Does anyone know of non-curved Glass protectors for the Edge?
It would leave the curve 'unprotected' but may not suffer poor adhesive properties of curved ones.
I've had one, looks horrible but works well
My issue with these Is how it would feel when using the edge Ux. I can't see it feeling great or working too well. I use the edge quite a bit.

someone have photos? thinking about one of this...

I've seen a lot of talk about cases but not much on screen protectors (aside from the tempered glass ones). On my OG Droid I used a Zagg Invisible Shield that worked well but had a bad orange peel look to it. My GF's iPhone has a "Power Support" screen protector on it which is crystal clear and works well.
What is everybody using? Are the tempered glass protectors where it's at now?
I always have used sgp spigen screen protectors, think they are the best ones.

I know it's kind of pricey, but Zagg InvisibleShield Symphony Dry is the best in my opinion! Covers the front and back it's honestly my fav.
The Best Period
I'm currently using the iloome flex glass protectors. It looks great and it is real glass and it's only $16.99, but it is worth it. Looks nice and feels good. Plus its thinner then the Spigen nano glass protector.

aren't the edges coming off ? iloome stopped sending it out for now
I'm not having any problems with the edges don't know how aggressive you have to be for the edge of the protector to peel

Privacy Screen Protector for my G2
Well I have this Privacy Screen Protector I purchased it from Fommy , and its working really very fine..no hard issues till now..so If someone looking for a privacy screen protector..can give a try to this one....its nice one to go for.....
Has anyone ever rocked their phone without a screen protector? if so, did you screen get scratched up? Reason I ask is my Diztronic case for my Verizon G2 is great but it pushed up my Verizon screen protector (dry one from the store, which was working great). Am I going to ruin my screen without a screen protector? Does anyone have a Diztronic case and a screen protector that works well with it?
I switched from my Ballistic case to the Tudia Melody, which I love, because the former was causing my Zagg Invisible Shield to pull up. But all my previous phones have been completely naked and never had any problems with scratches.
VZW LG G2
Does anyone have any issues with spigen and the proximity sensor like in this review? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E486GMU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1382404949&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

I've always gone back and forth using them or going naked about 50% of the time. Never scratched a screen till this one... one week into use there was a tiny one dead center. I think it was actually sorta caused by the flip case. Either the metal ring on it out something got sick between the flap and screen.

I saw some german ones that had holes for all the sensors, anyone has one of these?
I was thinking of invisible defender but not sure how the cutout is.

I ran my DNA completely naked. After a year it ended up having a few very fine scratches on the screen. Nothing horrible, but still there. I really like the feel of the bare glass, but may go back to a screen protector for my G2. I'm just not very good at installing them - maybe a glass one would be better... I don't know.

How much does it change the feel of the device? I love the idea of a non-plasticy protector.
just bought the Obliq pure oleophobic.
I'll post my thoughts on it as soon as it comes in

Looking closely at the edges of the screen protector on the phone, you will notice that the screen has about a 0.5mm radius all the way round it that is not sticking to the phone glass as a result of the glass curvature around all the phone screens edges.
I am having this same issue with my iloome flexible glass protector on my LG G2 as well sadly.
Without an external case that overlaps this edge I CANNOT recommend this glass screen protector as you run the fair risk of slicing yourself (i had to buy a gel case with overlap to mitigate this very real issue) or worse yet having a piece of glass screen protector break off in your skin because the glass screen protector is so thin and the edge is exposed around all the edges of the screen protector...

There is plenty of room around the bezel area for a case. This screen protector fits perfect.

Review on SNP Tempered Glass Protector. I finally received it from Korea and put them on. It took about little over 2 weeks to receive this.
I thought I did good installation on the Tempered glass protector, but all around the edges I had gaps.
I contacted the seller and they told me that this screen protector is not for Verizon model, because of the 1mm curved edges.
I guess the Korean version of the G2 dont have curved edges and I dont know about Atnt or Tmobile models.
They are giving me a full refund for this since they didnt mention that it is not for Verizon models.
But if you have the Korean Version of the phone I really recommend it.
First the costumer service is excellent.
Second, the Tempered glass protector covers close to edge to edge.
And third, the responsiveness and the clarity is excellent.
My fingers were sliding across really easy.
Since the protector is edge to edge you cant use cases like the Diztronic cases or SGP Slim armor, etc.
So you have to use the ones like Poetic Palette or Incipio Feather cases.
I mean I still have them on since the quality of the Tempered glass protector is really good.
Until I find another Tempered glass protector that I want comes out, I think im just going to leave it on.
* Pro
- Close to edge to edge coverage.
- Responsiveness and the clarity is excellent.
- Smooth feeling
* Con
- Not for Verizon LG G2
Here is a link to the product that I have bought.

I'm like 99% sure all versions have the curved edges on the front glass.

Yes this. Seems like I'll be postponing my purchases of a tempered glass protector until a decent one appears... Thought this could make the cut.

The seller told me that they dont have any problems on Korean version. Im sure they try out the protector on the device before they sell it.
But yeah...have to wait for another tempered glass protector comes up...was thinking about trying iloome ScreenMate Flex Flexible Glass for G2.
Have anyone tried this?
it looks like there's major bubbles on the edges.
I bought a Clasy korea tempered glass SP and the edges look exactly like yours. No offence, but I just can't take that gap. It does look like tiny bubbles and that forms a "silver lining" on the screen.
I'm having an international D802 and I really don't think any glass SP will fit perfectly on any G2 model. However, I think the normal plastic ones may work though.
Seriously planning to remove it and go naked..

Yes It has gaps all around the edges. Its not a thick gap around the edges...but it bothers me when i look at it when the phone is turned off.

Yes same here...the quality of the product is really good...but the gaps around the edges bothers me everytime when I look at the phone when it is turned off. When the phone is on I really dont notice the gaps but when it is off...it just...you get my point...
I have tried out 2 different tempered glass protector so far...and didnt find the one that fits my phone perfectly.
Tried the spigen glass protector for my iPhone 5 and wasn't all that thrilled with it. For the money at least
Just using cheap ones from Verizon, can't find a decent tempered one :/
Anybody knows of a good tempered screen protector for the S6 Edge that is not fully 100% Edge to Edge? One that covers the whole visible LCD but not all the way to the metal frame. My dilemma right now is that when I have an edge to edge tempered protector, with my case on, the edges of the protector lifts. And that's because the case keeps hitting the edge of the tempered protector. If screen protector was slightly short, then it wouldn't be a problem. I'm using regular non glass zagg right now but hate the fake looks it gives to the screen. Much prefer tempered glass. Thanks.
You could carefully sand down the edge of your glass protector. I had to do that in order to fit my aluminum bumper case.

Thanks, but not going that route. So funny, when I owned flat screen phones in past, it was very typical getting a screen protector that never was full Edge to Edge. Now that I'm actually looking for one that's not 100% Edge to Edge, it's hard to find one. Oh well, keeping this zagg HD for now. Thanks.

EDIT: Fudge I messed up the title. It should be TGSP.
I recently got a S7 edge and I want to protect it. I dislike cases since they usually destroy the design of the phone and usually just use Tempered Glass Screen Protectors. The S7 edge has notoriously terrible ones though. I bought the one by BENTOBEN since it was recommended on reddit but it turned out to be as terrible as all the other ones. Lots of popping and horrible sensitivity issues. The most important factor for me is sensitivity.
Has there been a consensus for the best or at least a really good TGSP for the S7 edge? I did some light research on this forum and it seems that people are leaning towards the GPEL V2 currently.
Is that the best one on the market right now?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
For a colored TGSP, the GPEL 2nd gen is the best ATM. For a fully clear TGSP, it seems to be the AmazingThing TGSP.
Between the 2, I prefer GPEL b/c it hides the Samsung logo & GPEL fixed the sparkly sheen issue.

As above. However, there is no perfect TGSP. If you like to use cases and change cases a lot, forget about a TGSP and go for a case friendly TPU self healing film from the likes of Best Skins Ever.

I almost never use cases and rely solely on TGSP. What are the downsides to the GPEL 2?

I've no personal experience with GPEL. Just know it's one of the more popular TGSP.

A new comer to Samsungs, can anyone tell me please if S7 non edge tempered glass screen protectors fit the Edge? Tried a curved one and don't like it, And I won't be using the Edge stuff anyway... I just want one that fits the flat part, with good chamfers on the edges.
EDIT: Actually, looking at the way the edge curve goes quite a long way in, I suppose this isn't going to work. So it's the first of many Android phones I have had that I'll have to run without a protector.... I always say that one should always have protection available..
There are some that works but I would like to know as well

Real tempered, no curve. No touch problem and it's cheap. No scratches and almost 2 months of usage.

Thanks, just ordered a couple. Hopefully, it will have that satisfying darker line moving down the screen as it attaches itself firmly all over!
