Hi,
my Phone restarted spontaneously today and is now stuck in a bootloop. I tried to turn it off by holding the power button but that didn't work. Even when I enter the bootloader, the phone continues rebooting all the time. I only see the white htc screen for a second and then the device reboots again and again, until the battery is empty.
I didn't flash anything new before this happened. The device worked pretty well with CM 12.1 for a long time.
Is there a change to repair this? Is it a hardware issue?

My One has a problem when I made a phone call. It restarted auto and boot loops. Can't boot in Os. I use stock rom and no root, no unlock bootloader.
Bootloader worked but I cannot do factory reset. Just boot loops at htc quietly brilliant screen.
Any idea? or go to repair shop.
I won't do anything to void warranty my One.
Did you find a fix for this issue anywhere? I've had the same issue with my stock HTC One for the last few hours and I've tried holding power+vol down and power+vol up and just power while on the red triangle screen but to no avail. This is my first android phone so I'm at a bit of a loss of where to go from here...
Phone was working fine until it randomly went into a reboot loop (not getting past HTC logo) eventually it booted up and all was fine then the boot loop started again and now the power button doesn't work and it still reboots randomly but doesn't loop.

If your power button is broken then this might cause the bootloop. You'll probably need to send your phone for repair.
If you boot in bootloader mode, does the phone still reboot by itself?

Yup, Can I repair it myself or do I have to go the htc route?

you proably want to send it to HTC. The M7 is not really DIY unless you have some really good skills with micro electronics. Many ppl here tried to repair by themselves but some ended with a broken device or with something else not working after reassembling the phone. (i.e screen not turning one, problem with speakers etc etc..)
Hey there,
I followed the guide on XDA to root my Xperia SP with the Towelroot app. The guide is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783885
I then rebooted my phone into recovery, and flashed the latest build.
I rebooted the phone and downloaded the latest Cynagonenmod 12.1 nightly build for the Xperia SP. Once downloaded I wiped my phone and installed the ROM using the TWRP recovery that I'd installed before. At that point I powered off the phone whilst I downloaded the Gapps package on my PC.
When I returned to my phone to try and turn it on nothing happens. It won't turn on or even load the splash screen when I press the power button.
When I hold the power button , the phone vibrates and nothing more! The reset button on the back of the phone does nothing either unless the phone is plugged into a PC. Even then, the phone vibrates 3 times but still won't turn on properly.
I have gone through the Flashroot tutorials over the last 3 hours trying to solve this problem but I've had no success.
I have found that if I hold the volume key down and connect the phone to the PC then the green light appears on the bottom bar of the phone for a period of about 40 seconds before turning off again. It then turns back on and repeats the process.
I am unsure what to do next. Sorry for the long post.
Any help is much appreciated!!
Flashtool progresss
Sorry for the bump but if this helps anyone that could potentially help me. Here is what happens when I try to use Flashtools to flash a stock ROM onto the Xperia SP.
EDIT: Don't worry I solved the problem. I instead used the PC Companion tool to recover my phone and it worked a charm!
I realised the mistake I made. I tried to install Cyanogen Mod 12.1 without an unlocked bootloader which is what likely caused the brick.
Guys, HTC 626ph is restarting again again. Can not go to hard reset menu or fast boot mode it,when i press the a volume down and power button it appears and phone is restating. I tried by replacing battery , same thing happens again. Firmware can not be installed because it is not going to fast boot mode, it restarting and HTC logo appear and it restating. How should I solve this??
Same thing happened to me. I flashed it with sp flash tool, but now the screen just lights up and restarting. any ideas
i need help, a few days ago my phone freezes, shuts down, and wont back up again.
i tried all button combinations and nothing seems to work at all, pressing volume up + down and power button only result on a red light flash once
This isn't the first time my phone freeze, last month i exprience a hard crash and a bootloop, but i flashed it through edl mode and it works again.
this time it wont even boot up at all,i hit a dead end.
i tried to use an edl cable but it still didnt work, the only way to access the edl mode is to short the test point inside the phone.
that method works, i manage to get in edl mode, reflash everything, but the phone still wont boot up.
also all the hardware is fine, i checked everything including the ufs and it works just fine.
but for some reason it wont charge at all on both the side, and the bottom port.
if i leave it for a while and then charge it, i get a blinkin red light for a while and then it stops flashing again.
if anyone can provide help i would be very thankfull
summary : i successfully flash the phone, but it wont boot up, and also wont charge for some reason. it still getting some current going in, but not much.

if i may ask, does your phone still able to get into fastboot at the time ?
no it was completely dead - so i tried to press power button for long time nothing happened, so i left it and after a few hours i put it in charger and tried power on, then it booted,,, After that i did factory reset, falshed the newest rom + kernel and (knocking on wood) it never happened again
