Admin please make one... I just bought one and all I thought we can play it here in xda :highfive:
+1. I wonder why there isn't one. I'm guessing ROM's for the P9 won't be working on the P9 Lite. Anyone to confirm?
Is it compatible you mean? That is why there is no group here in xda because we can always get it on this discussion group

Just ask your questions here until it gets created. We're all here to help each other. As you can see this part of the forum doesn't have that many users yet.
And welcome to you.
no is not compatible i try http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/tool-srk-tool-huawei-bootloader-root-t3374068 and i unlock bootloader but i can't install twrp

Hi all.i recently contacted a cyanogenmod developer and he told me that if we want cyanogenmod.
Quote from Jef.
"If a device is currently unsupported, there are two possible reasons as to why.
1.) If the device was previously supported and is no longer supported, this means the previous maintainer has either left the CM team, or has become to busy with their own life to continue the work.
2.) It is because there is not a developer on the CM team that is willing to take on the work to maintain it.
In either case, if you would like to see support for this device, the best thing to do would be to find a member of the community who is willing to work on this device. This person would need to create a properly working device folder, and submit it to us through our devrel initiative"

And this post was way too old to be revived

Useless thread! You could post his reply on discussion thread rather then creating a thread for it.
Someone tell this guy to read first the Rules and also learn how to post. Damn this is annoying! I see him everywhere! xD
Sorry bro, no hard feelings but just be a bit more careful.

Hi guys
I have found on this site
http://www.lollipop-rom.org/mp3-0/lg-optimus-2x-su660-3762.html
Another lollipop based rom for SU660...
Is this a possibility to convert for our p990?
The comments below says that it works all!!!
wow its looks like its not fake
But its for su660, if someone can convert it
it's a fake guys someone posted in the lollipop thread the same link some weeks ago..it's an m7 rom
It is a scammer.
Please look into this page
www.lollipop-roms.org/mp3-0/acer-liquid-z200-6422.html
and compare it with your shared article. It's almost a copycat with just phone name that is different. Even the comments are the same!
Be careful.

Hi all,
TWRP doesn't seem to be working on the Android N beta. Does anyone know how to build TWRP for Nougat on our device or if possible could someone point me in the right direction?
I would really like to get Google Assistant working and build prop editing seems to be the only way.
Regards
Lee
i`m already in contact with one dev from the honor 8 forum and testing twrp for nougat. at now it is booting but there are some things to fix before it is ready for release. i would stay away from it at now because you could not flash anything with it. i will tell him to start a thread here after the relevant fixes are done.

Thank you very much for all that you and your fellow dev are doing.
If he wouldn't mind starting a thread to keep us updated that would be brilliant.
I am willing to help where I can if needed.
Regards
This is awesome...thanks so much

Hello peeps,
@mods will there be any sub-forum for Mi A1...?? i think this would be the 3rd Generation Android one Phone and the first one out of the batch ( considering there will be a HTC U11 Android One phone soon to be launched )
Please create the sub-forums for it. So devs can start discussing and working on TWRP and an official root method. Many Devs are not able to communicate properly due to the lack of a sub-forum for MI A1.
Request you to either create a Android one 3rd generation Cross Device development forum or a specific MI A1 sub forum and kick start the development discussions:fingers-crossed

I see a couple of threads for the phone, not big numbers though. Maybe there are more?
List here what you can find.

Thanks @aniketh12
There are a number of threads on miui forum...
But most of us are wondering where to post.!
There must have a place on xda to discuss everything... (Don't want to spam Xiaomi 5x forum).

Actually the phone is very new and launched just 1 week ago.. And as it is flash sell so not a large number of users were able to buy the phone.. If there is a subforum then surely there will be developmental posts coming..
How will development begin if the kernel sources are not yet released by Xiaomi's/Google? Also, the device has just launched. It will definitely take a while for development to kick start
Yes,please make a sub forum.. I think this device will be really popular.. a wide global release is planned. Xiaomi said the phone is slated for sale in 40 countries worldwide
Link for the forum
Hi,
I tried searching the Mi A1 forum or subforum in XDA. can you please provide the link for it.

it would be great to have a place to discuss the development for this phone. Looking forward to xda adding a device forum for it.
Is mi a1 get an Android Phone 9.0 beta?
Hola
Also waiting for a dedicated forum for the Mi A1. I am from Canada and Xiaomi has finally released a version of the A1 that has the needed bands for our major telcos. Actually I am surprised, given the international reach that Xiaomi is aiming for, that this product is not even more popular...
"So what you want me to do 'bout that?"
Need to unlock bootloader and root my MiA1..anyone guide me
