Yay!! What's included?!?!
please give more info about it
No this is not blueice or whatever that link posted was. dew vs ice. Two different things.
It is a mix between unrevolved by ozzeh and a little vanilla too!
Are any of these roms in the paid version of rom manager or are they just not there at all? Just wondering if I should even consider paying for the full version.

Not in rom manager. I just completed work on it today and i am still not sure if i want to release just yet.....It will be delayed not more than 30 min. I am still unsure about one program loaded onto the rom. Should be stabelized in a little. It is a quick fix
i'm not saying this guy is rr12106, but i would exercise a little caution.
never heard of rr12106. I made a rom named blue dew. Does it make me a bad person because i named my rom that???

Why the preemptive post rr... urr.. I mean Droidhacker. Next time produce then post. I really hope mods close this before I laugh any harder. There should be an age restriction on development subforum.

Thank you XDA users

This is my first post on these forums.
Because of you folks, I went from buying my first Android phone not knowing a thing, to rooting my phone, flashing roms, even to editing my gps.conf manually to tweak a patch to suit my particular region.
The senior members are helpful, and the guides and information are top notch.
Thank you!

Had my old Kaiser right up to about a month ago when I split up with my gf and left it at her place. It was the original hacked WinMo/Android beast phone!! Went from that to the AT&T Tilt2 (Rhodium), to the HD2. It's too bad the HD2 is the last phone of that era. One of these days my Leo's gonna finally kick the bucket and I'll have to get a for real Android-native phone. That'll be a sad day.

What's best Jelly Bean ROMs to captivate?

I am currently running aokp build 40 ICS ROM and a want up to JellyBean ROM. Which one do you guys think is the best ROM for the Captivate at moment?
There is no "Best Jelly Bean ROMs"!! Flash some Roms and see what is good for you.
P.S. Usually all the threads that have some like "What is the best blablabla" will get close.

We don't shut the thread down, it's the job of the moderators. And why do they close the thread down is that the answer that you'll get from that those kind of thread are bias. And also it's a little bit disrespectful to the ROM Developers, because let's say that if someone says ROM "A" is better than ROM "B", the developer of "B" would feel kinda bad etc.....

Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but if you would have searched, you would have seen exactly why the moderators shut down these types of threads. Just the other day someone basically started the same exact thread and it got locked up. Read, flash, and see what you like. Then read some more.
Also, all our captivate's behave a little differently, so Joe Schmo's experience on a ROM might be vastly different from your experience on the same ROM.
And with that I say good day.

i prefer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783064. it is worth flashing, it is faster, than stock rom and battery lasts much longer.

Best ROM is the one that works best for you. Try a few out and make your own decision.

I suggest you try again: it took me way longer than previous update. Probably more than 10mns.

I didn't find where to change from balanced to performance mode? (Neither in the previous version in fact)

You need to add an "o" without the quote to the front of the download link. IE. bigota.d.miui.com/5.8.27/miui_MINotePro_5.8.27_6806a61319_5.0.zip ==> obigota.d.miui.com/5.8.27/miui_MINotePro_5.8.27_6806a61319_5.0.zip
Do this for every subsequent downloads until they solve the issue.
I am noticing a big improvement in battery so far. 3 hours into the day with 44m sot at 86%
