I have the Mylink system in my new car I purchased and I just read that they have android auto working with Mylink 2016 models. Is there any way to sideload/update Mylink to a version that supports android auto?

So, I have a 2015 Sedona and a 2016 Optima. The HU are identical in both cars as is the UI, except the Optima runs AA. Is it possible to get AA loaded into the 2015 HU?? Is it a software update or something more involved? Dealer is obviously no help....
Thanks In advance for the help!

Hi
i have a built in head unit running on kitkat 4.4.2 in a brand new kia sportage 2017 model. I connected my phone to the head unit over bluetooth but it is impossible to see the title of the songs or any metadata playing. i called the manufacturer which had no idea and just gave me the explanation "this is like that" . I tried to install other music players (like poweramp) same problem.
the MCU verison is MTCB-HZC v2.95
jul 13 2016
Android version 4.4.4.23052016
This above is the model i have
It looks like the manufacturer has locked android ad2p bluetooth on purpose (for what reasons??).
Can someone point to a solution? I just don t see why technically that should be impossible and only see as reasonable explanation a limitation imposed by the manufacturer
Hello,
does anyone know if Android Auto is finally available on the new models of Toyota?
I'm interested in Toyota Yaris (which models exaclty?) available in Italy.
I've read a lot of articles about Toyota agreeing on adding Android Auto support, but haven't found anywhere more details about which cars/models and when.
Tx a lot.
The Toyota Yaris (With GPS) Touch & Go 2, has it's own OS (based on QNX).
I don't own one with the GPS module, So i Got Toyota Touch 2, but not Touch & Go 2 (1200€ upgrade).
I tried to connect My Galaxy S9+ with Android Auto to the Toyota USB, and the only thing I got with android Auto on my Smartphone, is a black screen.
Does Android 13 support Android Auto in Android Phones and Car Head Units?Or has Google Assistant and Drive have replaced Android Auto?
It's replaced. Also on old OS.
Android Auto on the phone's screen is deprecated and abandoned, it doesn't work since a few months, no matter the OS version (8,9, 10, 11, 12 or 13).
Android Auto on compatible car headunits it's entirely compatible with Android 13.
Android Auto Version 7.9723164 installed in my Samsung fold does not the split screen in my 9" Blaupunkt B910AU San Andreas 970 Car Head Unit Screen. Will the coming Version 8 show this split. The Apple Car Play already shows it in this car head unit.
