Seeing specifications like this one: "6.0.1_r35 is more recent than 6.0.1_r43" I am a little bit confused, because I am trying to think logically that the version history goes from the 35 to 43, from small to big number, but ... I saw that maybe I am wrong, because of the updates in Github.
Could someone to indicate a link where to find the most recent version/release of Android? I mean not links like this one https://source.android.com/source/build-numbers.html or this one https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#sojus, because I am interested in the most recent ... modified / updated -ish kind of version (I suppose is Github, but I really don't know how to find it.
Thanks to all that could help.
Maybe I don't understand the question but the Google link is the place for that. Last one listed is the newest version. Well, in the case of this month the last two depending on the carrier.

https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/ota#shamu has the latest stock image which is MOB30I (Marshmallow)
https://developer.android.com/preview/download.html has latest preview N image which is NPD35K (NY Cheeskake or Nutella?)

Hi, thanks, but I already know from those link what are the latest Google versions.
The question came from what I saw in the Pure Nexus changelog. If you read it you will see that the owner says . "Update: to latest aosp source 6.0.1_r25(newer than r43)" That confused me.

Look here, it's newest to the oldest:
https://android.googlesource.com/platform/build/
Then choose any tag or branch, click on "core/build_id.mk", and you'll find the correspoding BUILD_ID.
E.g. on the "android-6.0.1_r25" tag it's "export BUILD_ID=MTC19T"

hey, I'm trying to find the direct google download link for the 1.5 build.
if you look here: http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=OTA_Updates, all the 44MB full releases follow the same format for the url:
https:**android.clients.google.com/updates/signed-kila-ota-(build#)-prereq.TC4-RC19+RC28+RC29+...zip
If someone has already gotten the T-Mobile G1 1.5 update (NOT a custom rom, NOT the developer edition) but the regular old 1.5 update, can you post your build number from your About page here, then we can guess the prerequisites string and hopefully find the direct URL so we don't have to wait for the push!
thanks,

Good idea but I think the 1.5 release in US just hasn't happened yet. It has been released in the UK apparently.
Does anyone have any proof of the US release?

Sorry Lieu10ant, you weren't listening. You posted the ADP update; he specifically said that's NOT what he's looking for.
Yea I really want this link too
Uhm just downloaded the wrong file. I assume the link above isn't going to help anyone...
The description doesn't say Nougat... and what it does say certainly doesn't seem to justify 326MB of download.
anyone applied this yet?
EDIT: very bad typo on my part.. corrected.

PK6 firmware has been posted on Sammobile for almost a month maybe. I installed it on my T719. Still MM, probably small fixes, and security patch level is December 1, 2016.

Yea, i guess it can take longer to reach your device via OTA. I keep tabs on https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and grab them as soon as they're posted.. But, I don't care what country they are for, I just install 1 from the new batch for the latest fixes and security updates lol.
I just received build 190116. Didn't notice how big it was but it seems to be December's security patch plus dialer improvements'.

There's already a thread for TMO update here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/incoming-tmobile-update-t3886554

That's a 16 page long thread about the last update... I thought people would like to know there's a new update without having to read an old thread
Agreed, new update, new thread.
Just downloaded it, it's quite big for just December update and Dialer improvements. Also build number jump seems pretty big. Anyone know what other changes were made?

u do realize the build number is just the date right? tmobiel updates are nothing great. any "big" improvements will be on the intl firmware first.

Would be interesting to know if it even works. Although IIRC the G6 doesn't have 64 Bit support.

It won't work. 64bit is the problem. There is a way to get 64bit working, but the guy who figured it out, took down the information and I can't find it anywhere. I can find the thread about it just fine, but the links he posted are all dead. Essentially all that needs to be done is,
*Make an arm64 compatible twrp.
*Modify some system processes to always run as arm32. (Vendor edits I think.)
*Add some Motorola specific 64bit libs.
I've been wanting to work on this for awhile now. I just need more information.

Sure, here you go. https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/dev-64bits-t3708091/
I did get a response from Vache about it. He said all the G5 Plus trees are 64bit now and that I can find the changes in any of them. I looked, and they are all 64bit, but it hasn't helped me find the changes that were needed in the first place. So, I'm still at a loss right now.
Hello,
Is there a way other than asking every single GSI Rom maker, if their Rom has the latest security patch installed. Or a way to find out?
Thank you:good:
Changelogs would mention those no?
Or just installing them and seeing for yourself. Unless you know how to breakdown fw and check there's no real way. But if you know how to do that, you wouldn't be asking either.
