I bought a Pro Glass curved screen protector from Walmart and everything fit perfectly, felt nice, and looks great. But the touch on the back and recent button made you have to push harder and a little of the same issue typing but not as bad. I figures turning on glove mode would fix this, but Samsung being awesome decided to remove that feature.
Any solution for this?
Zagg is even having a hard time getting this right. I'm still using a tpu protector for this reason
Just tested the Glass4M Protector, not delay feeling. So far so good.

Since consensus seems to say that the stylus does not scratch a naked screen, I was wondering, does the stylus easily scratch the screen protectors you guys put on?
Since screen protectors are plastic, they are probably softer than the naked glass of the note?
What screen protector did you use that got scratched/not scratched?
Have any of SGP screen protectors users gotten their screen protectors scratched?
Because it would get annoying to have a scratched screen protector when you are looking your phone everyday, might as well go naked if the screen protector would be filled with scratched just after a week of use of the stylus.
Thanks
The cheap Ebay ones I'm running at the moment are easy to scratch with the stylus. They're even getting minor scratches from finger use. Waiting for my SGP ones to show up. I'm sure they'll be better
i ordered a boxwave protector, and havent ordered from anywhere else since I ran into the ebay problem. It's not in yet, but I imagine it will be scratch free for a good while
I'm using the skinomi screen protector and it doesn't really scratch but leave dimples and marks because the screen protector itself is so soft. It will probably be the same result with zagg skins as well, I plan on getting a harder one like from SGP later.

It has significantly scratched my SGP Ultra Clear. I noticed this clearly yesterday while sketching.
my atfolix anti glare seems just fine. in addition, it is nicer to write on since it isn't as smooth. That makes it a tiny bit noisier, and as with any anti glare protector you take a little bit of a sharpness hit.
The latter turned me off initially but people still WOW over the screen so I wonder if the sharpness hit is part imaginary.
Sounds like the Note really shouldn't have any type of lcd protector on it.

By Ultra Clear, do you mean the Ultra Crystal?
That is exactly the screen protector I plan to get. Hmmm..
Do you now think that a note without a screen protector would be better?
How annoying are the scratches on your screen?

Well I Received a screen protector to test and review from RooCase... I really wanted to love it like I love the Case I got from them, but I hate to say, I just cant use it. It came packaged nicely, and instructions were fairly good. But that is where the good ended for me....
Upon first install, the screen protector fits well, all the cutouts line up really good. The curve fits the edge very well and covers to with in maybe 1/32 and inch on each side. the top and bottom edge fits right up against the edge of the screen, so fit was really good. And that is also one of its drawbacks... when I went to put a case on the phone, I found that the case would push up against the edges of the screen protector and actually pop it up off the phone. with the RooCase Exec tough it would pop off immediately as the case fits really tight on the phone. It would push up against the screen protector and pop it loose as soon as I would try to fit it on. I tried my Speigen case and it did the same thing, although I normally would get about 5 mins before it would pop loose. I tried a cheap generic TPU case and same issue...
So I though that I would try it without a case for a little while. I noticed that while the fit was good, the center of the screen protector would continuously come loose from its stickum and actually be a little above the screen. You couldn't see it, but when you went to touch the screen light touches wouldn't register on the phone. If I were to touch harder I could feel the screen protector get pressed down to the screen and then the touch would register. once I took my finger off the screen I could actually feel and hear the Screen Protector release and pop off the phone.
Because of these issues I am once again without a screen protector. I had high hopes for this one, but it is just not to be... I sent RooCase a PM about these issues a week or more ago before posting this review, but they never got back to me so I am now posting this review.
I cannot in good faith recommend this screen protector.
Sucks to hear about the issue. You think the popping up with no case may have been caused by the numerous times it got popped off previously?
Im not sure. I didnt use it much with a case since it simply wouldnt stay on. when I tried it with no case I made sure to press it on good and firmly all over teh screen and it stuck great. for about 5 mins... Just to many issues and I refuse to not have a case on my phone. I will go back to using one of the tough armor flexible screen protectors as I know they fit and work with my case.
Hey guys, I need a new screen protector because I have the Spigen Pet film and it scratches a lot, I am interested in a Zagg SP as it is the only "High end" available to me without ordering and waiting for a month.
Which version would you recommend and why, what is the difference between them?
Thanks!
had a zagg glass on my note 5 when it flew out of my hand and against the corner of my closet wall.. the glass shattered and the note 5 was left untouched.. def did its job. I notice that on a freshly cleaned plastic screen protector (what I have on now till I put another glass back on) The spen doenst glide and can get stuck/grip on the plastic screen if that is what the hdx is made of out. The glass was all around smoother, didnt collect face/hand grime as quickly either..
Ive had both and the glass is prolly smoother to the touch although i cracked it after a DAY...wah wah
They have a great warranty program so they sent me the HDX and i think it is better for me. NO issues with spen.
It comes with a protector for the back side as well which is very nice (little grippier and no fingerprints)
I recommend either but the hdx is better imo
I've always used Zagg Glass with my phones. However, if you plan on getting the Gear VR glass is not a good option. The phone fits in the unit but doesn't completely snap in because of the extra screen thickness. VR still seems to work fine though. Also, Best Buy said glass protectors of any kind have a tendency to crack if you try and force the phone into the VR. I didn't want to mess with it so I did the warranty replacement on Zagg's website and chose HDX instead of glass. HDX looks great on the phone, just isn't as slick as glass. And the cool thing with Zagg is I can always do another replacement and switch back to glass.
yea zagg is good just go with them they have been around forever
Running the built in screen protector isn't possible. Too many issues with touch sensitivity. I did pop out the built in screen protector and applied my own. The problem is this causes a miss alignment with the power and volume buttons. So I'm assuming the thick but in protector helps line the phone up with the buttons. Is there something I can use, thin strip of foam, to help "push" into the case? Very frustrating, I really like this case over the commuter.

I had the same issue and nothing I did helped so I just bought the supcase unicorn beetle pro case. Even with my tempered glass screen protector, it fits perfectly and I still can use my volume and power button :good:

I did find a way, kind of. I hastily did this. I took some thin foam and lined the case where the screen protector was attached. That actually help line up the buttons pretty good. I have to go through and do a better job. I have the Beetle case, juts like the full rubber outside for grip.
What glass screen protector did you go with? I used to own an S7 about a year ago and ditched the glass screen protectors because they were terrible.

I went with the armorsuit HD. Been using their brand since my s6 edge and they have been working well.

How is the touch sensitivity on the sides? Rain bowing effect on the glass?

Surprisingly responsive of the edges and now looking at it, there is a little color distortion from the glass on o e of the corners ( most likely due to me having a good S7 Edge.) Other than that, no issues.
Huawei P30 pro has same screen size/dimensions as our device, and so i purchased this screen protector https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N2MVBXF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 works like a charm.
I followed your advice, picked up this screen protector and it works great and wraps around the curved part of the screen. No issues with it lifting yet, especially where I have a silicone case sitting on the corners of the phone where the screen protector sits. I would prefer a glass protector but I doubt if they will ever make a good one for this one. From past experience and online reviews, when looking at tempered glass protectors, those that have a black edge around the protector. That is where they apply the glue to stick to your phone. This creates a halo/bubble effect in the center of the screen where there is no adhesive. I tend to buy only the ones without the black edges. I'm waiting for Whitestone Dome to come out with one for this phone. I got one for my other half's S9+, works brilliantly and has full screen adhesive plus curves for the edge. Not sure if this one would work for our phone plus its out of stock lol

I went with glass for now, and it not covering the curves is honestly no big deal for me.

I use the fingerprint scanner a lot. Does the glass protector hinder it at all? The film type protector has no issues with it so far. Just not as smooth as glass of course

I'm about to buy what y'all suggested. Unfortunately, I bought the j&d screen protectors, and it doesn't even stick to the screen where it starts to curve. Has anyone found a better case for this phone? It just feels so fragile and I don't want to break it. Lol
Finally found a glass screen protector full adhesive for our device https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085C1WNPR/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_uj.3EbV1PRA50
The instructions have to be followed to the teeth or the install will be messed up.
