First time installing crDroid to your Zenfone 2, or coming from another ROM?
[*] This ROM is made ONLY for the Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML Model)

Adding F2FS would mean you need to format the phone's partitions to F2FS (like you would do with EXT4). The kernel just needs to support the fs, nothing more. The flashing procedure of the ROM would need to take care to format the data (and system?) partition to F2FS

Actually I'm on stock ROM now [emoji23]
But when I tried the ROM the kernel was the one compiled by me (CM stock)

you can flash what ever you want but Why you bother and come to write here if you going flash other rom. i think you should say thanks to the people who spent time to do it for our device.

can you post Gapps? For users less able is very useful , however, very good rom , congratulations must , use it since last night and so far no problem

at the moment all is fine with the rom...it runs with Bank dynamic Gapps 6.x.x 20160701.
The battery-life is not really bad ...it's ok....
Nice rom-ok for daily use

Full wipe. Open Gapps Pico. Works fine. For me only when touch to open Gestures, FC.

Sorry, my mistake, i meen "Motion Gestures", (first screenshoot). Gestures opens fine.
Wheel it's fun. Fast Charge it shows on lock screen, so it works.
Screen on & screen off does not work everytime. I must press power button..

If you could give a log cat it would help me fix it

I am up and running with this CypherOS but I have a few things to report, one the gestures setting which enables actions without touching your phone crashes the settings and the HTC service pack keeps saying it has stopped, any ideas?

use zui and u will see that u dont recive any notification unless u opened it. bcoz apps are stopped from background while clearing from recents. But in custom roms there are apps working in background

Use kernel_adiutor_mod and enable per core settings..
limit the max frequency of each core of cpu(like 883,1267.. Whatever you find usable without lags), set governer to darkness.. Disable input boost..
Try amd reply..
P.S. Got 7 hrs sot on same settongs in nuclear nougat.. (from 90 to 20%).. Screenshots are at nuclear nougat tab. See for yourself

How to enable per core setting.. I can't find this option in kernel auditor.. And max frequency automatically set again to 2500..
And most of the time it get stuck at 1728.. Any help

Anyone tried Viper 5.0 build ?
Seems there was a build (Viper-kenzo-20181120-v5.0-OFFICIAL.zip) last month from official ViperOS in AFH.

I used it briefly. Lacks a lot of customization option. Other than that seems good.

I didn't test it that much. As it lacked the customisation I needed I switched to aex. But given viper record i guess it will be good.

Please look out when when it was published!
Then you can read that's a Beta! A Beta isn't free from bugs, it's up to us to find them and tell the publisher.

We have 2 Types of fingerprint manufacturers.
1. FPS
2. Goodix
FPS works on this ROM but if you have goodix then you have to flash that file after 1st reboot so you can get fingerprint scanner (otherwise your fingerprint will not work)

Mi Max 2 has two different fingerprint manufacturers, one is FPC (all custom ROMs work on it) and there is Goodix (some ROMs work, some need workarounds...). Redmi Note 3 and 3S people had issues with this same problem, only was fixed when one dev found an universal fingerprint driver for that device from another Xiaomi device, so we have to wait for the fix

Is strongly recommended to keep SELinux permissive. While switched to enforcing battery drain is massive. What's the difference between this rom and Ashwin build excluding additional features? Thanks

1. This one has more customization features.
2. It is compiled by me.
3. Based on Lineage OS means other developer owns this instead of LineageOS.
4. Somewhat tweaks for better performance + battery backup.

Sure. Thank you for great build working without any issue. Just one question. 'cm.whether' what's that? It's it necessary for Clock or widget or something else? I'm used to remove clock widget and cm.music but I have no idea what's the cm.whether. Thanks

cm weather is no longer active, you can remove that

Cm weather is a service which provide weather for cLock so it is only service provider for this one particular widget? Sorry for silly question. Just to make sure.

Yes, it was providing weather services for cLock widget. But unfortunately when cm moved to LOS yahoo and other service providers for cm stopped providing services to it.
There are service providers on LineageOS Addon on official website but none of them is working now.

Once time again thanks and sorry for spamming. Ram management is impressive, no any issue caused by battery optimisation - it's always a concern for me because phone is used on adapter most time and proper GPS route registration and stable bt is necessary. Thanks is given.
