Hello Everyone!
I have bought a Xperia ZR device in my country (Madagascar). I think it is another ZR variant because it has that big 32GB internat memory intead of only 8GB regular Xperia ZR ones.
I tried unlocking its bootloader, the 1st try wasn't a succes but when I tried the second time (without unplugin the USB cable , I've just repeated the same command w/ the unlock code) the result WAS a bootloop
I tried to flash it with the 4.4.2 10.5.A.0.230, the phone can now boot normally but the issue is that my internal memory becomes only 8GB (4GB usable)
What can I do to bring back the previous 32GB memory?????

That is a fake phone maybe because xperia zr has no other variant.I'm using xzr too and it has 8gb internal 4gb useable.
I have searched On the Net and I found this called Xperia A from Japan Docomo career...It is so similar to the Xperia ZR but it has 32GB of internal memory
This is not a Xperia ZR (even if it has C5503) but a Xperia A after IMEI check

Hi guys,
This my first post on the forum,i bought a xperia z on november 2013 and till yesterday it was running fine..but from today suddenly the phone restarted again and again,so i reset the software from backup and restore,but from then the imei number and baseband became missing and the sim card stopped working.i tried repairing via PC companion but no luck.....GUYS PLS HELP ME!! THE PHONE WAS RUNNING ON STOCK FIRWARE 4.3 AND bootloader was locked...IT WAS NOT ROOTED ALSO

Did you try to dial *#06# to check ur IMEI? Try to reflash .ftf file via Flashtool (find the one for ur region).

Hello World,
As I'm a stupid boy, I've used flashtool to downgrade a Xperia Z to a rootable firmware Xperia Z_10.3.1.A.2.67_SFR 4.2.2.ftf
I've then used rootkitXperia_20140719 and XZ-lockeddualrecovery2.8.3-RELEASE.installer
Reboot, every thing seems ok except that my SIM card is no more detected. "Please insert a SIM card and restart your phone".
The SIM card works well in another phone. But I've never used it in the Xperia Z. IMEI is still correct in Xperia.
Why am I stupid ? Because I don't have any backup. So, what could I do now ? I've try touse flashtool to flash other stock roms or baseband without success. :crying:
Really stupid. I found what I've done wrong: I've used Flastool fastboot mode on locked bootloader...
Any idea to solve ?

Yes, I found a solution: The SIM card was not well inserted. Change the side when inserted (electronic part should back oriented) and everithing works well.
So today i got a new unopened xperia Z from a friend for free
So i went on connecting to my WIFI it shows that the device needs to updated to frimware 10.31.A.2.67
(which i later learned that it was a update released in 2013).But i didnt update.
My phone is in frimware 10.1.A.1.434 which i guess is an old frimware.
Can i directly update to a new frimware ?Can i update it to 4.4.4 or newer versions and also how?
My device is xperia Z C6603

You can install SONY PC companionon your PC and use that to update your phone.
If that still doesnot help, you can use flashtool which is unofficial way to upgrade/downgrade your phone.
You would need FTF from general section and also flashtool which you can get from here. Make sure the FTF is device specific or your would end up bricking up your phone

Hello everyone
i have a Xperia Zr with locked bootloader
i tried to install alot of stock roms but also with no response still cant get signal but there's a small note
In 4.1.2 rom the mobile shows a notification error : No Service and if i clicked its going to service providers menu that i can see the carriers but i cant register to any of them
in lollipop & 4.3 : the mobile cant detect the sim card & shows an Invalid card in notification
Imei & baseband works well
Is there's any hope ??

flash again another rom special for ur z3+ phone; dual or single version. if u flash dual to single or single to dual u fak ur phone...but after a reflash will work
