Is it possible to change use of storage options for sd card, like adoptable storage? And again, thanks a bunch for making our devices so much more fun!

I see u disabled bytecode verification.
Do you know it isn't safe to disable it?
Risk Assessment
Bytecode verification ensures that the bytecode contains many of the security checks mandated by the*Java Language Specification. Omitting the verification step could permit execution of insecure Java code.

Setting the value to 99% or 100% *might* give better pictures, I've did some research and testing a while ago but in 5 out of 10 photo's the camera is trying overfocus and the picture isn't as good as it would be on stock values.
Test this in different situations, multiple photos per situation, always using same angle (on a tripod) and same location, test with and without this mod and you'll agree.

Also lol first thread in dev forums.
Changelog
V1
Initial version
Fixed stock video player broken
Use new method to hide miniapps
V2
Debloated some more
V3
Now debloats on 4.2.2
V3.1
Added Aroma Installer. Props to @mythi
Fixed a bug where removing a file would cause Gallary FC's.
V3.2
Fixed even more name errors because I'm an idiot
Debloated even more
My life sucks
Removed useless Galaxy S4 boot sound.
If you want to bring back the miniapps (why the hell would you even want to?) then extract the minimode tray file to /system/etc/permissions

Reuploaded. Its the same name so don't get condused.
Me and @op are working on aroma version almost done !!
Fully Working Harman / Kardon "conversion" for all HTC ONE M8 variants!-discountinued
WARNINGS - READ before you proceed further!
- Does NOT work on GPE, put Sense on it and it will work
- Users with stock ROMs (especially US), if your base number is 1.1x then H/K won't show in your settings because it simply lacks the code. update to a newer base or flash a custom rom
- it is recommend to have S-OFF
- do NOT attempt this on m7. IT WILL BREAK YOUR PHONE!
Installation
Depends on your luck you might also need S-OFF to fully benefit of this hack - i say might because depending on your firmware you might need to update ADSP (Advanced Digital Signal Processor) as firmware as well and for that you need S-OFF.
If you are S-ON and feeling lucky grab View attachment hk_enable_v3.zip and flash from recovery. it will only enable H/K in settings and update the rom files for it
If you are S-OFF grab View attachment hk_enable_and_adsp_update_v3.zip with all in one zip solution. it will do anything from enabling H/K in settings to updating ADSP.
For uninstall grab the zip from the bottom of this post
Troubleshooting
ISSUE 1: I've flashed the zip and after reboot I do not have HK in Settings!! HALP!!!
Reason: Happens because you did not have false line in system/customize/ACC/default.xml so script did not find it so it couldn't replace false with true
Solution::go to /system/customize/ACC/default.xml
search for and just it below it add:
true
The final result should look like this:
Code:
<app name="Android_Multimedia">

6

7

10

5

false

false

false

false

false

true

false

false

false

false

false

1

</app>
Reboot. Profit!
ISSUE 2. I have HK and everything but when i play mp3 in HTC Music app i hear nothing. HALP!!! you broke my phone
Reason: Happens because you need to update your adsp (Advanced Digital Signal Processor) firmware.
Solution: You should have flashed View attachment hk_enable_and_adsp_update_v3.zip but i repeat you need to be S-OFF for this, if you are S-ON afraid you are out of luck
ISSUE 3 I did everything and it still doesn't show up on my Verizon M8
Reason: Happens Because Verizon uses a different settings.apk.
Solution:Grab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54272102&postcount=940 and flash from recovery
ISSUE 4 I did everything and it still doesn't show up on my phone
Reason: Happens Because you have a stock 1.1x base rom on your phone which simply lacks the code for HK in settings
Solution: update to a 1.5x base rom (custom or stock)
Credits
@ivicask for bumping ideas, @flar2 for some feedback, @migascalp for scripts, @andybones for verizon settings.apk @O.M.J for HK dump from where i got the files, @lyapota even though we worked separated we came to mostly the same files which confirmed i was on the right direction and everyone who offered feedback and helped me nail it down.
Permissions:
Free for all. you can include it in your roms / tools / scripts, just post some credits in the spirit of XDA.

For which reason some ppl have no problems (like me) with sound in Music App but some have?
Has it to do with the Firmware 1.54.401.5 WWE and ppl on other Fw?
Further the initial zip from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52294479&postcount=2810 worked out of the box for me yesterday. Only difference to your Zip is the included system/etc/audio_policy.conf. Do I still need to flash something from here, e.g. Firmware?
your mod doesn't disable BoomSound. It sometimes conflicts with H/K.
Here's lyapota's mod which also does this, but also disables BoomSound.

BOOMSOUND and hk switches can be disable and enable by a simple edit in xml you don't need a flashable zip for that The real problem was issue number 2.
So keep you stuffy right

Which conflicts are you referring to? Thus far I have had none using Baad's method.

But the Issue with not existent MP3 Audio is not existant on my device. That's why I ask...
So what exactly does this do? Where is it taken from? Does it improve sound quality, or just boost the bass or highs or something?

Even when I have no problems, flashing a newer DSP Fw cannot be wrong ...did it.
So flashing the adsp firmware on Verizon HTC one is fine? I flashed and did issue 1 and its still not showing up so want to do issue 2.

If it's not showing up after doing issue 1 then do not proceed to issue 2 because it on fix not showing in settings. Verizon might need some editing.

Flashed the hk_zip worked immediately. Through headphones it's definitely noticeable. Much improved bass. Through the external speaker can't really tell a difference.

You need to have 2 files AP.bin and CP.bin gingerbread
After you got the files download aio toolkit
Search in the aio toolkit a option for flash ROM with smartflash not kdz option 7
After you find it select option a) ap.bin and CP.bin
Smartflash will open
Select romcopy d/l
Now select your 2 Giles
Normal mode
Erase cal data not selected

Good Day SU660 Users,

I am a Kang's User but since Kang's Version has so many bugs specially HD Video Recorder, SD Cards and etc., I made an extensive research on how to get back from the Original ROM of Lg Optimus 2x SU660 Korean Version. So, here it is.

This thread will help you on how to flashback your Original ROM for SU660 Korean Version.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT YOUR PHONE MUST BE UPGRADED TO LATEST KANG'S VERSION BEFORE
MAKING THESE STEPS. IF YOUR PHONE IS ON 4.0.3 ICS, THEN, THIS PROCESS WILL GET ERROR.

1. Download the latest ROM for SU660 (Korean Version). Please click THIS to download. (Note: This is freakshare.com and expect for slow downloading speed. This downloading process will take 3 to 4 hours to download. But if you want to have faster download, just PM me.)

2. Extract the files from Step No. 1. Put this in C: Drive. You must have 2 files from extracted zip files, one is .fls file and the other one is .bin file.

3. Download the LG Mobile Drivers. Click THIS.

4. Run the LG Mobile Drivers (file from Step 3). Wait until it will say FINISH.

5. Download the SmartFlasher Tool for LG Optimus 2x. Please click THIS to download.

6. Run SmartFlasher Tool for LG Optimus 2x (file from Step 5)

7. In SmartFlasher Tool, select the 'ROM Copy D/L' tab. Ensure 'Normal Mode' is selected. Ensure 'Erase CAL' is NOT selected.

8. Under CP Bin, put the .fls file (from Step 2).

9. Under AP Bin, put the .bin file (from Step 2).

10. Turn off your SU660 device. Remove battery. Hold Volume Down while connecting your Device to your computer using USB Cable Wire. You should see a software update message on Phone Screen (S/W ...) and in the SmartFlasher Tool, the COM port and Communication Driver should be filled automatically. Be sure you comply, Step 3 and 4.

11. Click Start.

12. Wait for few minutes and be sure, that it says "Download Complete". I think, it will take 5 to 10 minutes to finish.

13. Wait for 20 seconds to remove the USB Cable.

14. Put back your Battery and ON your device. You will have now your LG Optimus 2x SU660 back with the latest version not the buggy one. Congratulations!

So, instead of paying the technician from $30.00 to $40.00 per job order, you can do it by yourself using Windows Computer (I used Windows 7 to flashback my phone).

I hope I help.

Regards,

Hey guys
I have finally ventured into the world of rom development and I present to you my very first work on xda.
A fully stock based lollipop rom for Xperia Z2. I know there are lots of roms available but they all are heavily customized with lots of features. This one is for those users (like my friend not on xda) who prefer stock, with subtle features, good battery life etc. I made this for her but she encouraged me to share it on xda (as I wasn't planning to initially). So, here it is, only 737.6 MB in size.
FEATURES v1.0
Based on latest Z2 LP 5.1.1 264 FW
Fully Rooted
Fully Deodexed
NUT Dual Recovery
Superuser Mod (Patched Services)
Fully init.d Support
Call Recording
Number Assistant
Qualcomm Assertive Display v1.3
SELinux Set To Permissive
Slightly De-Bloated
No Crappy Z5 Stuffs
SystemUI Bug Fixed (Battery Gap)
FEATURES v2.0 OTA
Fixed SD Card RW Issue

Thanks to @Laz for the patch

Thx bro for this ROM - it is awesome :good:
Pure Stock, rooted, debloated, dual-recovery and superuser mod - perfect!
You are very welcome. Actually, it was purely coincidental and I didn't even know your request existed around here. As mentioned in my OP, a friend of mine (actually my best friend) wanted a stock lollipop rom with subtle features and no heavy customisation. So, for her, i started learning rom development. Well, 2 birds with one stone is always good.
Let me know how you go.
Enjoy!

@spuri78
testing your rom and it works great, just one issue:
copying files to extSD is denied, cuz you forgot to modify a file:
/system/etc/permissions/platform.xml
Code:
<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
</permission>
change it to:
Code:
<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
[COLOR="Red"]<group gid="media_rw" />[/COLOR]
</permission>
cheers
@spuri78 can you share deodex systemui unfixed battery gap ?
Cause i like the gap #lol

1. Installed TWRP to FOTAKernel, Wiped the device and flashed the ROM. But when I try to shut down it hangs
2. My MAC Address is set to 02:00:00:00:00:00 and my WiFi wont turn on
3. Does the ROM package also flash a Kernel? Is it worth me using another one like EliteKernel to improve performance or will it cause sisues
Thanks

Yep, link seems to be incomplete. Try this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545571844
headphone sound low..
I tried it and I like it but the camera is pretty bad, not worth the positives yet. Now I flashed back the newest TWRP that I was using before and tried to flash both the 5.1.1 stock rom and 6.0.1 and both are getting stuck at the bootscreen, anybody know what's going on?

Hi, you can modify sound volume in /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml
Around line 2218:
Code:

<ctl name="SLIM RX1 MUX" value="AIF1_PB" />
<ctl name="SLIM RX2 MUX" value="AIF1_PB" />
<ctl name="SLIM_0_RX Channels" value="Two" />
<ctl name="RX1 MIX1 INP1" value="RX1" />
<ctl name="RX2 MIX1 INP1" value="RX2" />
<ctl name="CLASS_H_DSM MUX" value="DSM_HPHL_RX1" />
<ctl name="HPHL DAC Switch" value="1" />
<ctl name="COMP1 Switch" value="0" />

<ctl name="HPHL Volume" value="19" />

<ctl name="HPHR Volume" value="19" />

<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="84" />

<ctl name="RX2 Digital Volume" value="84" />
Increase HPHL and HPHR to the max volume of 20. You can also try increase RX1 and RX2 volumes. If this doesn't work then buy an external amplifier
@hipi0101 I had this issue with the camera app a couple of times, just flash opengapps again

Erm as far as I know, it got implemented with this commit: https://github.com/Sony-Stock-CM/an...mmit/11a89e559b9a3be3592afb6260f58bef09a0d466
This line in build.prop: persist.audio.handset.mic.type=analog
You can try change it to digital/disabled instead of analog or just remove the whole thing
@xkeita any idea?

I'm not sure, I don't have a device with official LineageOS so maybe. It's too early to talk about official.
Builds can sometimes be dirty flashed over in the case of small changes.

Thank you for your interest. First, is there still a problem with the CPU? Is it active and warm but nothing is activated for an open?Thereupon I discovered that the FM radio is pulling energy without it. I have removed with every update from the system.To make it even better, I use "Kernel Auditor" and activate the energy-saving mode of the CPU and the temperature control. This keeps the heating off and my battery lasts about 24 hours.BT and LTE work fine since the last update. I think that's it. Oh no, okay Google search remains deactivated in order not to mute the microphone when talking on the phone.The error I have but only in the mobile phone not via WhatsApp or AVM voip!
