I have the T713. It is rooted with TWRP installed. I can play movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. When I try to play my vudu movies after a spinning cursor for a little while I get a message that says the license could not be acquired. Any ideas/suggestion?

Crackle, if you're in select countries
Films are really old on there though :-(

SPB TV, Netflix, TV.com, Crackle are 4 I've tried. I love Netflix and the built in Google Play movie rental system the best though.

I just received my KFHD 8.9, and I can't seem to get it to play YouTube videos in HD. Youtube only seems to work from the mobile website (m.youtube.com), and even if you check the "HD" option the video only displays in SD (looks like about 360p). I already changed my Youtube account settings to "Always choose best quality"...
Anyone able to get Youtube to play in HD?
Edit: I know that you can sideload Flash and an older version of Dolphin HD, but I was hoping for a stock solution.
did you try downloading youtube app? I can put my videos on HD there... 720P at least (Kindle Fire HD 7")

There's no YouTube app in the Amazon AppStore... are you referring to sideloading the Gapps? I was hoping to avoid doing that for something as (seemingly) simple as playing HQ Youtube videos...

She got a video of our granddaughter from our son's iPhone but it wouldn't play. I converted it to mp4 on my PC, emailed it back but that wouldn't play either. YouTube videos play as well as videos recorded on her previous Android phone. Is there a trick to playing iPhone videos?

I can't guarantee that it will work, but I recommend trying MX Player (or one of the VLC player builds, but none seem to be under development) from the Play Store. I think it supports many more formats that the stock video player, and I find it better in other ways as well.

I use doubletwist app to play all media content. Works for almost all file types I have ever used.

Just in case you haven't seen, Chromecast now has Vudu support. I hear that Crackle also has it but the CC icon doesn't show on the app.
Just got the update today and looked at their play store site and noticed it. Cool. Haven't tried it out yet but look forward to some of my movies from them being able to be played now. I gave up purchasing movies from vudu and went more for Google play movies. Now I can start shopping between Google play and vudu to see who has the better prices again...
As far as Crackle I just opened the app and the cast button was there for me.
EDIT: Watching a movie on crackle right now. It was slow to load up, the video quality seems lacking and grainy, not the quality I get from Netflix, Google play movies, or my movies on my hard drive using A via to cast them from my phone. Maybe in time they will work out any bugs.

I think google has better prices but vudu had the best video and sound quality I've found anywhere with streaming.

On avs or the Google+ community, vudu hdx movies are going for $3-5 to buy.. Can't really beat that. That's a rental on Google movies
