[Q] [REQ]LatinIme keyboard for MusicEd.v3

i have problems to add LatinIme.apk keyboard to the new music_edition_v3 of my galaxy mini

anyone have an .apk or .zip file with that android keyboard (working on the galaxy mini with that rom ofCourse )...cause i don't like the samsung stock one

Camera.apk from /system/app/

Can someone post a download link for the original Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Camera.apk that is found in /system/app/ ?
I installed cyanogenmod but the original camera is much easier to use

Camera.apk is a system app... you can install system app or move app from a rom to other rom.
touchwiz camera app work only with samsung touchwiz rom

1. copy keyboard apk from .zip rom file (the zip file you install rom). push it to /system/app. dont forget to set the permission and reboot.
or
2. reinstall the rom (wipe data-cache partition-dalvik cache-battery stats before and after)

[Q] ICS accuweather widget to JB possible???

Hello everybody.
I am using N7000 with stock rom.......i've just OTA my N7000 note 1 from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 today.
I found the 4.1.2 accuweather widget is 5x2 and cannot re-size while the 4.0.4 accuweather widget is 5x1 only and can re-size
i loved the old one.....
i've tried rename all accuwaether related apk and odex file in system/app, and copy from another 4.0.4 N7000 below files to system/app:
AccuWeatherDaemonService.apk
AccuWeatherDaemonService.odex
SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk
SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.odex
i also changed permission of these files to rw-r--r--
after reboot....no luck....4.1.2 accuweather widget gone...and 4.0.4 accuweather widget does not appear.....
I am wondering is there anyway to install the old 4.0.4 accuweather widget to 4.1.2??

For any .zip MODs your phone must be rooted.

1st u need to make a copy for ur JB4.1.2 below items
AccuweatherDaemon.apk & odex
AccuweatherWidget.apk & odex
AccuweatherWidget_Main.apk & odex
u can always make it more simple for u to flash a ics Accuweather by using
auto-perm-fix kernel support.zip from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240619
just download "auto-perm-fix kernal support.zip" n make 2 copies of it !
make 1copy for ur JB incase u want it back !
n 2nd for the ics which u want to install !
then delete all the JB items written above as mentioned
use Philz safe kernal flash it will do !
i didn't use "auto-perm-fix kernal support.zip"

[Q] Galaxy A5 Apps on GT-I9305

Hii All..
I have S3 9305 running official 4.4.4 kitkat firmware..
my S3 is rooted.. I saw some Note4 ports for s4 nd S5 running kitkaton XDA forum..
some of them like messaging, accu weather widgets, file manager, Snote, new touch wiz launcher. flipboard breifing etc run succesfully on GT-I9305 kitkat also..
but applications like settings menu, System Ui etc hv some force close issues nd some resolution problems as well..
I really liked those white note 4 settings menu nd stuff.. so I downloaded Galaxy A5 firmware and extracted it to get official A5 apks.. A5 is also based on 4.4.4 kitkat.. but those apks didnot work on I9305 kitkat 4.4.4
can anyone help with these apks of A5 working on S3 LTE 4.4.4 ??

you cant just take apps from one device, they need to be modified and you need to do a lot of debugging,, simple logcats while the app is fc is a way of finding out what the problem is. most apps also rely on lib files too

can u guide about modding the apps ?? as a newbie where it can be started ??
I extracted SecSettings.apk yesterday to get the xml but it was corrupted.. I think because it was from stock odexed rom.. how can odexed apks be converted to deodexed apks ??
