I have received an e-mail sent by the support JIDE with status. The purchase process is simple in the online store but can not log on to the account and check the purchase orders. I do not understand how an online store does not allow check purchase orders and status. If you click the page footer on the chinese option it is possible to see options like "Log In" "My Orders" "Shopping Cart" "Register". In my opinion should have the same options in English.

I have the same sentiment. I didn't get a confirmation email after placing my order. Good thing I did a screenshot when the success page appeared.

App Hub Registration issues

I've registered my windows live account with App Hub, and also verified that I have been billed for it. Yet when i try to login to App Hub, i always end up at the page below.

Also, i am unable to register my phone as a developer's. I get the following error.
Is the App Hub page broken, or am i doing some mistake? I am not able to access their forums to raise this issue since everytime I login it takes me to that stupid screen. Any ideas guys?
The simplest thing to do is to have your
Computer country
Live Account ID's country
and Phone's country set to : USA

I went to Microsoft billing, and delegated to another account in which everything is set to USA. Now atleast i am able to login in and access the forums etc. But still the same screen pops up. I've raised a message in the App Hub forums.
Can you tell me one more thing? How do i solve the second screenshot which i've posted? And also, am i supposed to get a mail from GeoTrust? Still havent got it.
For your second screenshot, I also had the same problem but the forums there explained that you need to get validated by GeoTrust first. How do you do that? You need to submit an app first.
Yeah I know it sounds dumb, but basically I just did the HelloWorld tutorial and submitted the xap file. This initiates the GeoTrust validation process, and you should get an email within 24 hours. Then you should be all set to register your device etc.

Nexus 7 pre-order delays (due to cover)

I posted this over on Google+ but thought I'd share it over here too. Here's my original post on Google+. Hopefully this wasn't already covered in one of the existing threads, if it was, my apologies.
Still waiting for +Google Play to charge you for your #Nexus7 order and provide shipping details? Did you include the #Nexus7Cover with your pre-order? Read on...
After waiting an hour and a half in the call queue to Customer Support (with an awful infinite loop of a single song), I finally got to speak to a CSR. He looked at my order and explained why I haven't been charged or received any shipping details. As it turns out, they don't have enough stock of the Nexus 7 Cover to fulfill orders. He also mentioned that his personal order looks almost exactly like mine and he just was charged / received his shipping info today. As for when I might receive my details, he mentioned he didn't want to provide me a date (understandable), but that I should be charged/receive shipping details in the next day or two...and ultimately receive my tablet by early next week.
I asked about the possibility of removing the cover from my order to have the tablet shipped out sooner, but he explained that the only way to remove a line item is to cancel the entire order and resubmit it (and I'm not willing to go to the back of the queue).
While I'm disappointed the cover is the reason for the delay, I can say that I'm very happy to know what's going on and that my order wasn't forgotten about.
Please post a comment below if you also pre-ordered the cover and whether or not your Nexus 7 has shipped.

Google Play Books screw up! Thoughts?

So I bought myself The Walking Dead book with my freebie £15 credit. Read five chapters, enjoyed it. Went to read it today and it isn't accessible. It has also vanshied from My Orders & Settings page but still loads into my library missing the thumbnail image.
It also shows up as a transaction in Google Wallet / Checkout.
I rang Google but they don't offer support for books over the phone, and i've emailed them and still waiting for a response.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?
They certainly got paid as such (using Google store credit) the amount is missing from my balance still.
Now I simply cannot get to this damn book.

Yeah, that's the one. It shows up but soon as I click on it.... page not found.

Me contact

I gave my moto x to my mom, signed out of my account and set it up with her google account. the only thing that didnt change is the "me" contact in people, which still shows my own details. pressing, or pressing and holding, does not do anything. how can i change/delete it?

It'd probably be easiest to avoid any other future issues of any of your data such as this if you just do a factory reset and have her set it up from scratch.

Have you gone into the People app and deleted the contact under "Me"? That or modify it to match her information.

After taping the contact under the Me section, you don't see the edit option after tapping the three stacked squares icon, like so?

the solution turmed out to be simple: delete contacts storage app data
it solved it.
