Hi i live in Argentina and have a xt862... i always use Claro Argentina as my Carrier, days ago i recently start to use Movistar because all my friends have it and more economic plans, but when i put Movistar Sim Card on my droid and boot my phone it just keep saying "No Service" no matter what i do , i try other Movistar Sim Cards and same result (all Movistar Sim Cards work on ohter phones)...it's strange because if i use mi claro Sim Card it works great... Someone plis can help me... it's killing me!. Thanks and sorry 4 my crappy english

Hello to all the people of XDA Dev I wondered if we were as a rom rom Version w8 hong kong if there was no risk to relock the phone network an example I'm French I have an orange block xperia x8 France home I put the other to unlock sim card and the simple question is whether the sim card will still support the change of sim card like the days when I unlock the thank you for your reponse mik2929 (lament my English)
I just bought HTC One 802d from Beijing and when i put the sim card on slot 1, it won't work.
I think it might be locked by China Telecom and i am asking here if anyone know how to do sim unlock on that particular model.

Same here, need to unlock the HTC One 802d CDMA-GSM Phone. SLOT 2 working fine on GSM EDGE only, SLOT 1 is not working at all. Please help.

I also have the same problem with my HTC ONE 802d china telecom version. Slot one is not working at all with local carriers, it only works with china telecom sim card for roaming..

you will find how to unlock your boot loader, and apply S-Off which you will need to do so that you can sim unlock it.

Hello guys I've moto x verizon rooted and boot loader is unlocked. It isn't developer edition. Sim card doesn't work. I am out of USA (Pakistan) so every network here is GSM. but it isn't reading gsm card. It used to work but not now.
I am using 5.1 lollipop carbonrom. I even flashed 5.1 update of xt1053 once. So guide me tk make gsm working again

Hi there, first of all you should go to Settings> More networks> Mobile networks, then you hit on roaming and then you select "Always allow data roaming".
If by any chance that doesn't work, try to put the SIM card in another device to make sure it works. BTW how did you unlocked your bootloader? I've the same model as you and I'm having a hard time trying to find a way to unlock my bootloader

Yes I had tried enabling always allow data roaming and choose the mode at LTE/GSM/UMTS. it still didnt works

i had xt1056 with sim lock
i flashed 4.4.4 stock sprint rom (sim was also lock there)
i flashed 4.4.2 modem files
then just use nv item reader software & flash all 3 text files (no spc code needed).
got no error .. reboot & all sim worked . 3g 4g worked

I have N9208 dual sim note 5 bought in Malaysia. It is not showing volte option with my jio sim but 4g data is working great. The sim when installed on my j7 is showing volte. How to enable volte on my note 5 duos phone. Do i need to install a new rom, if so then which one.
Please help me Sir, i am in a great distress.

I am also using N9208 in malaysia and here no network supports volte only 4g.
That's why it's disabled in the stock rom, you can head over to sam mobile and search for N9208 roms and according to the region where volte works you can download the ROM and report back.
Also after flashing the rom if you want to change CSC, you may have to factory reset.

CSC is the region code, sorry I am not aware of any country from that list which is using volte.
You have to search.

Yes.
I downloaded the official rom from sam mobile.
I installed it and then formatted it. And then inserted the 4g sim on sim 1 slot. After 10 minutes volte started working.
which country rom u have installed bro.

Method mentioned above definately works..
Check two things ... hard format and clean install India ROM from sammobile
Also verify sim is in slot 1 and lte is enable for sim slot 1
verify settings of JIO...it should definitely work...

flash indian latest firmware n9208 dual sim from samfirm 3.4, volte is working perfectly,

I do also done the same procedure i guess
But its not working for me.....
Flashed latest indian frimware on my N9208 with the help of odin 10.4 its says pass message
After that it says installing system update and erasing and all but it boots back to previous ROM (NO DATA WHERE DELETED) After the boot
Trick = Flash ROM + Factory Reset

Do a factory reset after flashing the rom. This will do the trick.
It worked for me just now
