Can anyone help me with this? I need the KitKat OTA update (official AT&T) or full KitKat firmware for Odin to unbrick my AT&T note 3.
Thanks

You guys have the a3 bootloader? If not you can restore to mj5 then search thread for the method to get to official kk. If you have a3 look at carl1961 thread or try samsung experience at your nearest bestbuys if they have fw already. Also post in q and a section.
You can get the OTA zip from this post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701062 (thanks to mazdamiata210).
We do not currently have a ODIN version of NC2 (Official ATT Kitkat).
Please remember that all questions go in the Q&A section.
I will be asking a MOD to move this for you.

Umm if what you're saying is you that you have not been able to update to kitkat via OTA or with Samsung Kies and you want to update with Odin, then uninstall Kies and then follow the instructions in this thread. The files in this thread are the latest official kitkat release...after you flash them with odin you will be on stock NC2 and any future OTA updates should work properly if you stay on stock.
If not, try rewording your question...

ok
Download Odin here
Download NC2 (kit kat) file here
Open Odin, click on "AP", select the _HOME.tar.md5 file that just downloaded
When your phone reboots and Odin says "PASS!" the upgrade to official kit kat was successful.
Better instructions with screenshots of how to upgrade to kit kat are in this thread
Don't forget to thank @carl1961 for the install guide and @BlackRam1500 for the official kitkat files

No that is not a problem. Upgrading to kit kat this way will safely overwrite your baseband current baseband to NC2.

Yes after you use this procedure you will be receive ota updates
You will only receive OTA updates if you are using AT&T's service.

Before making the upgrade, it is necessary to make copies of efes?

I am not using the service of AT&T, I am with a company of another country
You will have to use ODIN (when the files are made available) to update from here on out.

I mean, after the update on via ODIN OTA, i do not want to be updates?
You will only be able to manually update with ODIN since you are not on AT&T. So you can choose to not update.
OTA means over the air. It comes from the provider.
Please verify the source of the image file
Can you verify where you got the file N900AUCUCNC2_N900AATTCNC2_N900AUCUCNC2_HOME.tar.md5
This worked for upgrading my N900A Note III, but my concern is the source of the tar.md5 file.
The sammobile site only lists the follow for my phone which actually fails through odin (note failed when it was starting out on 4.3)
Model: SM-N900A
Model name: GALAXY Note 3
Country: USA (AT&T)
Version: Android 4.3
Changelist: 1625098
Build date: Sun, 22 Sep 2013 07:17:41 +0000
Product Code: ATT
PDA: N900AUCUBMI9
CSC: N900AATTBMI9
MODEM: N900AUCUBMI9
I've been searching the depths of the internet, and your post was the first post that actually got me moving in to 4.4.2. So thanks for taking the time to post. Any validation/verification you can provide as to your source would be awesome
Thanks!

There have been 3 official firmware releases since MI9 - MJ5, NB4, and the latest NC2...sammobile is clearly not up to date
The NC2 files have been used and verified by several devs let alone used by tons of us regular folks with 0 problems...the original post with the NC2 files is here have a read through the thread I think it will put your mind at ease. I think @Walter.White created the HOME file from the stock files which is more reason not to be concerned
After spending countless hours on this website, I've come to the inescapable conclusion that the only way to root an AT&T Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900A) with an OTA install of KitKat 4.4.4 NL1 is to:
install a downgrade to a stock, rooted N900A KitKat 4.4.2 NC2 ROM
then install a stock, rooted N900A KitKat 4.4.4 NL1 ROM
Towelroot and KingoRoot don't seem to support NC2 or NJ5 ROMs from what I understand. Safestrap v3.75 and ODIN v3.10 seem to be the only two ROM flashing tools that will work with all versions of KitKat for the SM-N900A smartphone.
Would someone definitively state for the record what the most direct procedure for rooting a SM-N900A smartphone with an "official" OTA install of KitKat 4.4.4 NL1 is, please?
Thanks in advance and kudos the xdadevelopers for an indispensable web site that is the BEST, period.

Check out Walter.White on this site. Something he has posted might help. ( His post just helped me un-brick my SM-N900A using ODIN 3.9. ,(Thank you, W.W !)
Just realized that I may not even be able to post this...
Im trying to upgrade my Note 4 N910T to Lollipop 5.0.1. I've been looking around and haven't found a straight answer. Don't really care if I lose root. I just want the Upgrade. CAN SOMEONE HELP?
And I'm guessing you don't have access to Odin/PC or Mac? Then the only way is for someone to upload a Twrp backup of a lollipop stock based rom. That might work.

U need odin till someone makes a zip to update all. Baseband boot and rom. That would be a huge risk. Get to a pc and use odin.

Here is a link which has the full instructions/guide/step by step for upgrading to
the new official Lollipop firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...sy-steps-stock-odin-n910tuvu1anih-cf-t2903733
Here are the three tools (files) you will need to upgrade to lollipop:

The actual lollipop firmware can be downloaded from
http://Sammobile.com
Look for the "Tmobile N910T" Lollipop firmware on SamMobile...
Check it out.
Good luck!
from the link above:
if I flush this:
LOLLIPOP COD6 (STOCK T-Mobile) STOCK KERNEL -> Flashable ZIP
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952592798
I will have my note 4 on lolipop kernel and firmware?
I am currently on rooted kitkat with dynamic kat rom.
Thank you.

No, that is just the Kernel, You need to flash the entire Firmware. Remember this is an entirely different OS.
Check out pop rocks forum in development. Has stock rom and auto root with how to.
Can anybody please tell me about any one click or any easy root method for xperia z1 C6902 android 5.1.1?
Or else just tell me how to downgrade my phone to 5.0.2
I am new to this forum so if i have said anything incorrect please forgive me.
And thanks in advance.
And also provide links if you know how to downgrade to 5.0.2
There is no way to directly root Z1 lolipop 5.1.1. You have to downgrade (to Kitkat 4.4.2 is the best), get your z1 rooted, install recovery then update it to pre-rooted lolipop 5.1.1
Use Xperia Flashtool to downgrade or upgrade firmware.
Thanks for the reply.
Can u list the steps and the links and
Also please tell me how can I downgrade to 5.0.2 lollipop.
no do not downgrade to 5.0.2 since its awful to root because you need to change from kingroot to supersu... just downgrade to 4.4.2 and install nut's recovery and it will root it for you in the process... then flash prerooted 5.1.1. and you're golden
Okay. Thanks for the reply.
Can you list the steps and the links?
You know I am just a little new.
Thanks in advance.

First downgrade to .108 and root it.
Install dual recovery by NUT
Download .368 prerooted zip
Flash that zip via recovery. Good luck
Thankyou everyone at the xda for helping me.
And for the reply also.
