Has anyone been able to get Apps2SD or Link2SD working with the K3 Note? I am running cuoco92s Android 5.0 ROM (which is great, by the way) and cannot get either Apps2SD or Link2SD to work. The external SD card is partitioned properly with an ext4 partition. The developer of Apps2SD seems to think it is a ROM issue. And, no, I do not want to upgrade to MM 6.0 and integrate the external SD into the phone. I prefer the flexibility of Apps2SD or Link2SD. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ok, I just got my nexus today and flashed Modaco alpha 21.
I saw there was an apps2sd version but instead downloaded the normal one.
Do I really need apps2sd on a 4gb class 2 card?
Can you point me in the direction of how to set this up for modaco.
Also, do I need swap?

Thats what i used, its fairly simple and well wrote. Use the recovery ROM method, its the fastest and easiest.
To set up App2SD, you need an ext partition on your SD card and the userinit.sh script to initialise App2SD (search for it!!)... a faster SD card is recommended for App2SD, though it will work you ur 4GB class 2 card. Use App2SD only if you want to install many market applications and u know that the internal memory won't suffice. And for the Nexus one, if you've got HiMem enabled, you do not need any swap partition...
can someone tell me how to install apps into sd card then open them..i found that my legend's internal memory not enough for me..
What ROM are you using? First of all your phone needs to be rooted.. Second.. You need a ROM that supports App2SD (Applications To SD) - Then you can move the apps to sd and install further apps directly to SD
Most ROMS in this forum supports apps2sd
im planning change my ROM right now..im going to use Indigo bean 0.6..

I just flashed with modacos rom with app2sd. But i dont see the app anywhere in the programs list nor does any app ask me which drive it would like to be installed in. I partitioned my sd with Rom Manager too.
yup..im using modaco with a2sd but still cant found any way to install it into sd card..
any idea?
In my opinion Darktremor app2sd is the best way to install app in sd, you can unpack your current rom, add darktremor, and build it again.

honestly im newbie about this..and i haven't partition my sd card
ext2 or 3 partition is a must for all app2sd ROM except CM6 that use app2sd on Fat32
in indigo the app2sd is not available unless you make an ext partition on your sdcard
I was wondering if anyone knows whether the SD Card Partition in ROM Manager works for Darktremor App2SD.
Also does Cyanogen CM6 support Darktremor App2SD?

I want to use SD Card as Internal Memory so that I can install more and more apps.
I already have apps2sd but it doesn't send all apps to SD Card so, Still we have to stop downloading apps. But I think by rooting there is a way EXT2 (Partitions of SD Card) like this only. I want the guide over this Please give me the guide.

Hello I am wondering is it possible to use cm11 on my galaxy ace and at the same time to use my sd card second partition as phone internal storage for apps but I do mean like litteraly as internal storage and not using apps like app2sd end etc..

I am using Ultimatum mod on my ace right now but it only offers cm7 if I am not mistaking..
I would like to use cm11 or cm10 or any better more stable cm and this kind of kernel which allowes me to use sd 2nd partition as phone internal storage is that possible?
So what I basicly want is android kit kat or even better lolilop combined with option to use sd card partition as phone internal memory
