Cant Open Recovery

I installed philz recovery yet when i open recovery mode, it shows a dead blue android. How to open my recovery.

It seems you have stock recovery how did you flash it did you use toolkit by anil293 or did flash using fastboot and look for unlock boot loader option in toolkit or did you unlock boot loader if you didn't unlock try unlocking first an then flash recovery happy to help and also don't write THANKS HIT the thanks button IT would mean a lot to us developers

You can boot to recovery by the command >> fastboot boot recovery.img

I tried both. First I did with adb. It worked fine till I installed lollipop of India.
Didn't work after that, then I used the all in one kit as well, still no luck. I used their rotund option, it opened philz somehow. Please help

How did you install lollipop by restoring or flashable zip and which device are you using and my device is canvas a1 at first i installed lollipop using philz backup and then it got to stock recovery and i lost root and this is what i did then I installed official drivers and use minimal adb and fastboot tool and downloaded the official twrp and placed the img file in c/minimal adb directory and rename the file to twrp.img and NOT twrp.img.img and connected device in fastboot mode and typed (fastboot devices) a serial number displayed and typed fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and voila I got the twrp up and running from then I've been using twrp and also download the material theme IF you got any errors post here

Twrp Recovery not working...

I accidentally installed 2 different recoveries (Both are Twrp but different version) on my leeco le 2. And now I m unable to open recovery option. It just jumps on rebooting process without opening recovery.
Please help me....?? I want to install custom recovery asap.

Actually i installed a damaged recovery and now i have successfully installed twrp recovery.

Bricked in FASTBOOT mode after flashing TWRP. Need Help.

Hi,
after flashing twrp recovery, I made a wipe of everything even deleting os.
Now the phone starts only in fastboot mode, I can't go into recovery mode, I tried to flash flash roms fastboot with mi flash pro, but without success. I tried it also using command -fastboot oem edl, so in edl mode, it seems to start but does't complete flashing.
I'm reading a lot things about same problem, but I'm not able to fix...
What have I to do?

Use XiaomiFlash to flash a Stock Fastboot Rom from miui.com
There is a instructions how to flash it.

First you can try flash twrp:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
reboot (press volume up before hit enter and hold to boot twrp)
Don't use xiaomiflash/miflash, it's also bricked my phone yesterday.
Try this. If you want flash stock Download minimal_adb_fastboot_1.4.3_portable (search for link) and fastboot rom from http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
Unpack rom twice (tgz > tar > folder) and unpack fastboot files into folder with unpacked fastboot rom!
Open cmd in this folder and type:
1. flash_all (if you want wipe everything)
2. flash_all_except_storage (if you don't want wipe storage)
3. I do not recommend command flash_all_lock unless you know what you doing.
Wait for flash end and phone reboot.

It was not possibile to start twrp recovery, I tried serveral times, always flashed but never booted into recovery mode.
Anyway I've fixed using an developers global rom. Thanks guys

Mi 5 stuck with Mi logo

I followed the steps mentioned in the below link to root my Mi 5 phone and now my phone is stuck with Mi logo upon reboot to system.

Things I did:
1. Enabled USB debugging and OEM unlock option
2. Installed ADB v1.3
3. Unlocked bootloader using mi 5 flash unlock tool
4. Downloaded twrp-3.2.3-0-gemini and renamed as twrp.img
5. Installed twrp recovery via fastboot using the following commands
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
6. Copied SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822 to phone's internal memory
7. Booted device into twrp recovery. Under wipe option, did a factory reset. Installed SuperSu successfully. Clicked 'swiped to wipe' under wipe cache\delvik.
8. Then rebooted to system from twrp main menu
After the above steps, my phone didn't reboot and got stuck in Mi logo. This is the first time I tried rooting my phone .
Could you please suggest some idea to recover my phone? Thanks in advance.

It's likely not a big deal at all. Look up putting your device to EDL mode and flashing stock image with xiaomiflash. If you choose the correct stock image, everything will be fine.

Dead mi 9 ,only fastboot

I tried to install havoc 3.2 with installation guide in it's thread
But my mi 9 now can only boot into fastboot and I tried to flash stock rom with mi flash but show me error (sprase...txt doesn't found or sth like that,I tried to download it two more time but same,I will try download it again tonight)and when I tried to flash extracted partitions from fastboot rom with cmd(14 imgs) it flashed successfully but problem still here.
After flash I understood that I've shouldn't wipe system but I don't know what should I do.
I can't boot into stock recovery and twrp and only can boot to fastboot.sorry for my bad English.
Pls help.

Are you using latest miflash?
Does your computer recognize your device in fastboot?
Have you tried to install TWRP again?

Problem solved after i downloaded fastboot rom from another link and flashed it.
