[PORT] Xperia Z keyboard for JB CM 10.1 and Stock

I ported and tweaked the Xperia Z phone latin keyboard to function in this tablet.
All language versions included.
Can replace the stock latin keyboad.
I tested in Samsung JB stock rom and Cyanogenmod 10.1. Therefore, should work on all derivatives and similars (ICS included).
As my device is an P5100 (10.1 inches) I could not test it on 31xx models, but I guess it will work on them.

I don't know what you mean Xperia Theme.
I use Cyanogenmod 10.1 whit some small tweaks on my part.
Keyboard's theme is included in it ( I've tweaked a lot).

Google's 4.2 keyboard is amazing

Yes, it is really amazing, but I've removed it from my tablet and I've replaced with my mod. I like much more.
Have do you try this ?

You should note All Language Included, but Chinese.

Yeah, is very good as another many SONY things...
I prefer AOSP keyboard bcoz its cleaner and i love its UI

What does that mean?

samsung keyboard has 5 rows the top row being numbers.
xperia KB has 4 rows..
so any possibility to edit the layout and make an extra NUMBER row appear on top.

BTW since its just layout i think a DEV with decompiling and smali xml knowledge can make it happen..

This mod is planned to Galaxy Tab2. Surely work well in Galaxy Tab1 & Tab3. For any other device, I don't know.

[Q] Sony Apps on CyanogenMod?

Hi,
Sorry novice question but, is it possible to install some of the stock Sony Apps onto a custom ROM such as CyanogenMod? I am running CyanogenMod at the moment and I love it, fast, stable, and without much battery drain. I would love to be able to use the Sony stock camera though.
Is it possible, like installing Gapps, but Sapps?

Hi,
apps from Sony "usually" need SONY's own framework. Sadly, the framework itself is not opensourced and cannot be used on other roms.
This is the reply you would usually get when asking other rom developers. Sadly, its true tho.

THere are mods , as far as I know I have cynogen mod on my Galaxy note 2 , and I installed Album , Movies and Walkman and runs perfectly , inicuding the launcher so , any other apps u are expecting..

theirs even small apps mod to make that working , only major thing which isn't ported yet is the stock camera and proper bravia engine etc

those apps need sony framework which isn't included in cm rom

Yeah...iuts not working Yesterday i was trying so hard to install (backup/intsall...restore/install...restore install - like a circle)... i tried all the possibilites.... but nothing...
And about Timeshift and 4K...it doesnt work for me.... i found libs, but nothing... Timeshift mode is starting but when im pressing the button to make the video its showing me error screen... The 4K mode even cant start... in app drawer when im pressing 4K video mode shortcut its showing me error screen...
I tried few times...
I have deodex, superusermod (patched services.jar) root... all the things...
We need to wait for some cool devs

Me too.... Big and upside... Is it a big problem for you?
Its from Z2 so maybe its not modded finally for our devices... but i dont think that its a bug or smtg

It's not, you need to change the images sizes and the desc.txt file. I have edited mine and could upload it once home

Testin on sp 4.3

Glad you return to active development ...
I expect more things from you, since most developers do just for android 4.4 and forgot about us, users of android 4.3.
The conversations works but the FC when sending a message still present. (Edit: I downloaded version 1 from my phone sorry.
The notification when receive a message in the notification panel look like ICS, no expanded notifications... and no text of notification in status bar.

I think it might work.
With the stock rom works
Both devices have the same software. (T and TX)

I am using currently the latest version based on .54 fw (7.1.1)
When you clean up the chinese trash from the rom it runs actually pretty nice
I am currently uploading it to mediafire and will post a link when the upload is done
