap amazon cases look cheap and tacky IMO.

i bought this elcheapo case for now, at least they have 2 day prime shipping
This case is very similar to the one you bought, but is significantly cheaper.

The company has a case specifically for the N7, but no pictures of the N7 in a case. I'm guessing their N7 is waiting to be delivered too. Haha. Anyway, I really like the floating look, and will probably be getting this one.

People on other threads have been linking to Cases listed on Amazon and Ebay with that very similar look (they probably all use the same stock photos) with prices ranging from $10 to $20. Even cheaper.

I don't know, may be not the same quality but it's hard to judge from photos, or even the prizes.
Only way to judge is hand-on experience like the OP's case, his case looks good also because when the back holds on to four corners only, whereas these ones are a bit 'uneven' (when viewed in portrait mode) : p
I would perfer something that holds on to the edges of Nexus 7 only, like the Official Case or this:

I have the ones in the 2nd link you posted, and they do work pretty good considering. I placed the metal/adhesive ring on my battery cover and then have my UAG case over it. Whenever I decide to use the lens', I have to remove the UAG case prior to placing the lens on.
The first link is only telescopic, so if you want other options like wide eye or macro, then go with the 2nd link.
In either case, you will have to remove your case (if you have one on) prior to using either type of lenses.
I'm looking for a high quality selfie stick for my travels (not those chinese $5-7 ones). My needs:
- Durable (must feel solid and can support heavy phones with ease)
- Big slot for phones like the Note 5
- 3.5mm cord variant is preferred (bluetooth is okay)
- Good grip material is a plus (not required)
- No need of any extra flashy features
Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks in advance!
Bump?
Get a monopole and a phone clamp with a normal tripod mount.

Sturdy branch and duct tape
I got this one and reviewed it from stalion. It was actually really well constructed and held the phone with a TPU case easily. It is bluetooth, although I think they may have a wired version too.

First of all im from turkey and my english is not perfect.
Im worried about tripods because of the curved screen. Is it safe to use on s7 edge? I dont want any crack or bend issues.
I found this https://www.amazon.com/LimoStudio-M...466092895&sr=8-4&keywords=tripod+phone+holder
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019...one+stick&dpPl=1&dpID=41GfiIQ-4UL&ref=plSrch#
I would go with something like this, since it looks like it has padded grips for the phone.
This may help:

Don't buy a Joby Gorillapod, they aren't very stable and generally suck IMO. I just use my small Manfrotto Tripod from my DSLR with a phone mount
