Hisuite doesnt work. Ive checked adb debugging and security, but I cant get it to connect.Any ideas? Apart from that everything seems to work ok for now. Great effort building them s custom rom, keep it up! I ll report back after a week of usage.

I've lost the Root though.... Any idea how to root it again?
edit: i've followed this guide "http://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p8/how-to/guide-install-twrp-root-systemless-t3325161" and root works!
Now i am missing the huawei files explorer and the huawei playstore(hispace i think). Any idea where to get this 2 apks? I tried extracting them from an b321 but the update extractor i have cannot handle the p8 update files(used to work on p7)
edit: found them on an old backup
So i believe you should add the root process to your tutorial (and dont forget the echo SYSTEMLESS blah blah blah comand) And on the ROM features section you should mention the callrecording function which works now (didnt on b321a) and its very important to some of us.
You are the first user who lost root after flashing a kernel. I did this a thousand times and never got a problem.

I wanted to ask you a question: since both Terra Incognita and Gratitude are based on B356, what's the difference between the two? What would you recommend to install?
And another thing: I don't know if someone already told you, that the "Safe" mode in the stock file manager doesn't work (since FF LP-based)

Gratitude is based on a kangvip build of the Chinese version b356 which was modified to work with our international version. Terra incognita is based on the latest international version b321a if I'm not mistaken. Gratitude has a kangvip menu that has lots of custom settings in it, including installation of xposed framework.

I thought that Terra incognita was built on B356 too, that's why I asked (or at least, on your thread on android-hilfe it says that it's based on B356)
Can I just replace the file manager with the one in stock B321a or it won't work? (Just if you know, of course)

It's a bit 'of time that I'm testing the rom, I found a bug when the phone is charging and you try to use, simply put the touch screen does not respond 100% to the user's touch! Also ask the restoration of the links to download the fix!
I will fix the Download but I dont have this Touchscreen issue

Same here v21a doesn't work with exposed got bootloop took me a while to unblock my phone. Here is how if you need to:
1) Download and install LG PC Suite from LG's website.
2) Turn of your phone completely (remove battery and wait a few sec)
3) Turn it on and when you're at the LG logo boot screen plug in your USB cable (on PC use the back usb ports next to the ethernet jack since they work best to avoid any problems) and then press and hold Volume Up button untill you get in to download mode (firmware update).
4) Don't mind the driver trying to install just ignore it.
5) On LG PC Suite go to Mobile Device -> Restore Upgrade Errors. Don't unplug your phone.
6) Wait a loooong time (for me at least 1 hour).
PC suite will download what ever it needs and restore your phone. You will not lose any data (I didn't dont know if thats the case for everyone) you just return to normal use but you will lose root and custom recovry also Xposed is not working.
7) Have a nice day and tell me if you got Xposed working for v21a

Well my first choice was to restore the backup i made the day before with TWRP but custom recovery was gone and was reverted to the stock recovery wich only allows to do a full data whipe.
Having the same issue with xposed v74/v75 @ v21A.
Fortunately I've made an nandroid backup before - so restoring was easy.
Anybody knows what has changed with v21A? It's still android 5.0 as the releases before...

Yeah, Xposed is dead with 21A.
I've tried freezing every app I could think that would cause the issue and I can't pull logs.
The only different thing I've noticed when trying stuff:
If I wipe and restore the data partition alone after being boot-looped, it lets me pass the boot logo and into the boot animation.
I've got nothing after that.
I actually see the differences that LG dev have make on V21A and has uploader of this ROM said, there is changes in the init.d that make xposed installation get bootlop..
I don't have enough knowledges in init.d to make a fix, if any one have already work on it for an other ROM..

Apparently Novastock rom, which is not on XDA, was rebased on v21a and Xposed works on that rom. I haven't tested it myself personally but if Xposed is truly working on Novastock, it bodes well that there may be a solution...

I am using novastock and can confirm that xposed works
Must say that i dirty flashed latest novastock 5.5 with new base over 5.3 with old base. Maybe it has something to do with that.

Oh interesting, I might try installing Fulmics 1.0 (v20u) and then dirty flash to Fulmics 1.5+1.6 (v21a) and see if that works.

Yep. Too bad its not on xda. Its on a spanish site. Google it snd you eill find it. But i cant understand a word spanish so i tried and flashed that rom when i received my g3 from repair the other day and i must admit that its the best rom i tried since i have this phone. Getting 5 hours screen on time when using xceed kernelnwirh stock settings.

Hello all together. Some of you may know me, some may not. I'm mostly active in the Galaxy S7/S7E forums and my Roms are pretty fine there. Since I've gotten the Mate 9 some months ago, many things happened why I couldn't make a Rom for our device. But finally I found the time to create a very basic Rom for you guys, hopefully you will have fun with it. Read the feature list beyond and let me know if that's what you expect!
I returned my Mate 9 if someone wants to continue this project please go ahead!
Rom Features:
- Based on latest L29C432B182 firmware
- Latest B182 kernel
- April security patch
- Prerooted with Phh Superuser
- Rom is fully deodexed!
- Busybox V1.26.2 is included
- Adblocker enabled by default
- Disabled force encryption (TWRP will read /data partition correctly)
- Disabled dm-verity (you will be able to modify /system partition)
- Slightly debloated
- More to come!
Bugs:
- Camera may not work on none L29C432 models
HOW-TO Install the Rom:
0. Make sure you have ticked OEM Unlock and USB Debugging on in Developer Settings!!!!
1. Make sure you have TWRP 3.1.0-0 installed from this thread here: TWRP Mate 9 Recovery Thread (this includes having an unlocked bootloader)
2. After you successfully installed the 3.1.0-0 recovery I'd recommend you to download the Rom and put it onto your external sd card (you will see soon why external)
3. Now it's time to make a backup of your current setup, since we will wipe the whole data partition in order to get rid of encryption
4. After you backed up, connect your phone to a PC. Power it off and hold Power+Volume Up+Volume Down together OR type in adb terminal: adb reboot recovery
5. When TWRP successfully booted up: Click on wipe, format data and type "yes"This will delete all your personal data!
6. Wait until it is finished then click reboot, reboot to recovery
7. Now it's time to install the Rom itself, so install the Rom and wait until it's finished
8. After flashing, hit reboot and wait until it's booted up
9. Congrats! You've successfully flashed my Rom on your device!

If i make a backup of my stock Mate 9 with HiSuite on my PC, will i be able to recover my SMS after your ROM is installed ? Same questions for the apps settings since, for the moment, i cannot use Titanium Backup because my Mate 9 ain't rooted.

- After first boot, turn off NFC (or at least try to remove the check from the checkbox, it will not be possible due to a bug), then reboot the phone. After this you will be able to turn it on/off as per usual.
- The rom contains TWRP recovery (power+volume up=TWRP)
- To enable "Developer Tools" & "Performance" menu options, navigate to "Settings->About Phone" and tap "Build number" 4-5 times
- It is not possible to update a rom OTA, only from recovery. The method of updating the rom is the same as installing it from step (3), the only difference is that the "-d: wipe data/factory reset" part needs to be skipped
- You can make the Google search bar disappear from the home screen by opening the settings menu of the Trebuchet launcher via long press. Then expand the advanced settings by swiping up the grey bar of Wallpapers Modules Themes. Here look for the Search bar and switch it off.

A Chinese user @深邃的萨科 tested your ROM on ALE-UL00 and found many bugs. After idle the phone can't wake up, he tries to unlock it and he can hear the unlock sound, but the screen is still black. Backup & Restore app causes Settings crash. Some customize settings causes Aicp Settings and SystemUI FC. Here is the logcat: https://mega.nz/#!AJdDXDJQ Sometimes the screen flickering. And the processor gets hot easilier than Omni 6.0… Anyway thank you, hope you can continue to improve this ROM.

Thanks for your work @NexXuSKa, but unfortunately you can not make a stable ROM only from source without a device to test ! How you'll test the new release ? and how you'll be able to fix the common issues on custom ROM's Android MM ?
My advice, is to get this device, in order to be able to properly develop your custom rom
Anyway good luck, and maybe you'll be able to fix the rest of the issues

-Flash B895/B896 Update if not installed already! (if yes, skip this step!)
-Restore your recovery(TWRP) because installing B895/B896 update overwrites it and if you don't make this step you'll be stuck with stock recovery until you'll flash it again.

One question, how's the battery stability?
Sir I don't know if this could work but at least in the Huawei Y6II we find a little fix for the sleep of death, I don't know if in your rom this happens
However I attached a zip with some libs, it's seems works in every P8 Lite based on Nougat and worked on my device

Battery life is pretty good, but I don't still have a full answer because I'm using this ROM for just 5 hours. But from start, 100%, it is 36% now after a lot of app installing, updates, and a bit of gaming.
Do you know if the fix that was created form the Huawei Y6 ll using P8 lite ROMs work on the actual P8 lite phone?
Replacing libs will solve SOD issue on Y6 ll
Actually, YouTube 720p60fps works finnaly well! It has sometimes just a few 5 fps dips but that is it. Videos are now for sure watchable.

I can confirm this. YouTube goes better than the other ROMs. Sometimes freeze for a bit, get some laggy, but that's just while it stabilizes.
Also have the headphones error... There's nothing we can do to help you to fix it?
On the other hand, the ROM also goes very well, but sometimes the screen doesn't wake up.

All roms need to be flashed via twrp as they are .zip files, and you only flash images through fastboot

Yes, all of you what want full compatibility on your Honor 4C, just replace HWC files. I'll try to implement the files needed for this and others to make more device compatible in the next updates.

If you don't mind the signal level but, it's working as 4G. I'm using a 3G card and I have no problems.
Unfortunately, SOD is here also on our P8 Lite. I'll try to fix it a.s.a.p in the next updates, after I'll work on Flyme OS Nougat.

Install instructions:
1. Install TWRP
2. Boot into TWRP and make a Backup
3. Flash Rom zip file and reboot into fastboot
4. Flash Stock Kernel with fastboot (fastboot flash kernel B371_Stock_Kernel.img) or
4a. Flash Elizium Kernel (permissive, Wakelog blocker etc) (fastboot flash kernel B371_Elizium_Kernel.img)
5. Reboot (fastboot reboot)
First boot need some time. Don't be nervous.
After reboot your phone need a little time to settle down (everything is laggy)
Enable frp oem unlock settings in developer settings!
Dont update the Magisk apk. There is a bug inside.
Then reboot again and everything is very smooth.

Awesome man, AWESOME! I'm waiting for this long time. Ok i have one question. I'm right now on Oreo 369, 370 is not yet released in my country for OTA, can i flash this rom now or i need to wait for 370 and than unlock bootloader, and other stuff and did i need to Wipe all like on Nouget your FF rom?
