I had this problem, I will attach the superuser I used which works for me. When your phone has booted just update it on the playstore.

I have only used cm13 but it is a great rom. Stable with great battery life and updated security fixes.

Sorry if this is a very noobish question, but I've done a pretty good amount of searching and haven't found anything. Every once in a while when I check an app like WakeLock Detector or browse Xposed modules my phone will tell me that I am not rooted. I use root checker just to double check and it confirms this. Upon reset my phone will 'go back' to being rooted. I've done a factory reset and rooted again but was still getting the same problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
I'm on a Sprint HTC One with 4.4.2 for the record.
To any mods: sorry if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it or let me know where to correctly post it.

Supersu. Although I might have figured out the problem.
For some reason the binaries weren't updating correctly so I just did a clean install of it again and that seems to have done the trick. I'll update in a few days if the problem's gone away for good.
Im on the att note 3 4.4.2 ota rooted with towelroot. I have been searching everywhere but have come up with nothing. Can someone help me ?

Open SuperSU, click Settings, scroll down and click Full Unroot.
I don't know why you would want to unroot.

As far as I know all you have to do is download SuperSU from the playstore after your phone reboots from clicking "make it rain".
I personally have not used this method to root my phone because I was already rooted.
UPDATE : After watching videos online, it seems that SuperSU is not needed with this root method. Without SuperSU, there doesnt seem to be a method to unroot as of right now. I'm sure Chainfire (maker of SuperSU) has already heard about this and is working on a fix for SuperSU. He personally hasn't posted anything about it though.
UPDATE 2 : Apparently the latest SuperSU 1.99r5 fixes this issue. Problem is, that isn't the version on the Google Playstore.

The SuperSU from the Play Store will not work. You need to get version 1.99 and it will work fine.

I just private messaged you a download link for the SuperSU 1.99. Let me know if it works
All I did was extract the apk from the zip file and uploaded it to my dropbox. I tested it on my phone and it worked.
UPDATE : Chainfire just updated the apk listed on the playstore. So just go on there and download that version and you will be set.

Hi guys. I'm going to apologize in advance that I am a noob when it comes to hacking and rooting. I've successfully gained root access to my Verizon LG G2 using my computer. I used originally used an app called G2 Tweaksbox that allows you to change a lot of things about the phone. But then I wanted to try the famous CM 11. I did the tutorial on youtube, but I didn't install the GAPPS zip. Then I rebooted my phone and now it became stuck on the LG startup screen but looping over and over again. I've tried to hard reset it but it won't work. Is there any possible way to fix this, because I used another family members upgrade to get this phone after I broke my last one? Please don't judge but please help me if you can.:crying::crying::crying:

If you did a nano backup then restore that if not you are going to have to do the revert back to stock. But for your information for later on. If you install xposed with any modules. Make sure to properly Uninstall all them before you change roms or make any changes
One last thing the official cm rom is no longer supported. No one to work on the g2 anymore

I had issues with my phone messing up if I kept xposed with modules installed still when I did clear all and installed a rom. Not sure why but I Uninstall now and no issues anymore. I actually lost knock on once leaving xposed installed. I confirmed it with going back to my nano Uninstalling xposed and knock on worked fine

That's an odd one since Xposed runs in /system. Were you wiping /system and /data without restoring anything on a clean install?

Yeah I downloaded xposed and I got the latest module for support. I had no idea that you needed to delete them after you wanted to download a new ROM. Okay so do I fix this? My phone is stuck looping on the LG bootup message and the only way I can stop it is by hard reseting it and that just turns it off. How do I access it on my computer and reflash the stock? Please help.

Once your phone is off, hold up and plug it in to your computer. This should put you in download mode. Hopefully you have all the drivers installed...

I need help installing xposed. When trying to install it, I pop up shows that I cannot install. Cannot extact_app. Could anyone help me? My phone is rooted and I have other applications that only work for root. I have soft rebooted but have had no success.
Apologies I am new and slowly getting use to rooting with other applications.

Check this thread. Maybe you are affected by the latest Android security patches, which broke Xposed on most devices running KitKat or below.
Firstly I'm a Noob but I looked for days for a solution for this and I couldn't find one. So if there is a post like this please link me to it.
Thanks.
I am trying to get a working xposed on my phone but no luck so far.
I have S6 edge stock ROM G925FXXS4DPG3
TWRP twrp-3.0.2-0-zerolte
Was rooted now its not.
All the tries failed. followed instructions as mentioned but not luck.
Found all the files that would work on G925F-XXU3DPDP but not for mine. and yes tried to flash that ROM but I read that I can't downgrade ( didn't know it was a downgrading ).
Sorry for the long post but had to mention that I tried all I could find.

I don't have a problem with rooting. I root using Odin.
This is the name of the file CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.tar it worked perfectly.
I was able to flash the xposed framework without being stuck in a bootloop but when I open the xposed app under framework it said its not currently active.

Oh sorry, was a little confused because you had said you were rooted, and now you weren't so I was trying to help one step at a time. Glad root situation is fixed. Which xposed did you flash? Wanam's will work on 5.1 and 6, Odex or Deodex, have you tried that one? Do you have a log of when xposed fails to load
