I did a factory reset with reactivation lock enabled on my s6. Upon set up and after I enter my Google account info, I am now also required to enter my Samsung account ID and PW. I am entering the correct info but get "processing failed" error message. I've tried everything for days now. After calling AT&T without resolution, I called Samsung and am told my only option is to mail them my phone with proof of purchase and a tech will fix it...3-4 week turn around

I root and unrooted my note 4 following the proceedures in this galaxynote4root.com site and when I unroot it using 5.1.1 stock firmware in this sammobile.com site and do a factory reset, my phone is locked because of ab abnormal factory reset, and when I sign in my samsung account it says processing failed, I tried wrong password and it says invalid id or password, tried bypassing into settings and adding samsung account but it does nothing, just goes back in add account, and the reactivation lock is unchecked, when I tick it and click accept, it is still uncheck, what should I do ? anyone please help me, I'm pretty screwed here
Well, T-Mobile replaced my malfunctioning Note 4 with a new S7 Edge. I like it, but I miss my Note 4.
So, I bought a Note 4 on eBay. It came today. When I try to use it, I get to the select language page and then the WiFi page. After that I get a message that says: "This device is locked because of an abnormal factory reset. Sign into the Samsung account that you have already signed in to on this device to confirm that it belongs to you."
I tried going into recovery and doing a factory reset - still the same message.
I tried to download fresh firmware, but Odin will not recognize the phone.
The messages in the downloading window are:
ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N910T
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
REACTIVATION LOCK: ON
KNOX WARRANTY VOID 0X1 (4)
QUALCOM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE(CSB)
AP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A2, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE

Anybody have any ideas?
TIA,

Ok try and do this as best as I can......
I bought a vwz S8 G950U used off someone from offer up was working fine when I bought it so when I got home I factory reseted to get all the users apps games etc off it and then it asked for a Google log in info (which I don't know) and I tryed to email the person but won't respond
So I tryed to install factory to binary to bypass it from what I been reading says I can do well I can get in factory binary now but now I cannot install oem stock firmware which I have downloaded 7.0 (what was on it ) says factory binary samsmobile and xda but every time odin3 gives me a fail message I have tryed odin3 3.127,3.13.1,3.12.3 and I think 1 more but every time I get a error....
So right now when I turn on the it his to factory binary mode and don't know of this helps but the battery won't charge past 80%....
What I'm asking if someone can be kind enough to help me out with this issue
P.S. I also tryed to instill Oreo 8.0 also but failed as well....
I can get any I go and post pics if that helps as well
Thank you in advance Jason A.KA. PpperoniRedd

5th digit back is boot loader bit number. This error is commonly from trying to flash with older firm Ware than on the devices

Greetings!
New Poster here. I recently bought a used Note 8 on our local marketplace here in the PH and was not thorough enough with scrutinizing the device. (Yes, I'm a total idiot.) I noticed once I got home and plopped my sim in that it was not getting any cellular data. I later checked the about phone section to see that the IMEI and Baseband numbers were missing. Now, I'm not very savvy with cellphones. Any idea on what I could do? I also noticed that on the back of the phone there is a model number SM-950N which is a Korean variant. However, in the about phone section it says SM-950F. From my very limited know-how; I thought it must be flashed with the wrong firmware or something but again I don't know much really. I can't return the device already as the seller won't respond to my messages.
Hoping to hear any suggestions on what I can do.
THANKS!

It seems you have brought a phone that is made up of different parts from different variants put together to make the phone work. I would usually suggest flashing stock filmware as this can often resolve the issue of the missing IMEI but I can't suggest that here as I don't know what filmware you should flash and there is an increased risk of bricking the phone in doing so. A very long shot but you could try a factory reset, with the phone off hold the power, Bixby and volume up buttons at the same time until a blue screen appears then wait for about 20 seconds for the recovery menu to appear then select factory reset.
Can't the marketplace help you? Did you pay with PayPal so you could open up a dispute?
If you come to a point where there is absolutely no way you can get a refund you could try flashing the filmware N950F but only do this as a very last resort as if you brick the phone there is no way you will then get a refund. (Just download the same or newer filmware than what is already on the phone as you can't flash older filmware, if you Google "Frija XDA" you can download the PC app to download the filmware at a decent speed and for free)
Post a screen shot of your download screen.
Download mode should tell you your model number and what mininum firmware version to flash. Download mode is hard encoded and a lot harder to change.

I've tried the factory reset method; no luck
Thanks! I'll look into Frija and flashing the stock firmware once I figure what firmware to flash. As for a refund, no I have no option of that.

Not really sure what I'm looking at.
I would say you phone has been refurbish, which means someone has made modifications to it. What modification are done who knows. Since the N and F series seems to be Exynos chip set interchanging firmware is possible.
In your download screen :
doesn't give a model number so not much help there.
WARRANTY VOID: 1 (0x030c)- means your knox is tripped ( been modified )
RP SWREV: B : 15 K : 13 S : 13 is the firmware version. The B: ? is the bootloader version number. Firmware has to be this version or higher ( cannot downgrade BL numbers ). Bootloader version will be the 5th number from right of firmware name eg: N950FXXUFDUF1.
Bootloader number range from 1-9 then 10 is A, 11 is B, 12 is C and so on. Since from your on BL 15 you will need firmware with F or higher. Looking at sammobile the only option is to use F firmware as the rest have lower BL numbers.
Note: N950? in the firmware is the model number.
As @stonedpsycho said you can try to flash firmware with odin. If odin doesn't work then try patched odin or try to get your money back.
