Need help rooting a MeMo Pad 7 LTE from AT&T. - MeMO Pad 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I bought this tablet back a few months ago and i'm trying to find a working way to root it, but so far I've had no luck. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how to root this type of tablet?
Tablet info:
Name: MeMo Pad 7 LTE
Android version: Lollipop 5.1.1
Baseband version: 1505_4.0.16.01_0709
Kernel Version: 3.10.62-86_64_moor
Build number:ATT_12.30.2.10
Thank you!

There is no root for lollipop, we are stuck.

[Q] Will CM6 and other roms work on an AT&T Nexus One?

Just out of curiosity, will CyanogemMod and other popular roms work for the AT&T version (att 3g enabled) Nexus One phones? I recently traded my T-Mobile version and would like to start customizing again. Any help would be great!

Thanks for the reply!
That sounds logical, however I remember when FRF85 came out, it was only for the T-Mobile version of the phone. Something about the hardware differences or something. I dunno read it on a few sites. I just don't wanna end up bricking my phone. Lol.
Anyone with an ATT model or a dev that knows this for sure?

I have the AT&T S5 running Lollipop.
I don't recall - but I *think* I got this device before Lollipop was released. I got the device in May'14. My research shows that Lollipop came out Nov'14.
So - if I got the device with the prior release - but it's running Lollipop now - is there a way to root it?
Thanks.
No I have the same problem. I have been waiting for months now

If you took the lollipop OTA then no, there is still no active root available.
Any news on root yet?

If you are on the official 5.0+ ota, through any means other than the prerooted flashfire method, there is no known way to downgrade, root, etc. If you flashed the ota for lollipop, bought your phone and it had lollipop, or took the ota, and it is an att s5 (G900A) then it is not, at the time of me posting this, possible to downgrade to KitKat or root or anything of the sort.

Does anyone have the firmware for the lollipop on s5 active?
Does anyone know if models of S5 being sold as new now are being released with lollipop or kitkat preinstalled?
Is there a way to know by serial number on the box?
The reason I am asking is I just purchased one online a few days ago on the daily steals website has it was advertised As new and unlocked. I did not realize being that I am from Canada that this was a lockdown AT&T model. It is scheduled to arrive in the next day or so and I would prefer not to open the box and affect my ability to return it without restocking fee if it already comes with lollipop on it. Hi I'm less concerned about achieving root and more concerned about having the ability to native flea tether on my plan back here in Canada.
Also if it did come with lollipop firmware preinstalled, is there a way to enable native tethering on the phone if root is not achievable?

I'm not aware of any way of knowing before hand.

I'm not sure either I would just see if it is a 5.0 and below and just achieve root its so simple then you flash native tethering it just sounds like that would be the easiest way
5.0 and below or just kit Kat?

Not getting my hopes up, but hopefully with 6.0 there will be an exploit.

is kitkat the only rootable firmware or is early lollipop 5.0

KitKat 4.4.2, if you're on 4.4.4 you can downgrade, any higher (5.0) and you're stuck.

Need help rooting galaxy s6

Okay so I have the AT&T version of the galaxy s6 obviously and from what information I got it already it seems difficult to root this phone I've tried a few methods but they don't seem to work unless I'm doing something wrong I currently have service with Cricket Wireless but I'm using a AT&T galaxy s6 with that prevent me from rooting my phone any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
I do not think root is currently possible for the latest (s6) versions of Android.
Correct. Depends on your software version whether it's rootable or not. If you are on 5.0.2 either OF3 or OF4, or any 5.1.1, there is currently no root available.

Cf auto root only works on unlocked boot loader devices. There is a guide in the main site threads for installing safestrap then rooted system images
Do you mean xda?, or cf, site

Ahh sorry mate missed your post. The cqrrier specific threads here on s8 and up are pretty much dead. Yeah the safestrap and junk is all here on xda. Cf technicly is made for us yes. But because we have a locked bl it wont work. But if we where say to unlock it tomorrow yes cf auto would work perfectly in therory..if you search xda and s8 no verizon youll be taken. Screw it here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8
The s8 is not like past devices. All U.S. models are identicle so any 950u thread can or will apply to you as well. Xda has a wonderful search bar at the top of each page and it actually works really good once you get to know it.
I'm coming late to the party so to speak.
I finally got a S8 (Verizon) but have yet to move over to it.
My current phone is an S7 (Verizon) and via this website I was able to use a "non-customized" firmware ROM files along with odin3.12 to flash my S7. I did that so that I could use the "moblie hotspot" feature and give wifi to my laptop as I have unlimited data on my phone.
My S7 is "stuck" on Android 7, July 1, 2017 security patch, G930UUES4QG1 which I have been fine with not getting any verizon updates so long as I can use the "moblie hotspot".
Are you saying that with the S8 it is **NOT** possible to do what I did with the S7?
Here is the info on my S8
Model: SM-G950U
Carrier: Verizon
Android Version: 8.0.0
Baseband: G950USQS5CSB1
Kernel: 4.4.78
