I forgot to enable tmpfs fix. To do this you have to set your developer password in settings -> developer mode and open terminal, then execute:
Code:
devel-su systemctl enable tmpw.service
After this you reboot your phone and all the jolla apps work normally.
Not needed for PREVIEW2

Changelog
Code:
- PREVIEW1:
Initial public build
- PREVIEW2:
Fixed av playback, cameras are on the way, need to get configs done!

Hoping this will work with Multirom...

@iArvee, I've not used it with MultiROM, so I can't confrim, it is targeted as my daily driver after all the fixes. Upload complete, BTW.

it will not work in multirom probably (90% sure)

after flash sailfish, recovery will still work?
EDIT: another question, I'm using L50U which is Z2 chinese edition, often I flash D6503 rom and then baseband fix zip. is this baseband fix zip could be used as often? or even I don't need it?
EDIT:I tried sailfish and found baseband fix is unnecessary . I can use network, dial and SMS. hope Android app support.

Unfortunately no
And i think you don't need it.

I haven't even tested D6502 yet, I'd be happy if someone checked other models out with their baseband fixes.

well works well on D6502, no patch needed.
is there a way to install android apps on this?
and also the dialer doesn't seem to work, it just keep on load displaying nothing

@hamzxoxo I will begin porting sfdroid(compatibility layer for android apps) after I cook fully working OS. Do contacts and sync work for you?

If not, then set your password for devel-su in settings -> developer mode and open terminal, type devel-su systemctl enable tmpw.service, input your password and reboot phone. They will work then. Probably forgot to enable that service in build.

I'll try and will tell you later but then i'll have to switch to stock i guess because i don't have another spare phone to run all neccesory apps

You can phone and sms from this, I use this as my daily driver now xD Need to get these bt/camera/dash implemented, because I have bluetooth headphones and not being able to use them is kind of sad.

Well ig worked but then is there any work around for running android apps? Because the OS is really good

I need to port sfdroid after I get all the hardware running, after I port sfdroid you will be able to use android apps.

AOSP for the Xperia Z2
--------------------------------------
CURRENT IS: 5.1.0_r3 LMY47I - build 2015-03-26_1
Based on Kernel 3.10.x
--------------------------------------
What should work (i.e. works on my staging ROM):
- All basics (screen, touch, buttons, sound)
- GPS
- Bluetooth/A2DP
- Wifi
- Torch/Flashlight/Camera is currently broken on 3.10.x builds; use build 2015-3-16_2 for camera
- SIM + Calls + SMS + Mobile Data (2G, 3G and LTE)
- All sensors
etc..
What doesn't work yet:
- The boot.img has no recovery built in
- This ROM does not come prerooted. Just flash SuperSU (2.45 or higher) to get root.
- Some apps have video glitches, e.g. YouTube, but HW-accelerated video playback works fine in e.g. MX Player
- Network location doesn't work (supl). You can only get a location lock with GPS satellites.
- Multiuser
--------------------------------------
DOWNLOAD
--------------------------------------
5.1 Gapps are available HERE Has been removed. Just use 5.0.x Gapps instead.

Just for info, userdata.img contains what all stuff? As basically if I flash just boot and system, and wipe data it should work right?
Also, would flashing userdata wipe internal sd? Since media is a partition is on data itself!

Yeah, don't flash userdata if you want to keep your sdcard data.. it will be wiped. Just flashing boot and system images, then full wipe is OK.
How is it after first test?
As always ASOP roms are fastboot .img files
How do I use that via MultiROM where I need a cwm zip?
Nandroid backup of current ROM, fastboot AOSP 5.1, flash recovery (is there even one for 5.1 yet?) create a backup, restore stock 4.4.4 via backup. Flash 5.1 in MultiROM from backup?
Or is there an easier way?
P.S you're fast!

For me everything works except for the camera. Sound has a few glitches when you listen to music and a notification sound plays (as was the same case in early CM12 builds), but I have this already fixed and it will be in the next build.
Is this using the binaries that have been posted today by Sony?
http://developer.sonymobile.com/kno...e/open-devices/list-of-devices-and-resources/.
Also the ROM version is wrong in the 1st post!

I could make the zip with working camera... Anyone know the commits?? I remember it being about the rhine stack.. Already have the sony source downloaded.. Just dunno where to find the fix...
Also guys, anyone know how to flash this rom without a pc?? Got a friend who can't setup his fastboot to work..

[ROM][Wifi][September 25]Omni 5.1.1

Summarized Standard Disclaimer: use at your own risk. I use it at mine
*Full wipe recommended if coming from another rom or Omni 5.0.2*
My personal Omni Rom 5.1 is based on omnirom with the following additions from CM11/12:
CM12 File Manager
CM11 Calculator (uglier but much more functional)
Bash shell
Nano text editor
CM12 discontinued Koush derived superuser
CM11 Forward ported custom host name
CM12 volume long press music track control
CM12 ad hoc wifi detection
CM12 camera power button shutter control
CM12 openssh command line utilities
CM12 custom quick settings
CM12 trebuchet launcher
The list of personal touches isn't very long right now but they include
Battery icon changes color based on percent: 0-15 red, 16-50 yellow, 51-100 green
Jelly bean style toasts
Android 4.x nav bar icons
Disabled SELinux at the kernel
Up to 1.6GHz CPU OC
Automatic 400MHz GPU OC
Not Working/Quirky
Bluetooth audio?? (can't test myself)
Stock camera randomly freezes. Just open it again
AOSP keyboard swipe doesn't work: google's fault.
Can't hear phone calls.
Flashing SuperSU might cause issues since the su daemon is started by the ram disk script since boot scripts apparently don't work.
Plugging in a charger when turned off causes the tablet to get stuck at animation loading
Everything else not listed as a quirk probably works.
*First Time or Coming from Omni 5.0.2*
-Read second post FAQ and other important information
-Make titanium backup (highly recommended)
-Flash TWRP 2.8.1.0
-Reboot into new recovery
-Make recovery backup (meh, I don't usually do it but you have been warned)
-Full wipe
-Format system
-Install rom
-install gapps (you can use another one if you want. I always provide the most minimum gapps)
-reboot
-install adblocker
*Subsequent flashes*
-Install ROM
-Install gapps
-Reboot into rom
-Reapply any adblocking hosts file.

Hi!
I'm new with flashing Samsung devices but i have flashed other and i thought this can not be so hard..
But now i need your help!
I wipe the whole thing nothing left, i can get in to recovery and i can load zip-files to the tab, but it says i have a P4wifi and I don't. What have I done wrong and is there anything I can do to fix this and flash Omni 5.1 for 3G tab?
I downloaded the omni-5.1-20150330-p4-HOMEMADE so I must have done something before this, maybe when i rooted the tab?
If u don't understand my english writing feel free to ask so maybe I can explain myself.

Found a old recovery file from 2012, flashed that with Odin, manage to install the rom, but not the gapps.
"Android is processing" so something is happening. I will just wait and see.
Maybe I did?
There are so many files circulation out there so I´m getting confused.
Maybe you can point me in the right direction?
I downloaded the wifi rom, but no luck with that.

First of all you need the 3G rom not the WiFi rom.

But I appreciate your help very much because I got two tabs, i bought them yesterday for 500SEK (57 US$) from a friend at work.

FAQ
Root?
CM ships with root, enable developer options and look in Settings -> Developer options -> root access
Doze?
Doze needs a "significant motion" sensor (which uses the accelerometer) to function. The S3 doesn't have this at the moment, and its accelerometer is probably not low-power enough to implement it. At the moment, doze doesn't work, but I might investigate it at some point(tm)
Stock browser crashes when downloading?
You need to grant it permission to access storage in Settings -> Apps -> Browser -> Permissions
Google camera crashes?
Use Google Camera from the play store, not from gapps
Bootloop?
Try wiping data, cache, dalvik, system and re-installing. Some people have reported that dirty flashing over CM 12.1 works.
noones said nothing im going to give it a go. currently on 12.1 and will be doing a full wipe... fingers crossed:silly:

CyanogenMod 13

We are really close to official support.
Our device mostly works fine now if you do a build form the official sources.
Only bugs are the known ones.
We are working on fixes for these, but they are hard, because we don't have the rare variants to do the needed tests.
Please don't forget we are not paid, we do it in our free time.
These are the bugs that we know about:
- SIM Slot 1 mobile data bug (You can find the workaround below.)
- headphones are noisey when the amp not gets signal from the soc but still turned on.
- goodix fingerprint is not suppoted yet (Need testers, who can send back to me logs, because I don't own this kinda hardware to debug.)
- Magnetic flip cover is not supported on CM side. (The kernel has driver for it.)
- ???
You don't have mobile data on sim slot 1?
There is a workaround until we don't have a proper fix:
- Put your sim into slot 2.
- Power on your phone
- Wait until it not connects up and get mobile data
- Now turn off your phone
- Put back your sim to slot 1
- Done
Old post:
Hello everyone!
I want you present the CyanogenMod 13 ROM that has the least bugs.
This rom uses kernel that built form source code.
Supports fingerprint and every camera sensor. (This is the only rom that can do that as of now!)

Sounds promising! Does this mean that flashing this ROM doesn't mess with the bootloader?
What are the main advantages of that?

I'm currently on Resurrection Remix which you know it uses leaked Marshmallow firmware. Do I need to downgrade to stock Lollipop firmware first before flashing this ROM?

No, but your bootloader will be re-locked.
See post #1 how to re-unlock.
ATM I'm working on auto-re-unlock.
Whit the next build noone's device will be locked again.
Same issue as any other cyanogenmod-13 based ROMs, LTE connection/detection issue (Indonesia). AOSP and several MIUI version (7.3.2) has no such issue. Other than that, everything works as advertised.

Does unlocking work with MiUnlock as well?
How's the battery life compared to other ROMs?
Xposed, Viper, Dolby Atmos working?
Does your build at the moment still re-locks the bootloader? Not that is a big deal, just wondering.
this rom is bettery than http://forum.xda-developers.com/red...cyanogenmod-13-0-xiaomi-redmi-note-3-t3350656 ?
fast?stable?

Battery life is always depends on usage, and this is a just built rom. Noone tested jet. You can be the one of the first users!
Xposed should work just fine. (It's a CM13 rom...) I never used the others.
Thank you for your hard work!
I have test that I can't find fingerprint in lockscreen, maybe the problem of hal or driver?
Here are the screenshots.

Turn on Pin unlocking first and then it will appear in the Lockscreen menu. (I think.)

What does this mean? I can still pair to a headset / Fitbit / car Bluetooth without the MAC address ?
Thank you for your reply.
I have tried but it still not work.
if I'm on an official MIUI Rom, will this re-lock my bootloader?
fingerprint working. but why do we have to check the hardware input for the keyboard to show up? its kinda confusing + theres no hint on want to do. maybe you can add to OP post about this?
BUGS:
- LED isnt working.
- charging stops at 81% (then its just discharge)
Thank you
Great! thank you for your hard work :good: .

Nice to finally see an AOSP rom for our device. Hopefully shouldn't be long before we get a lineage OS build
This is great to see. Has anyone tested it yet? I will install it and review it, if there is enough demand.
This custom is unfortunately not so good. The camera does not start at all, the browser does not go and the system looks like andorid jelly bean.
In addition, the root despite super su is not recognized and the sd map is also not recognized

I tested yesterday myself before releasing and camera worked, not very good but it should work. More camera functions and bug fixes will come in the future
My SD card also works on aosp, so not sure what's your issue there. I haven't tested root so can't say anything about that.
Unfortunately, the 7.1 blobs seem to be too unstable at the moment (http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/current-platform-functionality/#7.1) to build a reliable custom rom. That might be the reason why we don't see any aosp based roms (except this one now) for our device
I flashed it today morning, and it is pretty stable. Wifi, bluetooth, camera, cellular works. The thing that after switching the screen off you have to restart is pretty annoying but I can live with that. The only thing that bugs me is that I cant download anything. Build in browser seems to not support it so i sideloaded chrome and es file explorer but chrome couldnt download anything and es download manager gets stuck at 100% downloading and doesnt save anything. But Im still rocking this rom, its great
I'm away from home for 2 weeks with the army, but when I'm back I'll see what I can do to fix the bugs
I followed all the steps described in the post but after installing everything, I get a screen to put a key. I made the installation from version 39.2.A.0.417

It's your password for decryption of the phone. It's the one you chose on stock rom
Okay, but if I did not put any password, why did you ask for it?
Do I need to flash a DSD patch if I use this ROM on F8332?
@krabappel2548
Is it possible to add OMS7 commits to the ROM in order to enable full support for the Substratum theme engine? This ROM would truly feel COMPLETE with full Substratum support.

I have no idea what the standard password is, you never used any password for screen unlock or something else before?
