HTC splash screen & reboot after flashing RUU - Sprint HTC One (M7)

After flashing any RUU in sprint htc One M7 it stuck in white splash screen with green HTC logo and after 1-2 min reboot happens and then same thing. When it goes to splash screen i can see status bar and i can do lock/unlock the screen.Media/ringtone volume rocker is working.Even i'm able to get screenshot. So I've flash twrp and delete the htcsetupwizard.apk.After this goes to the home screen. But it still rebooting after 1-2 min.
I've tried 5.05.651.2 RUU & 4.06.651.4 RUU.Both flashed after flashing same versions firmwares,no imei.
But in the case of 6.23.651.10 RUU it boots splash screen but not any reboot, deteled htc setupwizard.apk, booted but notification bar not working,no imei
Plz help..

I would suggest flashing something other than an ruu first, such as a stable custom rom. If you want lollipop I recommend the bad boyz 5.0.2, and if you want kit kat, I would say RageOne 4.2.2 for the battery life, stability, and speed.

Thanks for the reply but i'm facing so many problem.I have tried SD rom,Viperone & NuSense rom (both are lollipop) with so many versions of twrp including the latest but failed (splash htc screen & it continiously rebooting). Now I'm trying to flash CM 12.1 for sprint but in recovery it says my phone is not sprint. But in bootloader it says m7_wls & when I enter "fastboot getvar all" command in fastboot mode it shows my MID is 072***** ,that shows it is sprint but I can't figure out what is the main issue.

We're you on lollipop before you started to flash Roms on lollipop or did you come from kit kat

Yeah, it was running kitkat 4.4.3 but I dont remember the build number. Now I've flashed CM12.1 for m7 not the sprint one because it shows in recovery that my phone is not sprint. It has booted succesfully but basebend is unavailable.

Well if you didn't have lollipop before than your fast boot and stuff are not prepared to run lollipop. You need to first try a ROM that uses kit Kat 4.4.3 or less, and if that works, you can try to install stock and relock the bootloader to get the official HTC ota update to lollipop. You will need to have the stock lollipop working before you jump onto it straight from kit kat. Hope this helps

I'm confused my phone is sprint or not because I tried cm11 for normal m7 and it booted successfully but no imei/basebend then I've flashed cm12 for sprint m7 but in twrp it says my device is not sprint. So I've flashed cm12.1 for normal m7 and it booted but same unknown basebend/imei problem. But in boitloader it shows m7_wls.

You need to stop using cm12 and 12.1 for now and use a sprint rom that is based on sense on 4.4.3 or less. Try this one https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407569536 it is kit Kat 4.4.2 . Just a side note, once you finish the aroma configuration and it starts to install you need to be patient because it stays at the beginning for a long time but it does eventually install

Thanks mate I'll try this. Can I flash this with 4.06.651.4 firmware? Because I'm in 6.23.651.10 firmware.

I believe that that the firmware is backwards compatible so you should be able to leave the firmware as is

headach going back to stock

Hello all,
I'll start with saying how awesome you all are!
Now that the pleasantries are done I have a damned frustrating problem.
I converted my Bell mobility m7 to a gpe m7, it was great until I got the ota 4.4.3 update and like many others got the screen glitch.
So I searched for a way to get it back to stock.
Here us what I've done, flashed twrp and restored the nandroid backup for my device ( all good here) I then changed the cid back to bm___001, also all good. Now it asks me to update the ota, it downloads and verifies, but when I select install now, it boots into twrp recovery and does nothing.
My bootloader is also Black and not the normal white.
My hboot is at 1.54, I have no idea how to get the stock hth recovery on this thing... I have s-off, it's unlocked.
I can get the var dump and post it when I get to my pc.
I've been looking for a week now and I'm stuck. Any help would be awesome..
Just a side, why is there no RUU for bell mobility ?
OTAs only install with stock recoveries. You need to find the correct stock version for the Rom you are on. There is a post on here with all the recoveries

Why would you try and OTA update a phone with TWRP recovery on it ?
the OTA updates check everything on your phone and can only be used on a totally stock phone with Stock Recovery.
have you tried this >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2529225
The odd thing is the HTC sense Rom checks the update and veryfies it , it starts to install then boots into twrp.
I have hboot 1.54, is that going to be an issue, how do I get to 1.55?
Go Here
Read xda carefully to understand these stuff
from HTC One
Alright I installed the Bell recovery and it works fine. Rebooted phone and it asked again to install ota this time I said install now and watched. Seemed to install fine, but at the very end of the install I got the red triangle. I forced a reboot and I get a blue, then pink screen with boot up sounds, then the HTC logo with blue beats logo and it hangs.
I'll flash twrp back on and restore the nandroid backup I have and restart.
Anyone know why I still have the black bootloader and the Google screen at start up.?
Where Can I get the HTC bootloader?

sprint htc one keeps rebooting even after ruu

i have a sprint htc one and it is being quite a pain in the a**. i had gotten it flashed to cricket a few months ago but like a month ago i flashed a sense based rom and it showed up with htc.htcdialer not responding. so i flashed a aosp rom back and it was fine except every once and a while it would reboot and i would have no baseband or anything until i flashed the radio through CWM and it worked. so today i decided to try and restore it to stock using a RUU but after it booted it worked for a min then it rebooted and when it came back on it showed a black screen with the status bar but i could pull the notification drawer down and access the settings but it keeps rebooting
and on top of that i cant flash a custom recovery it comes up with
FAILED (remote: not allowed)
im at a loss idk what to do ive been up night and day trying to fix this someone please help :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Did you try to flash the latest RUU 5.03.651.3? If not, then download it from this site and follow the instructions in the OP. The MD5 for this RUU is 9ae375b6022e823fa4f90226115b0c54. Double check the MD5 to ensure you didn't have a corrupt download. If you are still S-ON, then you will have to re-lock your bootloader prior to running this RUU.
so i restored my phone to stock using the ruu you gave me but when it boots up it shows the lock screen then when i unlock it it shows a white screen with a green htc logo and i can just see the status bar if i pull down from the top
and its still rebooting every few min and it shows htc.htcdialer not responding
and i cant flash a custom recovery

The RUU should have put everything back to stock. Did the RUU complete properly without any failures? You can try and run the RUU again paying close attentions to the steps and double check the MD5. If that doesn't work, then download the firmware from the same site and flash it. This will give you the correct radio, hboot and stock recovery. Are you able to get to Settings and check About to see if your imei and baseband are present? If not, it may be a hardware issue which would require returning the phone to Sprint or HTC.

1. Did you run the RUU again?
2. Did you flash the firmware?
3. Are the baseband & imei in your Settings?
4. Do you mean you have an unlocked SIM to Cricket?
One of the fixes for htcdialer is to do a factory reset in bootloader, another was to reinstall the radio. If you were to flash the stock firmware, it would have accomplished both of these objectives. Prior to flashing it, copy what you can off of your phone and save to your computer. Note: For most GSM phones (yours is a CDMA) when you flash the firmware it fails on this command fastboot flash zip firmware.zip you just have to re-enter the command a second time. If it works the first time thru then great.

yes i ran the RUU more than once
by what firmware do you mean?
no my baseband and imei are UNKNOWN in settings but when i do fastboot getvar all it shows them
and no i took it to a phone store and they flashed it to cricket since they said that the sprint gsm radios wouldnt work with cricket
i havent tried the factory reset in my bootloader yet because i flashed CM11 M9 SNAPSHOT so it would work because no matter what sense-based rom i flash it comes up with the htcdialer and i have tried to flash every sprint radio i could through CWM but when i restart it it shows an unknown baseband

[Q] Cant get OTA, for ViperOne update

I have my Sprint HTC One m8 and I'd like to update to ViperOne ROM 3.1.0
I was using ViperOne 1.8.0, but to install the new version I need to get things back to stock so I can get all the OTA's up to the most recent update, and then flash the new ViperOne.
I've gotten this far and now I'm stuck...
Flashed Sprint_HTC_One_M8_1.54.651.8_RUU and now it boots into the stock no problem. Flashed the stock recovery here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2736048 . When I start the phone it recognizes there is an update, but when it tries to install it, the process quits about a quarter of the way through, it gives off the red ! with triangle, then eventually reboots back into android. I feel like I'm missing a step here somewhere, not sure why the stock recovery doesnt work. I can flash back and forth from the stock recovery and twrp, and twrp works. I have access to fastboot if needed.
General specs of the phone as I believe they still are...
S-Off (htc unlock)
Rooted
1.54.651.8 Stock rom
hboot 3.16.00 (i flashed some mod a long time ago to hide the red development message you'd get)
Anything else you need?

If you're S-off, no.
You might want to take a look at the thread in the link below. It pretty much covers what you have to do to take the OTA. Since you're S-off, why not install the firmware for the latest update and then flash a ROM based off the latest update? Much simpler than having to go through all the steps you're going through.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2888993
yeah, i was trying to update via methods that were a couple weeks old, which of course are old.... lol
I installed the latest ROM from sprint, then install ViperOne on top of it, going through the install right now. Wifi is working so I guess the firmware updated correctly.
Thanks

Need help asap, bricked my HTC One m7 GPe, but I have access to TWRP

Long story short, I had Viper rom installed for 3 years. Couldn't play Pokemon Go because firmware was outdated (4.3), flashed back 3 years to a stock rom. Still couldn't update from settings because it kept saying I had no space even tho I had 20gb and apps instaled/updated fine. Only option I had left is to manually flash OTAs untill I get up to atleast 4.4. I went to this XDA post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532491. Flashed JWR66Y from JWR66V update and it went no problem. I then tried to flash KRT16S from JWR66Y to finally get 4.4 kitkat for pokemon go. Don't remember exactly what happened but after I restarted the phone It now bluescreens right after the "Google". From what I have went through past 48 hours trying to fix this ****/get my phone up to 4.4 I guess I have to flash a new ROM, but how am I supposed to do that when all these custom roms require to be on the latest firmware?
I am tired and out of options so I really really really hope one of you guys can help me out with this bs.
My phone is HTC One m7 GPe (M7_UL), it is unlocked, don't know if still rooted or not since its bricked
OS - 2.14.1700.15
I have access to TWRP which is v.2.6.0.1

I actually just finally fixed it by downloading 4.3 rom from here: http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/HTCOne/M7/roms/GooglePlayEdition/ and then flashing it from TWRP. Now I have a different problem, im still trying to get up to atleast 4.4 and it STILL tells me that im out of space, so since 4.3 worked from that website I downloaded 4.4 from it (after updating my twrp to the newest version) and after flashing it the same way as 4.3 it succeeds, but as soon as my phone loads in to the menu it enters a boot loop. I do have a backup so the bootloop is no problem, but idk what to do to get up to 4.4.

M7 WLS (no sim, no IMEI, no signal)

Brought a M7 off New Zealand trading site like ebay.
It came with a htc one soul xiaoxiang 8002_x21.0 rom, one i have been unable to find.
But i went ahead a threw the stock RUU at it and now no matter the rom's i flash my phone with im getting no signal, no sim card.
As far as i have played around its the radio, i recall that the xiaoxiang had a "radio" and "beats audio" app? but all the Sprint roms i have tried, about 10 havn't had the radio fix nor have any of them helped.
Feels like im going round and round in circles.
Can anyone suggest a rom or a fix?
I brought this model of phone because i wanted to abuse the infrared blaster and that was the driving factor i reverted to a stock ruu. But at this stage i just want to be able to use my New Zealand sim card!
Hello, what is your CID AND MID?
CID is 11111111
Device serial number is FA357S905147
Model is HTC PN072
Current have a badboyz rome Lollipop 5.0.2, Sense 6.0
Baseband is unknown
Imei unknown
Played around with different radio versions today, result was disappointing.
I'll run adb and try get the MID. i think thats where i get it.
I do have the HTC unlock file on my other computer.
hey bro i solved this problem by
(a)make a backup of the rom by twrp
(b)factery wipe the phone including OS i.e SYSYTEM
(C) Let it boot up till it gets stuck on the htc logo since it has no OS
(D)power off, go into boot loader and on fastbootusb type "Fastboot oem rebootRUU"
(E)THEN FLASH THIS RADIO "1.01.20.1225_6.16.651.2_radio"
(F)after youve flashed it reboot in to bootloader (Fastboot reboot-bootloader) and confirm if you have the radio
(last)restore your backup from twrp and enjoy

Still have this issue, upgraded to 7.1.1
As far as i know, its some sort of sprint lock.
The phone is GSM, but it doesnt matter if im running fireware from when the phone was first released or the lastest update, nothing solves the issue.
There has to be a file or script in the root files that has disabled this function.
