Buy my Flex d958 in forum Spanish (HTCMania), after 2 weeks started to restart, what format factory and seems to fix it, a few days later stopped working wifi and bluetooth, install the stock rom for my model and I stop recognizing my sim card.
And I tried everything, and installed KDZ, also TOT + DLL, and remains unresolved.
The phone lights up perfectly, and works everything but the WIFI, bluetooth and sim.
I hope you can help

you obviously used the rom for the wrong variant, so put ur phone into download mode and open the LG mobile support tool and let it do its job....hope it helps bud
or if u still want to use .kdz files

go to that site and download either of the .kdz files for the "hong kong" variant
then flash that problem should then be fixed
i really need help
my phone was a legit purchase but now all of a sudden the IMEI number is null and the phone does not have any network
through the day
sometimes it fixes itself and the network is available and the IMEI number is visible and all of a sudden it abruptly it goes null IMEI number and the network goes away
please help me how to fix this, I am facing this problem since 3 days
I have tried searching alot across this forum and others but no one seems to have a solution, please help!!!

I was using Euporia 5.0.1 on LG 4x
I received update notification and I downloaded Update.zip ( which included to 5.1)
By mistake i flashed the zip directly from CWM ( without Formatting any partition )
after restarting there was no IMEI
Following things I have tried
1) Trying to flash Original V20C KDZ. via LG Flash Tool. ( I think it checks for IMEI , and that's why stuck in between)
2) Use LG Software Update tool. ( also can't progress with IMEI)
3) Flashed Original V20c Flashable zip from CWM (But it didn't restored my IMEI)
4) Contacted LG Service Center, and They say You need to change whole Motherboard. ( I was Shocked to know that )

I dont think that fleshing update.zip had anything to do with losing IMEI since you cant update 5.01 to 5.1 without wiping u will just have many bugs but u wont brick u device.I think it is hardwer problem my friend on his lg 4x have similar problem (no IMEI and cant connect wifi to any network).

Please post LG G Flex L23 au Japanese firmware, i bricked my phone i badly needed the firmware .kdz or .tot or .zip files.

Got this junk from ebay, paid more than $200 for it and it stop voice and data connections after 3 months, it suddenly won't recognize the sim card which work with it for 3 months, I suspect this phone wasn't permanently unlocked by the carrier or seller. They just unlocked it temporary and sell it to grab the money and leave. Unlocked international phone isn't trustable. Anyone have the same problem?

I bought one from hsn for 200 and after a week flashed wrong rom then flashed right one now no data no voice. I really like the phone. I dont know any fix for sim data card seems like the antenna is just turned off I cant find a way to turn it on. I feel ya.
You all visit this thread. We have all the files to repair your L23. Look on Page No. 3 for stock rom and root and recovery.

for me, I didn't do anything to the phone, it came out the error message 'no apn connection configer' and there isn't any way to config the apn for this model, then it cut off the data connection, and voice still work. Because the data isn't working, I reinsert the sim card, then voice dead too, a red 'x' above antenna sign, even hard reset the phone still not work, anyone can help....

I did not flashed the rom but lost the data and voice connection , after search thru the forums here, I found a way to get into the hidden menu to reset the network connections. My phone back to work again . If ur phone still not working let me know maybe u can try my way to reconfig it.

After update it shows "no network" and IMEI is "null". when I opened the back panel I saw "L23 main(2)" written on mainboard, which means I've installed incorrect ROM. Is there any idea how to revive GSM ? I've tried installing .tot file for L23 via LG Flash tool (or something like this) but it says that my phone isn't L23, so I cannot install thos ROM . Also I cannot get root and custom recovery. any help please or link to helpful thread...

Your phone was detected D955. So, first you try to install original LG G FLEX D955 rom. Or try cyanogenmod of D955 and see if gsm works. Then if both don't work then it will be confirmed that your phone is L23.
If you got KitKat update on it before, then it means it is D955. Because there is no 4.4 for L23.

I'll try it tomorrow. Even if it is D955, why is it written L23 on mainboard (motherboard)? A friend of mine has a D958 with the same problem, on that mainboard are two models written - LS995 and D959. WTF???

For APN in LGL23;
input keyboard call 3845#*23# (1)
Open windows Hidden Menu
go KDDI Only (press) (2)
go APN Setting (press) (3)
go New APN, fill in your data operator and save (4)
you can have 3 or more APN. next close windows with key HOME

I now want to go back to stock ( the rom can't read my sim, radio menu does not respond)
But i can't, whenever i try and flash the stock i always get a "device model is different" error
So i I'm wondering if i can flash simply by using the d959 dll or editing the build. Prop? Is there any other way? The recovery i installed is gone as well

Root, replace build.prop or edit it and flash to stock.

That errors gone, instead now it gives one about cross DL [L23] to [LGL23] S....

I have LG G Flex [LGL23 au edition] which was on 4.2.2
I live in Egypt and it was working fine on my local network
Until from few days I decided to flash a custom ROM to update to 4.4.2
The ROM I flashed was T-Mobile
and since then the phone is always giving me "Invalid SIM"
and every time I try to make a call it says : "to place a call, disable airplane mode" which is already disabled
the phone isn't asking for any Unlock codes ..
I can't restart in recovery mode using TWRP interface to install zip file ROM
But Luckily I still can flash the phone with kdz files using LG flash tool 2014 ..
and I think I can flash TOT files also using LG flash tool 1.8
Can any one provide me a link of international stock ROM (KDZ or TOT) suiting my phone model ??

I have bought an Unlocked LG Flex D950 (AT&T) and I am in the middle east where "I believe" D985 is the right model. Is it possible to flash D958 to my D950?
(I have the D95810c_00.kdz, but afraid if I flash it something wrong will happen)
If the answer is yes then elaboration is greatly appreciated, like how or a reference to a thread that can guide me.

The only difference that I can see between the two models is the 800 lte band. Do you know what bands your service provides? I don't think you need to flash anything.
Does the service not work at all right now?
Switching rooms and cross dll firmware is tricky. I have not done this. If you have a working recovery ,backup your Rom, modem and efs partitions . you can try it for yourself
You wont belive it... i want to change the rom because tethering is not working and i have to use my mobile phone for my laptop internet
