[DISCONTINUED][JB][4.1.2][XXEMG6][1.2] JoelDroid S3 [18 Aug 2013]

Hi Guys,
after much thought I have decided to discontinue this rom following are the main reasons, I do not have a S3 with me anymore, to continue developing and test mods I need a S3.
It was nice having everyone and thanks for the comments and feedback, it was always a pleasure developing for you guys.
If you want something similar to my rom, I strongly suggest you to try WanamLite I use this rom as my base so this is as close to my rom as it gets.

great rom

I was running your leaked 4.1 rom for S2 for ages, was so smooth and such great battery life. Jumped at the opportunity to try your s3 rom. So far its good, it's very responsive and not really laggy like some cut down roms are. Memory usage is great. Still testing battery life but so far seems normal. Love the theme, the one thing I would like is the narrower options in the settings screen (AOSP vs sammy settings).
One question = I got a missed call and this cool pop up appeared at the bottom of the screen with a few call back related options...what is this? Is this stock? I really love it, it's really handy!

Sorry for not updating this for some time guys.
Life was hectic
XXEMG4 will be up in a couple of days.
And I promise I will keep S3 supported till Samsung stops updating it.

Maclaw CM11 compass bug?

Hello, anyone is having problems with compass, it's weird because GPS is working just fine, but compass app's don't point north. Any workarounds?
It's the only bug I have in this amazing room, and I need it for geocaching

Yes I am having the same problem and it seems to be on all cm11 based roms.
The official geocaching app seems to work OK but I don't like that app much. C:geo is a far better app but as you say the compass function doesn't work on cm11. To be fair this is most likely an issue with the app rather than with the rom.
C:geo works fine for me on Maclaw's cm10.2 which is pretty much a flawless rom and one I'm totally happy to stay with.

There is a beta for GPS status & toolbox (atm 4.3.85) which does work with CM11.

Edit: first 15 minutes of usage are feeling good so far. A little bit of lag from time to time but SlimPop looks nice. I like Android 5!!

Other than camera you'd hardly tell it's in alpha.

Look for the icon on your lockscreen. That's where I found it on the previous build.

This way works, i means with app directly. I don't find it. Also google camera app from play store is showing.

Netflix is not working on my p5100 and sometimes play store closes but overal it working really nice

Only think I find not working that I use is cloud print.

Sorry man... I run mine as a DPod... Wi-Fi only.. Must be in the device tree though. My vs980 hotspot works fine

If I remember , I cried about it the last time I flashed du. Funny , your aod ROM it works fine, and cm and exodus, and that b one. I looked all through settings storage db and couldn't find any related files. Maybe they took them all out instead of just tweaking them. Dunno. But I'm Bummed.

It has to do with some external parts in the rom... May have to modify to match. I know sepolicy was a PITA, but there are still some stuff in the audit log that may get it fixed. Just have to comb through it more when I get time

My dad's phone is currently on Blisspop 2.1.
Can I just wipe and flash the zip?
Also, are there any things not working currently in this ROM?
His usage is basic - needs wifi, data, bluetooth, camera and lots of social media apps running at the same time .

Any chance for xt907? M on LS bt smhow from 5.1 its very slow devd n buggy. Need smoooothest aosp 5.1, even if it's plain n simple

I keep getting iptable issues in the audit log which I think that's the issue.. Gotta due more digging into it.

Oh boy, I wouldn't have thought to look there. But your prolly on to sumpin, cuz it just keeps erroring out. Like it doesn't want to talk to my wireless n USB antenna. It won't USB tether either. I don't have a Bluetooth antenna on any of my machines, so I don't know if that works. Thanks for trying partner. Near as I can tell everything else works great. I do miss the schedulers that Exodus has, but that's a whole nuther aminal aye.

This is one of the smoothest roms I have used, it's seriously lovely.
My nexus couldn't last a day on CM but this let's me leave it on MX player for 2 days and pick it up and carry on watching with less that 10% battery lost.

I am a Sony lover and I recently upgraded from Xperia Z3 to moto G5 Plus. I really love this device but only thing I was missing was Sony Music App and dolby sound. So I searched alot and found the sound mod and sony music app. Its working for me so I thaught I should share it with you all. I am using AOKP rom and the sound mod is working perfectly as it should. Loud and clear sound and I am in love with this mod. Its not my work I am just sharing the link below. All the credits goes to the developer.

Well, it's about testing and experiment with different setups, in fact, it is the biggest improvement about audio... For me it is top notch, and also includes all the Sony suite that works beautifully

Are you sure that sony audio effects are working. I tested on redmi 1s and it doesnt work. i am postponing root until devolopers set themselves since root with stock i dont like it.

All I can say is that I can feel the change in sound quality. Sony Music app, Dolby and viper all are working perfectly.

If you have backup of your data then you can restore that otherwise you have to factory reset the device.
or just reflash your current rom without any wipes.

Bro use arise and its installation is very easy just download that latest version (alongwith magisk module latest if you use magisk) and watch the installation video . Its worth the effort .
I have been using it since its inception .
