ROMing virgin, so be gentle.
Regardless of which ROM I use my phone stalls at the ROM logo and just cycles through the logo animation.
I have TWRP 3.0 loaded and most installs seem to load fine but cant boot up.
Viper ROM loaded but a lot of the services kept crashing so now I am looking for something else.
A lot of the instructions to loading ROMs seem inconsistent on the process so if anyone has some words of wisdom it would be appropriated.
Ok I finally found a ROM that installed. I ended up installing BadBoyz but it has some bugs i need to figure out. The HOME button doesnt work or when i slide down the shortcut menu from the top there are no shortcuts except for settings and it doesnt work either.

Hi All,
Running ViperOne on an M7 One. In Venom Tweaks I'm attempting to change the icons that appear on the lockscreen from the defaults. If it's relevant, I'm coming from ViperOne 4.7, and did a wipe in aroma when installing 5.8, I'm having no other issues with this ROM and had no such issue in 4.7.
Anyway, as soon as I toggle the "custom shortcuts" option in Lock Screen->Misc->Shortcuts, I get a "com.android.ui has stopped responding..." message, and then loop. All types of reboots continue the loop as soon at they hit the initial lock screen. So far only a factory reset in recovery has been able to fix the loop for me.
I found the error hard to Google, due to the common name of the process that's involved. One solution I did find involved those who removed all traces of Sense during ROM install, as that apparently would leave you unable to change the icons on lockscreen (I'm not sure about this, but I didn't remove Sense so it doesn't apply anyway).
Any pointers as to what I could try would be appreciated!
Earlier today i went to flash a newer version of the viper rom. I have done this quite a few times and know the whole process of flashing a rom so i don't feel i am a n00b. So after the rom flashed it was stuck in bootloader and the recovery was gone. I got a recovery back on it and restored what i had saved prior to this. Now i keep getting this error process com.htc.htcdialer isnt responding and the phone does just keeps restarting after about a minute or so. I have looked around quite a bit for a fix but cant seem to come across one and hope someone here can point me in the right direction. And i also noticed it wont seem my sim card either. I did the unlock and was using T-mobile with no probs until i tried to flash that rom....Thanks for any help

I'm currently running ViperOne 5.7.0 I tried updating to 5.8.0 and even 6.0.0. Neither would work. Kept getting the same results as you. And, same as you, I tried looking at a lot of different places for solutions, unfortunately I can't find any.
UPDATE: I found out that the culprit was twrp 2.7.0.0 so I flashed twrp 2.7.0.4b and it allowed me to flash ViperOne 6.0.0
Try flashing the latest radio.
Hello all,
Every ROM I have tried to flash has come with some type of problem or another.
I have a SIM locked T-Mobile HTC One with a PTel SIM inside. I unlocked the bootloader, rooted the phone, and installed TWRP. Then, I downloaded several ROMs and tried to flash them (after doing wipe data and cache). Here are the specific problems I have run into with each ROM.
OneDroid: The screen keeps popping up "Unfortunately, Android Keyboard has stopped". After second boot, in addition to the other error message, the screen keeps popping up systemUI has stopped. The whole thing is just unusable.
Android Revolution HD: I am unable to obtain any phone signal.
ViperOne: Same issue, no signal.
InsertCoin: I can't get a proper HSPA+ connection due to incorrect APN settings. I have followed the directions on PTel's own website, but was unable to obtain data. It's a shame because I like this ROM the most of all.
MaximusHD: The only ROM to have worked properly.
I am sure I have done something wrong somewhere. I guess I'll just live with MaximusHD.
MaximusHD is completely stock with very minor changes. For other ROMs you have to select (or flash additional stuff) that you have T-Mobile device I think. But it is better to have their threads searched for "T-mobile".
OK, I haven't seen this specific problem elsewhere though I've searched a lot, so I hope someone can help me...
I want to restore my intl HTC One M7 to stock Sense. I'm not S-Off because of H-BOOT 1.57 but I've restored it with the Stock Guru Reset ROM. At first everything fine, and the phone completes a minor update with no problems. However, when the update for 4.4.2 comes, the phone cannot start after the update is installed. It boots up, then the screen turns pink for a while. Then the HTC screen with the Beats logo af the bottom comes up, but the colors are distorted - and then the phone stalls. Only option is to flash a new custom recovery and ROM. The phone is the M8 build of Cyanogenmod with no problems whatsoever, so there doesn't seem to be any problems with the phone as such - but, I can't get Sense to work.
The same thing happens every time, no matter which ROM or recovery I'm coming from. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this?
Thanks in advance.
I have installed a custom ROM on my son's HTC ONE M7 (cyanogenmod 12.1) so that he could get a newer version of Android.
This is the first time I have ever done this, thus I am a noob, so please bear this in mind.
IT was fine to start, but after just 1 week it now keeps constantly rebooting to the startup screen saying "optimising apps", which takes hours. This happens simply when he tries to open an app or do anything.
Anyone got any suggestions? I know Cyanogen is dead, but I didn't find any better ROMS that were not using Cyanogen.
Try AICP, it's official and I didn't found a bug when I was used it, and the best part is nougat and it's very smooth.
