Good morning , I wanted a version of CyanogenMod 11 stable for my mobile , but unfortunately is not yet stable , but I always liked more the CM 10 (Jelly Bean) and I have a lot of free time, I would ( try to ) make a version of CyanogenMod 10 for my device , but gave me a question : If the default system is the KitKat , it is possible to do this " Downgrade " with a custom ROM ? It is possible to make the CM 10 to a device that was "born" with kitkat ? Thank you ( sorry for my bad English , I'm using google translator , I am Brazilian ) and my phone's model number is a D2004 / D2005 and am currently using the Cheetah ROM
E1 originally came with 4.3, and in July 2014 Sony released 4.4.2
Cm10 is not likely to be happen because cm11 is WIP and it will be better than JB
It would be possible, but downgrading to a slower OS is pointless
I accept the downgrade
Okay, it's possible , but if I did it would slow or normal? And if it does not get slower as I do that? I'm new in this area ( ROMs buildings ) and wanted to learn , I have the vendor of the D2005 , and I'm willing to make this downgrade ( if performance is not very, very affected, as constant fought and worsen the GPU

Alright,
So i've been on my Nexus 4 for the past year and my brother took my SGS,
I'm currently on Jelly Bean and want to know if the upgrade to KitKat has the performance improvements that was claimed with the release.
You know, easier to run on lower mem devices and such.
Also, what must I look out for?
Do I need a special kernel to upgrade before, or update my recovery to some different version, or is there a higher risk of bricking/losing my efs than the usual download/flash? Can I easily downgrade to JB/ICS?
Thanks
Hello!
For me CM11 is faster than 10.1.3 and 10.2, additionally it's more united. Smaller amount of lags, and despite the fact it's nightly, ROM is pretty stable Of course wipe is mandatory, so back up everything.
Buckle up and enjoy CM11 Best regards.
EDIT: Flash any KK kernel if status 7 error.
Hi Roastmeat,
I've been using either cm 10.2 and cm11 on my Galaxy s i9000 and believe me you really will be surprised when updating the phone to Android 4.4 Kitkat (CM11). It really is a big improvement in terms of speed. It will breath new life in your Galaxy S
On highend devices you won't notice such a big increase in speed, but since kitkat was developed to support even more low end devices, the positve effects are noticed even more on "older" devices e.g. the Galaxy S.
Greetings!
My advice: stay away from Android 4.3 ( for example CM10.2) as it is the slowest Android version for our phones. Pick a ROM based on Android 4.2 ( for example CM10.1) or Android 4.4 (for example CM11) . I would suggest Android 4.4 , because our device really feels the benefit from it's optimisations.

while using stock Rom( a long time ago) android 2.3.6, i was able to use up to 555mb of ram memory at start up, and then, with the official upgrade to 4.1.2.( that was so terribble) up to 625.
With cyanogen mode 11 , based on android 4.4.2 ,i can "use" the same ammount of memory 625mb: so my question is, can i us more of 625 mb on my rom? because , from stock 2.3 to stock 4.1 i recover about 70 mb, so , i hoped that with the cyanogen , based on 4.4 . things would have been even better ,so, it is possible to modified the kernel, to improve the use of free ram at start up of the device ? ( i know that s advance has 728 mb of ram, in part use by operating system, but i can't believe that , a Rom based on android 4.4.2 use the same ram of a Rom based on 4.1.2,; 4.4.2 , should be teorically better in performance, and more light...)
some tips, some clarification please

We had 629 or something like that on stock 4.1.2. with CoCore (it is not for CM) because Cocafe removed some stuff not needed that used RAM. So we only can remove something to make more RAM. There is some kernel for I9000 for example that removes camera and gains about 20MB of RAM I think.
Galaxy S Andvanced is on what android right now??
I dont understand what do u mean??
Update for samsung galaxy s advance had stopped , this device is running Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) out of the box but it can be officially updated to Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) , But the developers had made it possible for users to taste the android version KITKAT (4.4)and android version LOLIPOP(5 - 5.1 ) so basically till now the this device has got unofficial updates till LOLIPOP and because of the phone hardware too old and only few dev`s working on this device i don`t see any further update to this device.
Hi,
on some other older Xperia devices ( M, SP ) is available CM 13. Support of these devices ended with 4.3 JB and MM on that devices works well - including camera. This devices have official CM 13 ... My question is why Z1 does not have ?

There is CM13 in some form of other ROMs as they base them off the source code of it. There are plenty of these ROMs but none of them are perfected yet as developement takes time. Give it a month or two and stable MM ROMs will be rolling out.
Hi everyone,
Okay I know this is an odd question. Actually the question is,
What is the best Xperia themed rom for SP ?
I've tried a lot but all those have some major problems. Now I'm looking for a stable + smooth xperia themed rom for my device.
I prefer 4.4.x and above.
So would you please tell me your opinion ?
StryFlex is running well but it freezes my device 4 or 5 times a day. I need to force reboot my device then.
Do please share the best rom you've used so far.
Thank you.
try cm 12 or cm 13 with helium kernel...
The Best Rom may be Tweaked and Clean Rom 4.1.2 , Been using it for a week now , tremendous battery life and super rom , no lag at all or no restart.
Though there are few bugs as it is an ALPHA ROM , AOSP Nougat 7.0 is the best ROM for XSP till now , as per my opinion !!! Smart ROM , Smart Performance , Smart Battery ( Consumption )
Waiting for its official release , or CM14
