XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".
How to use the layers theme engine
To use the layers theme engine please follow this guide in the YouTube video, but remember you already have the layers app built in to this rom, so you don't need to worry about joining the community or downloading the beta. See the XDA page below for available themes (you can also go to the Google play store and search "layers themes" - if you install themes from the play store make sure you open the theme after downloading and follow instructions from there)

the battery lasts me 18 hours :fingers-crossed:
When install layer theme in googleplay, install in layer managers but not reboot and not install
Very nice. Fast and smooth. Not sure yet about battery life, nut seems good too.
The only issue I have so far is there were no configured APN's; had to set up manually. But other than that, great rom

Sorry Im having the same problem now.
In other words its:
1.- wipe (system, data, davlink, cache)
2.- flash the ROM
3.- Reboot
4.- Enter Recovery and do the reset factory
5.- Reboot
6.- Enter Recovery and install the gapps
7.- Reboot
I am right? there is no need to wipe davlink after the gapps? or something else?
Hi,
I installed the rom, but I don't have root access. Do I have to re-root the device after installing?
Thanks

Screen rotation issues.
Hello,
I'm new with ROM flashing.
After a bit reading and some trial and error I updated my S4 mini i9195 LTE from android 4.4.2 to this XenonHD 6.0.1
This because Samsung itself didn't gave me any updates anymore.
Also installed GApps... I think.
After that I had some issues. Cleared data and after that it worked.
I can install apps from play.
Also had some issues with 4G Internet. Didn't work
Sollution was changing Apn settings to custom provider (smartsites.t-mobile)
But there's another problem and can't figure it out.
My screen rotation doesn't work like it should.
When I reboot on portrait setting
After reboot I put it on rotation. Then it works for a few minutes but after that it stops until the next reboot.
In all settings it is on screen rotation. So also the home screen.
Downloaded an accelerate calibration app.
Don't see issues here and works fine.
Didn't have this issues on 4.4.2 and did not bounce my phone recently.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Other question.
Are there any updates?
Can't update from my phone update.
It looks quite old to me. Also the security updates from almost 1 year ago..
XenonHD 7-12-16
Security patch July 5th 2016
Otherwise I will search for another better ROM.
Best regards Dennis

Try lineage os or aokp , they are both updated frequently and are fast and stable.
Edit: try the xenonhd nougat ROM , which is very nice IMO

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
SlimLP is currently in alpha / beta stage, some custom features are already in place, but much much more is planned for the future.

Amazing rom! There isn't any noticeable bugs that I can see, multitask is a beast, and battery life so far lasts about the whole day using about 2% battery per hour. I used your pink kernel with intelliplug on. The only thing that seems to not work is changing the governor. It always switches back to interactive. Other than that, very impressive for an alpha build! THANK YOU!

No. But if you're coming from CM a data wipe is needed likely which is why you're probably in a bootloop. CM 11 --> CM12 should be fine with data. CM11 --> other lollipop based roms = most likely a bootloop.

Great work for a alpha version.
The first boot will take quite awhile so just be patient. Also, it seems I can't set my own ringtones and notification sounds.

Im coming from the original ROM, with root and some mods from Xposed... Did a wipe factory (TWRP), installed ROM and then Gapps, First time took more than 10 minutes to boot and nothing.
Now I did wipe cache, data, dalvik and system, then reinstalled everything... Again it is taking more than 10 minutes to boot.... I will wait more 10... lets see, hope it boots!!!
update: 22 minutes waiting, I guess it will not boot... any ideas?
Thanks guys!

I first flashed an unofficial build of cm12 (before the issue of builds needing to have cm 11 installed first) then let it boot, then after that go back to recovery and install SlimPL
Took 5-10mins to boot
Sent from my XT1045 using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks, its is "upgrading" right now, what I did was get a CM 11 (pacman Rom) installed it , rebooted and flash Slim ans Gapps...
Now I just got a process com.android.phone has stopped...
lets see... Thanks
Edit: Telephone not working... cannot make call or use data and clock not working as well. installed CM 11 and CM12 and them Slim and same problem happened... CM12 working fine
After installing cm12 unofficial, i just did the normal wiping process dalvik data dalvik cache system & factory reset, then it booted

When I do this my phone just stay on the Slim boot screen...
For now I will try CM12 and when I get some more time I will try to use Slim again, need my phone working to work
Thanks guys! if someone come with some solution I will be glad to try...:good:
I flashed this kernel & it stopped mine sticking on the slim booting logo
Just flashed the Jan 11 build(with basketbuild 5.0 gapps), seems pretty solid.
Noticed a few things, though:
There's no outgoing/incoming indicator for network activity for Wifi and Data(the arrow up/down on their respective icons)
Total display seems zoomed out a bit? In a nice way
Carrier name on lockscreen is a little to the center, shouldn't it be on the left?
Camera's not working for me, even google camera(freezes upon capturing a photo, though can swipe from left to bring up a menu)
AudioFX isn't working for me, tried playing around but couldn't get it to work with Google Play Music, can't really tell if it's the player or AudioFX as there's no stock Music player to try on
Superuser out of the box is not working, though flashing SuperSU 2.40 worked.
Had a random reboot while playing video, probably nothing
Other than what was mentioned, really enjoying this rom and already planning on using it was my daily driver. Cheers!
Great ROM over all. Got a few issues:
1. When you try to import contacts from a backup on the phone it crashes the import (finding file via file manager then opening that way works fine)
2. When I use camera it will take pictures no problem but wont save them. Also when you press the back button when camera is open it won't close. Have press home for it to close. Does this on other camera apps and other lollipop builds so maybe a cm12 issue.
3. When enabling the dark theme in messages it doesn't do anything (cm12 issue would say)
I flashed cleanly per the instructions.
Would be nice to be able to change battery icon and have a clear all under open apps option but these are just extras can love without.
Thanks for your had work so far

upd. bootloop then restore backup in titanium.

Xposed working?
Thx for replying. Another thing u faced bootloops before and try porting stock apps and camera to this rom will be good
Rom seems to be working fine. However, still can't get titanium working, always bootloops when restoring.
Additionally, if I try to flash another rom now (Neo 4.4.4 or 5.1) it won't flash from recovery saying "this is a Hayabusa" not a Tsubasa...
sorry if those are noob questions, but I could not find anything on those problems.

Thank you, will try to find a kernel without check of the phone model.
First of all big thanks to lubik1, this rom is already really neat, snappy and just gorgeous.
Just wanted to ask which Google Play Store packages are you using?
Because I tried several after fresh installation (Google Installer from MIUI forum, latest opengapps, Lovins gapps for MIUI7, etc.), but I am facing the same problem with all of them. After freshly installing all my apps, couple of minutes/hours later I can't open Google Play anymore. It just force quits and clearing cache & data of Google Play and the Framework Services doesn't solve that.
MIUI app store is still working, but I'd prefer Google Play Store.
Btw, for those coming from 5.1, just run neos uninstaller to avoid problems with the camera.
Since recovery is not working in this rom, I currently reflash neos boot.img if I need TWRP and flash boot.img from this rom back to be able to boot the rom again all in fastboot. Works fine so far.

Thanks lubik1 for the quick reply.
Unfortunately it doesn't make a difference. The problem seems to be the newer versions of Google Play which are being automatically installed when installing apps.
In logcat I found that fused can't be called, that's why it's crashing. So I turned off GPS and tried again... ...and it works.
But GPS is entirely not usable on my phone right now. If I open Google maps I never get a location from location services (same for other apps).
I attached a log with the error while starting Google Play while GPS is on. Any idea why this is happening?

"MoKee OpenSource is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the users’ habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives.
Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee OpenSource. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop."

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your MOTO G 2015, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Will post a full review soon...
Just flashed it.
UI was very laggy after first boot so I did a restart and that fixed the lag.
It is smooth now with a bit of glitches here and there but smooth for most of the times.
There are no major bugs.
Everything is working fine.
Best pie ROM for osprey no doubt.
Will post if I found any bugs.

Cool
Hi, I install yesterday, all was good but this morning my phone didn't response and I need to power off with long press on the power button, after the boot all the system parameters goes to default, I configure one more time and after one hour same problem. I return to the old rom . It's a pity.
It is a excelent rom but it is not recommended to osprey with 1GB from RAM, very laggy in my XT1543. As recommendation is to include a option to remove the search bar, it is ugly and unnecessary, I think.
Hello everyone, does anyone notice that mms (image text message) is not working on any pie rom? I tried 3 different latest pie rom and same problem each time. You can send text but not images! Changing APN is useless or not working.
Except that, it seems that you've done a great job with latest rom , everything else works great ??

Go to opengapps.org and download it
Its arm, 9.0 and pico or nano or mini whichever you prefer.

Hi people.
This is again just a flashable zip of stock 9.0 ROM (firmware released today for J530F).
A lot of thanks to @ananjaser1211 for all help and his kernel, without him ROMs on J530 (on exynos7870) wouldn't be posible, so run to his threads and hit thanks (or better donate)
ROM is tested on J530F and J530G, I don't know does it work on other models (it should), test and tell.
Supoorts J730 too, but I didn't test it so if someone can, please do.
Modifications from stock fw are:
- Latest August 2019 security patch
- Based on latest J530F firmware (J530FXXU5CSH7-XEO)
- HeliosPro 3.1 kernel that support OC and tons of other features
- Extremly debloated (this is bolded because I really deleted a lot of apps exmpl. GameTools and all Microsoft and Google apps)
- Little animation when phone is locked and charging (seems like AOD but it is just a overlay thing)
- Sound mod (very loud, but still safe)
- Dolby Atmos for headphones and speaker (just for estetics)
- Network traffic monitor for statusbar
- Native call recording
- Native screen recorder
- Bixby Routines
- No sound when making screenshot
- An option to disable camera shutter sound
- A lot camera features, like scene optimising etc. (most of them don't work, they are there just for estetics)
- Joy Pixels emojis
- Samsung One font all over system
I recommend to flash Oreo BL and CP, and latest TWRP first than ROM, and thoose you can find in this Telegram Channel --- https://t.me/J2017Oreo
So for using this ROM you need latest TWRP!
TWRP DOWNLOAD LINK (J530)
Installation steps:
- Flash latest TWRP, and reboot in it
- Wipe data, system, cache and dalvik
- Flash ROM zip
- Reboot to system
(If you feel ROM is laggy when see welcome screen just reboot once)

Recommendations:
- It is highly recommended to use Magisk for rooting. You can use latest magisk zip from here. Just flash it with TWRP, reboot, voila.
- My personal recommendation is to use FDE.AI magisk module too, it makes things run very fast, and smoother. You can find it in magisk downloads, or here.
- Another nice thing I use for modding OneUI is Complete OneUI substratum theme. It has really nice overlays for fixing things samsung forgot to fix (dark theme in a lot places, systemUI headers, OneUI launcher fixes). It is paid app on Play Store, but it is worth it. Link is here.
- Another recommended thing is to use KRAKEN kernel for 32bit ROMS. I personally don't use it, but a lot of people say it is very fast, and has more features than HeliosPro. It doesn't have XDA thread but you can find download link here. Curently latest version is I, but if you are flashing, make sure to flash latest one.
