Another fun thing I did today was make someone paranoid when I was talking about a completely different thread getting locked.

You didn't even read the above comments did you? It wasn't trolling, it was posting what fun thing I did today. The OP just thought my statement was directed at him. Not all misunderstandings are troll attempts.

I got my Galaxy Note now since yesterday and I am moving on to the Note Board here at XDA.
I want to thank everybody for teaching me so much and giving my OB better performance and look. This device is now going to my girlfriend. So maybe I will step back for some update for OB.

Only soul enjoys those threads (probbably he's the one creating them from fake accounts).

At least he thanked our awesome Devs for their work. These threads are fine as long as the new device isnt discussed and compared with our OB imho.

RDF Discussion Thread for Sprint Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720)

This was done over on the Samsung Galaxy S3 threads by rwilco12 . I saw that we didn't have anything like it over here on the Galaxy S4 threads so I took a guess and found the RDF for the S4.

you have to use Internet Explorer to view an RDF. For whatever reason it will only display correctly in Internet Explorer.
It shows that L720VPUAMC5 is the current version of the S4 ROM being tested.

"Software Number"= MC5 ?!? Although it still says Android Version 4.2.2..... :thumbdown:

Nice to see one of these here in the S4 forum, I came from an s3 and always checked the RDF Thread for the newest for out phones. Tx for creating one of these.

Same here! I was gonna create one myself but good thing I searched first and found this... it's been so dead that's why I didn't even know there was one haha. The S3 RDF thread was monstrous!
Now... what the heck is "MC5"?! Unless they haven't updated it in a while, which would suck!

The s2 rdf was boss.

That was just posted like a week ago so its still current info . I think we getting a update very soon, usually if one of these appears in an RDF thread it means update very soon hopefully. :beer: :thumbup:

The rdf's are notorious for having incorrect info in them but if it is truly mc5 than it is old. Mc5 would be March 5th. And we have mf9 which is June 9th. But again you almost never know what to expect from the rdf.

So does anyone know what "MC5" is?? Was it what the phone originally came with or is it an update looming in the near future?!

More than likely it was an old test build.

You are correct. It seems that Sprint did not use the RDF process for production ROMs for the S4.

So I was updating my brothers nexus 7 and came across another ROM that supports are phone yet has no thread here idk if its OK with them but here's a link to their downloads
Its workings great

I flashed this as soon as it was posted and I must say its a winner! Its been several hours now with no issues except on minor one. When linking the quick settings to the tiles a few overlay and both are there, no biggie as long as you don't link them though. Here's what I got so far

Lol yeah I was hesitant on flashing at first but it runs great its just weird that they build it for our device yet no official thread for it here and they're nightlies too

Yup but its honestly better then the cm11 nightly I was running so lucky me. It has many more options its superfast and buttery smooth to boot.
